Amazing and insightful, not just for WW2 students like me

I am going to kill myself that I don't remember his name (I want to say Daniel), he was a Chinese American who has been living in Berlin for 20+ years. It was funny that he starts explaining that he doesn't look like the typical German person lol.... LOTS of historical facts, great energy, sense of humor, especially for a large group that we had. It was a great experience. Very moving. Our guide, Will was very informative and engaged with the group. If I had one criticism it would be not the guide or the tour but it was advertised as maximum 15 people (small group tour ) and there was 23 …… Still a great tour though. I would recommend it for sure

A gentle, elegant river cruise

This was a gentle elegant cruise through Berlin on the river Spree, the crew were professional and friendly, with waiter service available, sitting at pretty tables downstairs or up on the viewing decks. The passenger numbers are much less than on some of the bigger river cruisers and this made it feel a very personal experience. Reasonably priced too. The commentary was very good, very informative, with lovely, eclectic music to fill in the gaps. I would recommend this to anyone, especially those who would appreciate a more sociable, approach to a river cruise. We really enjoyed the trip, it lasted an hour and was a highlight of our trip to Berlin - thank you Viator.

Great intro to a big city

Great way to see Berlins monuments and introduce yourself to the city. Thor was a knowledgeable and capable guide. We saw a ton of places that I’d like to revisit; this was a wonderful way to get oriented and to delve into some of the history of Berlin! This was physically an easy ride but a bit more challenging due to traffic, overall quite enjoyable and I recommend.

Unfiltered History Tour.

Felipe’s vast knowledge was exceptional. Every small detail was covered and the way the tour was delivered was perfect. It can be rushed, but that’s just how it is with tours. Maybe a once in a lifetime experience - incredibly fun!

Incredibly fun activity! **However, I would not recommend if you wanted a guided experience through Berlin with a 'narrator' of the city. That being said, this was the highlight of a 10-day city trip throughout Europe. Everyone throughout the city was very excited to see us driving in these small vehicles.

Wonderful tour!

This was a wonderful tour of Berlin. Our tour guide was younger and really seemed to be connected to the city. He knew so much of how the city ticks and have us some information that assisted the remainder of our trip. We learned a ton about the history of the city and saw a ton of wonderful sites. Would highly recommend. My only criticism is that the tour is bilingual. So half of the time we just looked around as we couldn't understand what they were saying. The tour guide was truly wonderful and engaging though.

Amazing Tour

Eugen did an amazing job showing us the many, many highlights of Berlin. He went out of his way to cater to our specific interests and taught us so much history, in addition to sharing interesting anecdotes along the way. We highly recommend this tour with Birchy’s Tours and specifically doing the full day tour with Eugen. It was the best way to make the most of our short time in the city.

Great Tour!

This was a fantastic tour! We learned so much about Berlin and had the best food! The kebab from the Turkish restaurant was our favorite! We were so full by the end of the tour! We made several stops, tried sweet, savory, some currywurst (which was surprisingly delicious!) and learned about the food and the city. One of the best tours we have ever had! Even my kids 21 and 17 enjoyed it!
