What are people saying about Venice

See something different!
Nico gave a great tour of an area of Venice that I otherwise might have missed. It was great to be away from the crowds and to hear Nico’s interesting history of the area. Nico would answer any question and also provides great restaurant recommendations!

Glass blowing is amazing and the kids enjoyed it.
It was amazing to see them blow the glass and make a horse out of glass in less than 2 minutes. The lace making was a little less impressive but still awesome. The tour guide was great and checked to make sure everyone was good several times throughout the trip. It was a little hard to keep the kids hands off of all of the very expensive glass pieces in the gift store and in the showroom.

Wonderful journey through the canals of Venice!
Wonderful tour of all the canals both major and some really quiet ones. The electric engine means the journey is lovely and quiet and no smell of oil!! Sebastian was our driver and guide and was brilliant. 5 stars given as it was such an enjoyable trip!! 😀

Small group Venice Walking Tour from the land down under mother and son
Best guide (Sneh) who showed us the parts of Venice that most tourist may not see. Along with a wonderful history of Venice and how it became.
Then he gave us a great list of recommendations for eating and best gelato which we tried three of his recommendations since the tour and can rate them highly.

Amazing tour!
This tour was absolutely incredible! It ended up just being the four of us and Levi was an amazing tour guide. What we loved most is that we got to choose amongst many (so many!) options at each location. Levi was great at explaining what everything was and we were really able to customize it to our taste. Levi was also so friendly and funny! At each stop we enjoyed wine, spritzes and and delicious food. I would highly recommend this tour and Levi in particular!

Wonderful tour
A full tour of great information and tidbits I wouldn’t have gotten if going on my own! Our tour guide with Walks of Europe was amazing!! As with all tours in foreign countries, I suggest taking time before going to listen to podcasts or audios of their accent while speaking English. I did well but my son had a hard time understanding them

Perfect
Loved the small group (3 couples) experience, food, wine & spritz was a perfect introduction to Venice. Our guide was friendly and very knowledgeable about the specialty appetizers, wine & spritz, but also about the culture and history of the area. We loved this tour!

Murano & Burano Tour
Great experience. Murano’s glass blowing experience was very informative and interesting, even for kids.
Burano was very scenic and pretty with all its colorful houses. If you like lace and embroidery or want to take home a unique piece, make sure you shop around!
One thing to keep in mind is that the boat you travel on is not a vaporetto or speed boat, it’s much slower so you do spend quite a bit of time on the water.

Tone was a great tour...
Tone was a great tour guide. He took us to some great places and explained the different types of food we were trying and made suggestions on what drinks (not included, purchased separately) would go well. We made 5 stops. Our family of 5 all really enjoyed the 1st stop at Alla Fonda which is a very rare occurrence for all of us to like something. And of course we all loved the last stop for gelato that is made right on location. I especially loved that Tone had a book he used to show us the history of how Venice started and the foundation system. I enjoyed this so much I thought about booking another food tour the next day, but we just didn't have enough time.

A great get it done in a day tour
This was the perfect way to see the top sights of St Marks cathedral and the doge’s palace. In addition the virtual reality was very cool. What a great way to experience the Venice of yesteryear. I loved the part where you were aboard a Venetian galleon.
We probably would have never gone to the corera museum but we figured why not since it was included? We hat a find! The museum is housed in a Hapsburg palace so it was quite a treat.
We weren’t about to visit Venice without the obligatory gondola ride and it was fun!
Our guide was very knowledgeable and kept a good pace

Day to the Venice lagoons
It was a good excursion to a Murano and Burano . Little crowded and minor delays. Our tour guide David spoke the most and told us entire history of Venice and even walked group to get a cookie in Burano. Went the extra mile for sure. Never did the third island and really not recommended. Burano was worth staying on longer!!!

Our boat guide Tommaso...
Our boat guide Tommaso was there waiting for us at the Meeting Point. He gave us a wonderful tour around the island and we got some Proseco and sodas fir the kids. Beautiful Venetian sunset. He gave us a lot of information about the history of everything we saw. One of our favorite activities on this trip!
