Ghosts and murder yours are something we always look for when we travel. It was fun and extremely interesting. Anna made it perfect. She was amazing and has a great personality and passion for what she does. The thunderstorm weather added to the tour too. Highly recommended thank you

I chose this tour so I can have opportunity to explore Venice during night time but it was till bright during the tour. The ghost stories are ok. I think it would’ve been better if the tour took place after the sun down.

Annalise was fantastic and the stories were well told. It was great to see and hear about Venice from a true Venetian. Highly recommend but be prepared for walking and steps. The hidden places had fantastic views and not crowded with tourists

Anna was a great guide! She gave us both local lore and legends while also giving general city history which was helpful in giving more perspective to Venice. While we heard spooky stories she kept between the stories light, which is great for people traveling with partners who don’t want a super grim and dark tour.

Expect a nice evening stroll about 1.5 miles in total over 90 minutes. Valentina told us 6 special legends/ghost stories. She also provided cultural insights, and is an engaging story teller! She is Venetian and very passionate about sharing the areas history.

Tour guide was very sweet and communicated very well, was helpful and funny…but the tour is more of history and explanation of venice architecture than its is a ghost tour.

My group thoroughly enjoyed the tour. Flavia was super nice and engaging. She walked and an easy pace and showed us out of the way places with interesting historical lore. If you’d like to stroll the streets of Venice at night while being entertained, I highly recommend this activity.

We chose to take this tour on our first visit and, our first night in Venice. Serena was our fabulous local tour guide who had a great way of sharing information and engaging historical stories about people and the places that we visited. We were the only 2 travellers for this tour that night and so recognize that we were fortunate to have a more personalized experience. Serena took us to areas that we would not otherwise have seen and this actually helped us to feel more confident in later exploring the city independently. She also provided us with very helpful information about the city including how to navigate our way around Venice using the vaporettos. Overall, this was a highly memorable way for us to begin our stay in Venice. Thank you Serena! We would highly recommend both this tour guide and this tour as one to prioritize when visiting Venice.

We really enjoyed this tour! Our guide Anna was wonderful, a fantastic storyteller who brought Venice’s history and legends to life. She took us to several hidden areas with incredible views that we would never have discovered on our own. The stories we learned were both fascinating and chilling, adding a whole new dimension to the city after dark. You can really feel her passion and deep connection as a true Venetian. A fantastic tour around the quiet and narrow streets of Venice hearing stories of its dark and deadly past. Our guide Anna was wonderful, informative and just fun to be with on this 90 minute walking history tour. I would strongly recommend.

If you are looking for a way to see the "dark side" of Venice, look no further! My husband and I took the Ghost, Murder, and Mysterious Tales of San Marco tour, and it was easily the highlight of our trip.
Our guide, Annalise, was absolutely incredible. She has such a charming personality that immediately made us feel at home, even as she was leading us into the city’s most eerie corners. You can tell she really loves the history of Venice, but she delivers it with a flair for the dramatic that keeps you hanging on every word.
