Denis was a fabulous guide and the food tour exposed us to foods we would not normally try on our own. He also took us to places we might not have found and even one place we had walked into earlier and walked out because we couldn’t tell what the food was. However, it turned out to be one of our best stops. In addition, to all the great food, Denis was a wealth of knowledge of Venice and was very helpful when it came to other questions regarding the area . Would highly recommend this tour.

Our tour guide for the Venice street food tour set a nice pace for the tour. She shared interesting facts about the area, restaurants, and foods we tried. She was a great tour guide!

A fabulous food tour, tasting original cichetti (and ice cream) at places the locals go to. Our guide Elizabeth is a local and knowlegeable, as well as being funny and friendly.

We had just arrived to Venice. Our first experience was with Chantel and our tour mates. She was very welcoming and knowledgeable. She gave us brief overviews of each area; historical background and fun facts. The food stops were great and Chantel was very thoughtful about our food allergies. Each stop gave us a taste of Venice. We could not have asked for a better way to start our Venetian adventure.

Our guide Chantal was easy to follow and brought us to a good variety of Venetian food. We got to walk through different districts of Venice. I enjoyed everything we tried. My favorite part was the gelato at the end of the tour!

Dennis loves to show tourists small but wonderfull places to eat in Venice. My son 10 years old liked the foot as well. We would have never seen these corners of Venice. Highly recommanded with a passionate tour-guide like Dennis.

The street food tour was a great way to see a side of Venice outside the top tourist spots! Every stop was local authentic food that we would not have otherwise thought to try. Our tour guide Lizzy was the absolute best, super friendly and knowledgeable. We would highly recommend this tour to anyone traveling to Venice. Lizzy is a local Venetian who is fluent in 4 languages and loves her city! 10/10 great experience

Tony, our guild, was so good. He was informative and helped us understand what Venice was all about. He took us on a grand walking tour of some of the back we would have never seen.

Alysa_J, May 2026
Elizabeth was an amazing tour guide, all of her insights were super interesting as someone who’s been to Venice a few times. All the food was amazing and had my favorite spritz ever with the cichetti.
Judith_K, May 2026
Very interesting mix of food and history of food in Venice. Our tour guide was very good making suggestions for all different palettes. Would recommend this tour
Eileen_G, May 2026
We missed our original water taxi and tried to find the group but they just kept moving and could not catch up… they waited 15 min to message us their location so we did not get to do the tour. They weren’t very helpful either to people who had never been here before.
Brian_B, May 2026
Enjoy the local food scene upon arrival in Venice to know some of the best foods, in the area (cuttlefish).
Mikayla was an outstanding tour guide who added personal experiences from her home country.
Russell_W, May 2026
Intense walking tour that visits 5 food vendors. Wide variety of foods available to try. We were able to try foods we never had before.
Zenia_P, May 2026
I thought the whole experience was amazing. We were lucky to have a great guide, clearly proud of her city and full of knowledge about it. Chantal was always happy to answer questions, which made the tour very interesting.
Another plus was having a diverse group of people from several different places, a great way to exchange information about each other’s countries and cultures.
The food was good and no doubt the samples gave us a great idea of Venetian cicchetti, their version of Spanish tapas.
I would recommend this tour to food lovers and also to curious travelers.

We loved this activity for the first day in Venice. We tried foods that we wouldn’t had. Ana was very accommodating to those in the group with food allergies. There are two scheduled bathroom breaks. It’s a good introduction to Venice.
Nicholas_L, Apr 2026
Toni was great. Very informative, great local knowledge and brilliant food. Couldn’t recommend more highly.
Samantha_J, Apr 2026
Really loved this tour. All the food was amazing and also got some interesting facts about Venice and the local area. My allergies were also able to be catered for. Took our kids ages 11 and 13 and they also loved it. Highly recommend!
Terry_K, Apr 2026
Its well worth it. The guide was fun (Ana, loads of commentry and fun to be with) and told us all about the different foods at each stop. Different choices available to suit your tastes. We did 5 stops and one extra with the artichoke man, very interesting watching him work and her telling us about what they make with all the parts. Fish market was amazing to look around. I would say go early on in the day to miss the crowds and the fish market closes at 1pm so if you go later you wont see it on the tour. And definitely would be crazy on a Saturday with the weekend visitors. Lots to see on the tour and finished with superb Gelato. Cant recommend it enough. Interesting stories about the doorway and the bricks you see in the pictures.
