Denis was a fabulous guide and the food tour exposed us to foods we would not normally try on our own. He also took us to places we might not have found and even one place we had walked into earlier and walked out because we couldn’t tell what the food was. However, it turned out to be one of our best stops. In addition, to all the great food, Denis was a wealth of knowledge of Venice and was very helpful when it came to other questions regarding the area . Would highly recommend this tour.

Our tour was wonderful. Our guide was knowledgeable about Venice and the food scene and the history of Venice. I was with my teenaged son who didn’t care for the sardines (which we ate several times) but still found plenty of options. Highly recommend!

So much great food that I wouldn’t have thought to try on my own. Denys was a fantastic guide with a lot of information and good recommendations.

Great food tour led by Vanessa! There were five stops - four where we sampled various cicchetti and the final one where we got some gelato. Plenty of food and variety for various dietary needs. Vanessa was outstanding as a guide. She gave us plenty of tips and recommendations for our trip which the group really appreciated. Highly recommend for anyone new to Venice that wants a unique food and cultural experience.

Local guide was full of information. Good group. Loved the fish market. And the food experience was top-notch.

Awesome experience. This is my 7th trip to Venice and I wish I would have done this tour the first time. Learned a lot!

The local insights to Venetian foods and drinks let enjoy flavors we’d never thought to try. Fantastic!

We had a great experience with Tone! It was just the two of us with him and we are happy we did it because we wouldn’t have gone to some of these places otherwise. Nice to also get a history lesson of places we passed by as well.

Vanessa was a knowledgable and entertaining guide. We went on this tour on our first night in Venice and it was a fantastic introduction to local culture and cuisine. Highly recommend to all!

Denys was incredible! He was so warm and thoughtful throughout the tour. There were some people in the group with some challenging food preferences and he found something everywhere for them and pivoted with all the requests. He was funny and engaging. The food itself was excellent and a great introduction to cicchetti (Venetian tapas) and was so unique. Definitely good quantity for the price with vegetarian and loads of pescatarian options. We traveled off the main tourist areas and it was wonderful. I would absolutely book again!

It was quite frantic and rushed. The tour guide was knowledgeable but had definitely grown jaded after leading the tour so many times. Older people will struggle to keep up, we did this in the off season so there were way fewer people and we were walking at a pretty brisk pace. There is no bathroom until over an hour in and no option to sit as the places are quite small.

Tony was an excellent guide, he was frriendly and knowledgeable. The tour was the perfect introduction to both the city and its food. We seemed to eat a lot, all of which was delicious and also discovered the joy of Select Spritze and cichet! Highly recommend this tour as it’s enhanced our trip.

Tour was a nice intro to Venice. We enjoyed the food presented. It was fun to see different parts of Venice.
Monica_S, Dec 2025
Tone lead us through the winding streets of Venice providing interesting facts en route to delicious Venetian treats. Each stop was wonderful, with different tastes to choose from, and very large servings. We thoroughly enjoyed it!
Lisa_S, Dec 2025
I definitely recommend this tour! Learned a few things about the city we wouldn’t have known or noticed otherwise. Our guide Denys was very friendly and made sure everyone was included.
Patricia_S, Nov 2025
Small bites scattered around Venice. Definitely felt off the beaten path. Chantel did a great job. Enjoyed walking through the fish market and vegetable market.
Erik_S, Nov 2025
Brief history of cuisines and journey through the city! Wonderful history and culture, friendly tour guide, Tone!
Darlene_W, Nov 2025
Great introduction to Venice food. Loved all the different stops. Tone was very informative and organized. He worked well with the food vendors and also moved our group around smoothly and efficiently.

Vanessa was the best! She is very knowledgeable about Venetian food and culture. She made sure to ask about any food allergies and specific likes and dislikes before we started! Each location selected offered great options. Great guide, great food, great price! I would highly recommend it!

Tone was a wonderful guide. Informative, friendly, and happy to chat. He took us to some lovely spots, and always had interesting facts to share.
I'd 100% recommend

It’s a great afternoon out exploring Venice. The food is good but just exploring and hearing about the history of Venice was sooo good! Highly recommended.
Christine_L, Oct 2025
It was really fun walking around and tasting different food and drinks. However, some of the shops ran out of stuff I wanted to taste.
Lindsay_B, Oct 2025
We booked this last minute, and it was one of the best choices of the trip. We had amazing street food that we wouldn’t have otherwise tried, along with some history of Venice. It’s so worth the price of the ticket. I highly recommend this tour to anyone looking to the food that isn’t pizza and pasta.
Karen_N, Oct 2025
A great way to experience Venetian street food. Laid back tour, with lots of options to meet individual preferences and dietary requirements. For example my 11 year old isn’t a fan of seafood, there were plenty of other things he could try.
Rebecca_R, Oct 2025
Our tour guide Tony ess great. He had lots of history of Venice and the food. Highly recommend this tour.
Mark_P, Sep 2025
Should be willing to try different unique local foods that are not typical to our knowledge or understanding. Seafood very kind are the main food fair. Tour was good for learning about different areas of the city. Considering the number of people in our group, we were all served quickly learned food, terminology, and drink terminology.
Anastasia_T, Sep 2025
What a wonderful experience. Small group tour with fun and historical facts while stopping by 5 places for delicious cicchetti. Our tour guide was sweet and enjoyable. Thank you for the memories and great suggestions.

My niece and I had a great time on the tour with Ana through Venice. There was plenty of food and Ana gave us choices at every stop and took the time to explain each cicchetti and recommend the most authentic or a different option. Though they say they'll wait 10 minutes to begin the tour, we arrived about 5 minutes late (lost in Venice!) and the group was gone. We did get in touch and were able to meet at the first stop and Ana caught us up - no problem. Also, we chose this tour because it promised "markets," and thought that may be different. We only stood by the empty fish market. A better name/description might be "Eat Like a Venetian!" The tour was all about the food, not too much information about Venice beyond that, though Ana was very knowledgeable about the food and we left FULL! At the last stop we could choose 2 from about 10 different cicchetti. All looked delicious!
Bernie_T, Sep 2025
Great guide and great food experience. Ana was knowledgeable about the individual vendors and the local food options, and shared interesting local stories.
