Small disappointment but overall excellent!

Marco was a wonderful tour guide, so much information and a good sense of humor. Doges palace was fascinating! The only disappointment was our gondola ride. Our gondolier really didn’t speak to us at all and we kind of jokingly asked if he was going to sing to us and he just said NO and then didn’t tell to us or tell us any information on the ride at all. The gondola ride was very short also - not as expected but the tour overall was really fantastic.

We had one full day to...

We had one full day to sightsee and this was the perfect tour for it. I enjoyed the morning tour of doge and the basilica. The guide Eliza had a lot of great stories and made the tour interesting. The afternoon tour to burano and murano was Also worth the visit, if anything, just to see the artisans in action. Burano also makes for great photos. Our afternoon guide Nicole was very engaging and made the boat ride feel short.

Perfect first day in Venice tour! You will learn about the culture, the neighborhoods and local food and drink. Then spend the rest of your time in Venice choosing those areas you enjoyed the best. I read other reviews saying you would need dinner afterwards as these are just tastings…no way! We were both so full and had 5 drinks along the way! This all inclusive tour was fantastic and we highly recommend it. Thank you to Giovanna for a local perspective with tons of knowledge and she clearly is passionate about being a local Venetian.

Amazing Walking Tour Guide!

Our walking tour guide, Sherry, was amazing. She was very interesting and easy for me to understand. She gave interesting facts and was so genuinely kind. We would recommend her and give her 10 stars if we could. The gondola ride was nice on the location, going understand the Bridge of Sighs and through the back side waterways. However, it would have been nice to have a gondola ride with more personalty and facts to share. Ours was Tommy, and he just didnt talk or share any facts as we floated. Some of the gondola guides did though because we could hear them when we passed. He was super nice though and it was a beautiful ride.

Highly Recommended Tour

Great experience! Our tour guide was very knowledgeable and extremely friendly! We toured the city at a relaxed pace and had time to relax at a small shop for a drink. The gondola driver was friendly and answered any questions we had during our ride. The tour guide even assisted us with a water taxi to help get us to our train on time! Highly recommend.

Great tour and very enjoyable

Roberta was a wonderful tour guide on a very interesting tour. Doge place and the basilica were beautiful and Roberta give us lots of great information. The gondola ride was lovely and quiet and a much needed sit down after the palace. Roberta also took us around the quieter areas of Venice. In all a very enjoyable day helped by a very informative guide, and it was a nice small group too which makes a difference. Well organised and recommended 🤩

The only way to truly meet the Queen of the Adriatic…

Our time in Venice was very limited (two days) so we wanted to prioritize getting to know and understand the city and her stories. The tour guided by Lorenzo was the perfect choice for us—he quickly assessed our interests and proceeded to give us a 90 minute guided tour of the city, both the stories behind the well known sites (like the Rialto bridge) as well as taking us into tiny alleyways and passages to get a feel for the Venezia that few tourists ever see. After 90 minutes learning the history, the legends, and the present day realities of the city, we stepped into a gondola that took us so quietly through the canals as the sunset faded and the lights of Venice turned on around us. This tour was a splurge for us, but there is only one Queen in Venice and this is the perfect guide to introduce you. I would do do this again in a heartbeat and recommend it to anyone coming to visit who wants to step outside the main tourist routes and try being Venetian for an evening.

St. Mark’s Basilica is Stunning!

St. Mark’s Basilica is breathtaking both outside and inside. The Byzantine influence on the architecture and mosaic art was a surprise and makes sense now that I understand the history of St Mark the Evangelist and his connections to Constantinople . Stunning mosaics dominate the artwork. This small group tour with Rita was wonderful . She is incredibly knowledgeable about the history, art, architecture, and religious traditions associated with the Basilica. She pointed out particularly important things to photograph & gave us time to do so. I highly recommend the small group tour with Rita.

Great tour but lacks accommodations

This was a fantastic tour of Doge palace with a gondola ride. Our guide was wonderful. We also did Venice events to compare with this touring company. Venice events is a little more friendly and has Korean speaking guides. The lady at check-in wasn’t so nice. It’s a customer service and they don’t let you use the toilets at the location before leaving for this long tour. Venice events let us and they have the cutest dog at the office named Millie!!!

Most beautiful thing in Venice

I would recommend this to every single person that comes to Venice, it’s really a once-in-a-lifetime experience no one should ever miss. It’s five of us so we have two gondolas, my husband and myself together with son on the gondola that has musicians and my mum and in-law on the other one, they can clearly hear the songs and took lots of wonderful video. The musicians are great player and singer, it’s one of our best if not the best-best memory of Italy! I would say it’s something you can really feel how wonderful and dreamy this city it!
