Even with some rain we had a great time. The meet up location is very central, right next to Rialto bridge, and it is easy to find. There were no lines (we saw some very long ones at other gondola pick ups) and we even took our time taking pictures before the tour started.

It’s our gondolier, JP was amazing. It truly made our experience very memorable. He sang to us. He also pointed out all the important points of interest. It was really a very lovely experience.

It is recommended to do it first and last time. Interesting experience to be but there are too many gondolas even outside of season (beginning of November), as the result gondolas were few time in "traffic jam". Still it is nice experience

Our group of 12 folks reserved three gondolas for one hour at Sunset! It’s the way to go! Less crowded and cooler! Our gondoliers were a hoot! We made beautiful memories and got some great photographs!

Unfortunately this was a bad experience for us as the tour operator did not show up. We waited where we were instructed to meet for over 40 minutes in the heat for someone to appear. We had no other option than to cancel our tour and request a refund.

Lovely experience just slowly floating through the Venetian canals and seeing all the buildings
Our gondola operator was friendly and pointed out a couple of areas of interest and we drifted onto the grand canal recommendation easy footwear and comfortable clothing as you have to negotiate getting into and out of the gondola not for somebody that has great difficulty walking or standing

Gondola driver was great. He softly sang and whistled a good amount of the time. He pointed out a few items and conversed with the other gondola drivers.
Only downside, it was only 30 minutes not 40 minutes as advertised.

Terrible 😞. We got to Venice and it was raining and windy so no gondolas were working. I called Viator to get a refund but they said since it was not cancelled before the 24 hours I could not have a refund. I was told to show up at the boat launch at the time the trip was booked. I went to the site and no one showed up but still haven't heard anything about my refund. Very dissatisfied

We would HIGHLY recommend NOT prebooking a Gondola ride. They are plentiful and less expensive here than prebooking.
Our personal experience was very disappointing. The Gondolier was disinterested in us or being with us. He spoke to us only three times to point out the obligatory things.
We booked a 40 minute private Gondola ride that said it would include singing. It did not. There were other Gondeliers that were happy, engaged, some were singing. When I asked our Gondelier about it, he told me he was a driver. He would not sing. And the extra 10 minutes was about another $80.
He was young, and unlike all the other Gondeliers who all wear stripped long sleeve shirts, he wore a short sleeve shirt to show off his tatoos.
Our Gondola, number 217, was not cared for; most are very shiny, bright, decorated. Ours was not, the cushions were old, there was no decoration, the typically bright and shiny pieces were patinaed and uncared for.
It's not worth prebooking. And stay away from Gondola 217.

Amazing experience on the Gondola. The staff were extremely helpful and friendly. We had to change our time and the staff were very accommodating. The rider with us was friendly and gave us a mini tour of the surrounding.

The ride itself was beautiful! Our gondolier was excellent! He was very helpful and answered questions throughout our ride!
Honestly, the only downside is I believe we could have walked up to the stand, gotten a private ride for a better rate than what we paid online to have a reservation! There are a ton of available gondolas in Venice!

It was lovely to see the architecture but the Gondolier was on the phone all the time and gave us no explanation of where we were or what we were seeing. He only pointed out 1 place which was Mozart’s house and only if I asked specific questions did he pay attention to his customers

Don’t waste your money. Paid £160 to go around on a gondola expecting a guided tour after reading other peoples reviews saying they had a good time. Ours was rubbish. The person steering the boat was on the phone the entire time so just talked through our ride. So we couldn’t even enjoy it. Wait till you arrive in Venice and walk around to find a guided tour. Don’t preboom

This was a fantastic way to start my time in Venice. My gondolier was amazing and shared some history as we went. He also let me simply sit and enjoy and take it all in. I do wish this were more price friendly for solo travelers, but the private ride is absolutely the way to go.

We took the gondola ride bout 9:30 in the morning, when the canals have less tragic. The experience was great and we got some excellent pictures. Our guide was so skilled at maneuvering the boat. This is a must in Venice!

The gondola ride we booked was 40 minutes. It was 25 minutes from start to finish on the gondola. When you check in they start the time not when you are on the gondola. Don’t leave the gondola without getting your 40 minutes. We complained to the man in charge but the captain already took off with the next passenger . Ruined the experience unfortunately.

The gondola ride itself was very nice. The loading area was incredibly hectic. We were present 10-15 minutes early but due to the crowd and poor organization we didn't get onto a gondola until about 10 minutes after our time. It ended on time which made it a 35 minute ride. This is much more expensive then just walking up the to dock and booking one. Our friends did this and paid significantly less (120 euro).

We booked a 45 minutes narrated tour ( paid $ 206) and we only got 25 minutes and no narration. I requested partial refund and they decided it. I was taking advantage of and they don’t really care.

Incredible. Seeing the patina on the beautiful river homes, ironwork, architecture all while our gondollier did an amazing job navigating. You have to do this trip. Absolutely loved it.
