Don't hesitate to book this service if you're looking to enjoy a complete gondola experience with music on board in Venice. Having music on board exclusively for us made all the difference. We didn't share the gondola with anyone, just my partner and I. It took me a long time to decide, search, and compare, and I definitely chose the best service! Booked the serenade for our group and my sisters birthday and it did not disappoint. Between songs he sang happy birthday in English and Italian. It was perfect.

I would recommend this to every single person that comes to Venice, it’s really a once-in-a-lifetime experience no one should ever miss. It’s five of us so we have two gondolas, my husband and myself together with son on the gondola that has musicians and my mum and in-law on the other one, they can clearly hear the songs and took lots of wonderful video. The musicians are great player and singer, it’s one of our best if not the best-best memory of Italy! I would say it’s something you can really feel how wonderful and dreamy this city it!

Our contact Alicia who took us to our gondola was so patient, we had a mix group of elderly and young, she was very accommodating The experience once we arrived at Gondola was awesome as well the singing was so great we travel on two gondolas and we all felt inclusive

We were met promptly by the representative who brought us to the gondola ride. Having a singer and musician greatly enhances the experience—it is a must. The only reason for it not receiving 5 stars was due to our party being too big for one gondola, the boat with the singer was often too far away from us to fully enjoy the experience. Our driver tried to get the other driver to stop and wait but it didn’t always happen. For groups larger than 3 you need to know this in advance..and the drivers need to ensure the boats will always be close when singing is happening.

I had a once in a lifetime experience on a gondola being serenaded. The musicians were wonderful and waiting for us. We had the best time with people all around us and watching from bridges to hear the Italian singer. Would not hesitate to do it again.

This was a perfect way to celebrate our 42nd anniversary. How much better does it get than having someone singing and using toothpicks in plastic jars as an accompaniment to a guitar player!

Excellent but overpriced

The ride was incredible! People recording us from bridges and other gondolas. It only doesn’t get 5 stars because of the price. I would gladly pay the $500 if the money went to the people, but it doesn’t. A walk-up gondola ride is $90, and the 2 musicians didn’t get even a fraction of the remaining $400, so the company is severely up-charging and pocketing the profits to add music.

I reserve this tour for my family. 4 adults and 2 babies, 4 years old. I consider it expensive but I want they have the experience of the singing in the gondola. When we arrive we were separated in 2 gondolas and one doesn’t have music. It was a huge disappointment. If they have told me I wouldn't have reserve it.

Favorite experience in Venice!

This was one of our favorite experiences in Venice! We were met at a easy to find spot by the guide, walked to the gondola and the fun began! The musicians were excellent! The ride lasted about 30 minutes. We travelled down the side “streets” and down central. Everyone around us enjoyed as well! Highly recommend!
