What are people saying about Venice

St Marks Basilica an Doges Palace experience
Our guide was wonderful! We found him to be very informative and charismatic. So much history about the Venetian people - involving both religion, political hierarchy, art and architecture. He has lived in Venice all his life and was very knowledgeable and kept us engaged. Thank you again :) Nancy & Doug

Amazing Venice...
We met for our tour at Saint Mark's Square and there we were introduced to our tour guide Claire.
The tour group was over 20 people, but she asked everyone their name and remarkably remembered all the names without fail every time which was funny.
Claire gave a very detailed and enthusiastic tour of Doge's Palace and then Saint Mark's Basilica and both are amazing.
We were also given tickets to the Museo Correr to visit ourselves after our tour was over and we did so and that museum is also at Saint Mark's Square.
We loved Venice and really enjoyed the tour.
Thanks Claire from the Dublin couple.

Hidden Venice
Our guide, Michaela, was outstanding. Haven’t enjoyed a guided tour that much in a long time. Lots of information provided in an easy, structured manner. We learned so much about Venetian life, history, and the hidden places that make the city so charming. Great experience.

Time flies when you are having fun! Be flexible, but arrive with a plan in mind.
As it is a private tour, you can set the agenda and pace within the tour’s time limits, of course. It is helpful to know in advance how you would like to spend your time, whether visiting the church, watching a glass demonstration, shopping, or eating, as time passes very quickly. Please note there is no reminder about dress requirements when visiting churches, so it is best to come prepared. Remember to cover your knees and shoulders if you wish to visit religious sites.

Just do it!
Wonderful tour! We had the best time traveling to Cortina, Pieve di Cadore and the different lakes with Daniella as our guide and driver. There were 8 travellers total and we had such a nice group! We enjoyed getting to meet people from both Great Britain and the United States. The ride in the van was comfortable and we all took turns swapping seats. The tour was breathtaking with the views of the Dolomite mountains. We would highly recommend this tour and it is a great change of scenery from Venice.

Our Prosecco tour and...
Our Prosecco tour and winery experience was absolutely amazing and easily one of the highlights of our trip. The scenery, the wine, and the overall atmosphere were just incredible—but what really made it special were the people.
A quick heads up for future guests: the 9:00 AM start time means you should already be on the train at that time, not just arriving. We misunderstood this and ended up missing our train, but thankfully Julia and Carlo went above and beyond to help us rejoin the tour without missing too much. Their kindness and flexibility truly turned what could have been a stressful situation into something we could laugh about.
Beyond their amazing hospitality, we were treated to an unbelievable meal at their family-owned restaurant. The amount of food was incredibly generous, and every dish was absolutely delicious—truly out of this world.
Between the stunning wineries, the warm and welcoming hosts, and the unforgettable food and wine, this experience is one we would highly recommend to anyone visiting the region.

Dolomites: Beautiful tour!
Estefania is a great tour guide and safe driver. She is knowledgeable and tells us a lot of information as we drove past important/ historical places on the way to the Dolomites.
She accommodated our request, and used a higher van with big windows so we would not feel the motion sickness too much. I wish we could have all sat together as a family though.
The tour was worth it and would highly recommend this tour!

Don’t be Afraid of Classical Music
You don’t have to be a classical music lover to enjoy this trip back in time, through music
Traveling for the first time to Italy with friends & family. We thought getting a glimpse of old world Venice through music would be cool and it was. Don’t know anything about classical music but do know a few names of the old composers, Vivaldi is one and seeing how his “The Four Seasons” work is the most famous, and he was from Venice it made sense to go to the performance. We all had a wonderful time and the music was very engaging & lively. I think what really added to the performance, especially if you weren’t a classical music lover, was that the musicians dressed in the costumes of the period. You could imagine yourself in the 18th Century & listening to a concert of Vivaldi. We were looking for something uniquely “Venetian” and this concert fit the bill. Of course it was for “tourists” but it definitely had a different “flavor” other than the regular “tourist” things to do in Venice. We upgraded our tickets to “Skip the Line- Sit in the First Thee Rows”. It was worth it to be right up front. Like I said earlier, no one in our group was a classical music fan but we all enjoy good music whatever the genre. We heard good music & enjoyed the showmanship. It was a great activity and an end to a beautiful day in Venice.

Marco, the driver,...
Marco, the driver, defintely made this experience. Very chill and fun guy. It was an extremely good day during our tour. No traffic and good weather so Marco took us to additional stops. The drive there was beautiful and the stops we made were beautiful locations.

Venice and surrounding islands
We got a tour all the way around Venice and saw all the surrounding islands. Learned a lot about the history of each island, how Venice was built to last. It’s a very marshy area and they had to dig very deep. Amazing what they could do way back then. Highly recommend this tour! Our guide was excellent!!

Foggy but still Great
Take water with you. The pace was perfect. Beautiful area, unfortunately lots of fog, but enjoyed it anyway. Loved shopping in Cortina, could have spent another 20 minutes there. Everyone was so nice. I would take this again when the weather is better! Lunch was at the recommended restaurant and was delicious, I had the spinach gnocchi! Yum

Not seeing something you are looking for?
Pulling yourself away from Venice’s splendor can be a challenge, but this city on the sea is the perfect base for exploring the surrounding Veneto region or even further afield. Venice day trips are a seamless way to visit destinations as close as islands in the Venetian lagoon or as far as the UNESCO-listed Dolomite peaks without managing tricky logistics alone. Sip Prosecco in the Valdobbiadene vineyards, admire iconic sports cars in the Motor Valley museums or discover Veneto gems like Verona and Lake Garda with hassle-free transportation directly from Venice.
