Great Tour with Gluten Free options at restaurants in Misurina
Carlo was our tour guide and he was fantastic! Very informative and knowledgeable about the region. We enjoyed the drive, looking at all the scenery in the air-conditioned van. It was a welcomed relief from the intense heat in Venice we’ve had this week. The sites and views were breathtaking and the outdoor temperatures were much better than the Venice heat. We spent two hours in Misurina and walked around the lake. Then enjoyed a delicious homemade lunch at a farm nearby that Carlo recommended. It was an excellent choice! Lunch was not included as described in the tour, but that was no worry. The farm even had gluten-free options, which was amazing for two people in our group. Then a stop in Cortina to see the Olympic rings and the ski slopes used for this past Winter Olympics. Photos are beautiful. Dolomites were breathtaking and majestic.

A Perfect Day in Prosecco!
Fantastic experience! The excursion was a small group. There were two ther couples plus us. Carlo was an amazing host: attentive, funny, and accommodating. The van is comfortable, spacious, and the A/C works great. Our first stop at Nani Rizzi was outstanding. The facility is beautiful, and the prosecco is scrumptious. Lunch was at Antica Osteria, where both the food and the patio were perfect. Our second winery was Mon Ban, a boutique producer of natural wine. While the wines were not to my particular tastes, the setting and views were breathtaking and definitely worth the trip. This trip was an absolute highlight in our vacation to Italy.

We went with Matteo and Gianpietro and had a great experience. Scenery was beautiful and the places we visited were really nice. Matteo had great knowledge of the area and history and was funny and engaging. We recommend going to the restaurant with Matteo, I personally like the spatzle and prosecco.

Fun, informative, and excellent tour!!
Great tour! Mr Alex was a fantastic tour guide and informative…and entertaining too!! I loved that we didn’t need to wear earbuds and a transponder for the tour. We particularly liked that we had a private boat for this tour specifically. We really enjoyed going to Burano, wished we could have had more time to explore the beautiful island. Overall it was a great private tour and would highly recommend!!!

A must do while in Venice!
Stefania was a wonderful guide on our Dolomites excursion. She gave us such great insights and facts about the region and its history along our journey. She made our journey throughout the day incredible and incredibly easy. This experience has been the highlight of our trip thus far. Can’t say enough great things about her and this trip!

The terrace option is worth it!
We had some disappointing tours in Rome, but thankfully this one was great. The terrace access was excellent. Our tour guide, Mose, spoke clearly and enthusiastically. He shared interesting information and clearly loved his subject. 3 hour tours are a bit tiring, but this one was worth it!

Giovanni was an amazing guide! I could not recommend him more. He was funny, engaging, and knowledgeable. My kids, who don't usually like tour guides, also loved him. There is always pressure from the glass making factory to buy something, but never any pressure from the guide. If you want to buy something, the quality is outstanding. If not, it is fine to decline.

Insightful and enjoyable
Excellent tour, Michela our guide was knowledgeable, helpful and polite, highlighted everything from WWII, Mussolini and Napoleon to modern day venician life.
I wouldn't recommend if you struggle with bridges as we crossed many, other wise well worth the trip.

Amazing tour! Skipping...
Amazing tour! Skipping the lines was great, but our guide Liza (“like Liza Minnelli”) made it unforgettable. She was funny, knowledgeable, and full of great insights about both the Doge’s Palace and St. Mark’s Basilica. One of the best tours we’ve taken in Italy.

Great Dolomites Experience!
Diego was an excellent guide who shared lots of interesting information about the region, Italian culture, and our stops. There were lots of photo stops along the way and he planned the stops around the inclement weather, which allowed us to maximize our experience.

Learn a lot!
A fun way to notice details of Doge Palace and St. Marks Basilica, a backpacker walk and gondola ride with a scheduled break for lunch that isn't rushed. Our tour guide, Natalia was interesting, told great stories to help you remember facts and lots of "secrets". You would enjoy her!

Don’t be Afraid of Classical Music
You don’t have to be a classical music lover to enjoy this trip back in time, through music
Traveling for the first time to Italy with friends & family. We thought getting a glimpse of old world Venice through music would be cool and it was. Don’t know anything about classical music but do know a few names of the old composers, Vivaldi is one and seeing how his “The Four Seasons” work is the most famous, and he was from Venice it made sense to go to the performance. We all had a wonderful time and the music was very engaging & lively. I think what really added to the performance, especially if you weren’t a classical music lover, was that the musicians dressed in the costumes of the period. You could imagine yourself in the 18th Century & listening to a concert of Vivaldi. We were looking for something uniquely “Venetian” and this concert fit the bill. Of course it was for “tourists” but it definitely had a different “flavor” other than the regular “tourist” things to do in Venice. We upgraded our tickets to “Skip the Line- Sit in the First Thee Rows”. It was worth it to be right up front. Like I said earlier, no one in our group was a classical music fan but we all enjoy good music whatever the genre. We heard good music & enjoyed the showmanship. It was a great activity and an end to a beautiful day in Venice.

Pulling yourself away from Venice’s splendor can be a challenge, but this city on the sea is the perfect base for exploring the surrounding Veneto region or even further afield. Venice day trips are a seamless way to visit destinations as close as islands in the Venetian lagoon or as far as the UNESCO-listed Dolomite peaks without managing tricky logistics alone. Sip Prosecco in the Valdobbiadene vineyards, admire iconic sports cars in the Motor Valley museums or discover Veneto gems like Verona and Lake Garda with hassle-free transportation directly from Venice.
