Murano and Burano tour
Private tour. Just my wife and I. Overall a good experience. Giulia was a local and very experienced in sharing culture and history. We loved her recommendations for food and where to spend our free time on Burano. Our Private water taxi driver was helpful in providing a timely and comfortable experience. Murano glass blowing was interesting to see, but felt pressure to purchase glass after the demonstration. Guess because we were in a private tour…. Burano was a beautiful island providing alot of food options and pictures.

This tour will not show...
This tour will not show you the typical tourist attractions, however, if you want to see less visited canals, alleys, etc., and get recommendations for places where the locals eat, this is a good tour for you. We also visited what was historically the Jewish ghetto, which was quite interesting.

Mother daughter adventure
My daughter and I had the most wonderful time. She is 10. She loved the snowmobile ride and sledding (we did the one from the bottom part). Highly suggest doing this if you’re with kids. Be sure to bundle up and wear layers if coming in the winter months. Recommend snow pants (or backup pants) if you want to sled. We also loved lake Braes! Stefania is amazing!!!!

Great tour in Venice!!
This tour was wonderful. Our tour guide Claire was amazing and made the experience so enjoyable. She had so much knowledge to share and she was so entertaining. Claire remembered everyone’s name which I thought was amazing and something special. We got to see the locations for a good amount of time. I’m so glad we did the tour. It was well worth the money for such a great experience. I would absolutely recommend.

Beautiful tour! The boat tour was perfect. The bakery is amazing. Loved the glassblowing demo and 50% at their shop.
We also had time to stop for espresso in Murano and for Chicetti on the water in Burano. The tour guide Allegra gave a great suggestion about where to go.
In March it was warm in the morning and then a bit cool on the water. Make sure you wear jackets on cooler days.

Best day of our trip!
What an amazing day with our guide Maximo! The entire trip was planned so well. Regular bathroom breaks were perfectly timed with stops in picturesque towns, natural beauties, and man made phenomena. Maximo was very knowledgeable and taught us a lot about the area, traditions and history. We stopped regularly to take photos in the most beautiful locations along the way. We went up a ski lift to the top of a mountain for even better views and pictures. I highly recommend this tour to anyone visiting Venice. It gives you a fuller picture of this area and its history.

We had Phillipo as our tour guide. He was outstanding!!! So funny and so knowledgeable. I was highly impressed with how much he knew about the history of Venice. He was also very welcoming and kind. I would highly recommend this tour for a full experience of the Doge Palace and Basilica, but most importantly I would recommend it with Phillipo as your tour guide if you’re able to ask for a specific person!!

Excellent tour of the Dolomites
Excellent private tour for family with Max, who has been doing this for 20+ years, a professional on the road, safety first, efficient, and knows the traffic patterns like clockwork, and kept us on time to be able to enjoy Cortina (during the Olympics), 3 beautiful mountain lakes, and additional stops based on time and our interest and his own vast experience of the mountains. The day is long (8 am to 6 pm) to accommodate all the sites. This is a must do if in Venice, and balances out the congestion of city life and usual city tours with the beauty of the surrounding natural world. The Dolomites are astounding. Traveling through the excellent Italian infrastructure was a gorgeous and safe ride. We were there in mid-February, so the terrain is snow covered, and has its wintery charm (summer and fall will have its own beauty and colors), we lucked out with a crystal sunny day to enjoy the mountain peaks. The stop for lunch at one of the lakes was well-timed. It is at your own cost, just as any other snacks or souvenirs along the way are. We highly recommend this tour to anyone staying 3 or more days in Venice - this is definitely worth one of those days.

Perfect after dinner show
We had a fantastic time in Venice. We were looking for a type of show which captures a bit of elegance. Adding classical music and a bit of opera after dinner. The costumes and performers were fantastic! Get there early if you have a seating preference as it in chairs lined no stadium seating so if you are shorter sighting may be limited and if you arrive later with company you may not be able to sit together. Just as an FYI

Rafaelle and his Staff...
Rafaelle and his Staff ran a great tour of the sites of Venice, explaining to us the history of the city and showing the main sites St Marks, the Rialto Bridge, the shortcuts through the winding alleyways and of course a fantastic gondola ride through the canals. Time well spent

Worth the travel glitch.
We had a hiccup with the train. I will go into more detail later. If you haven’t mastered Italian trains, maybe pick a different operator. It’s on you to get to conegliano. Although the cost of the train in included in the purchase price.
I don’t know if this tour always goes to the same stops for tasting, but Nani Rizzi is a great place to try Prosecco. It is a lovely tasting room. And a nice patio if you prefer. We tasted 4 different proseccos. All were really nice and well priced.
Next we went to lunch at the tour guides mother in laws restaurant. It was packed but we had a Big table in a separate room. The food was so good! And wine to go with the meal. Plus optional grappa at the end. Best grappa I have ever had. As well as amazing food!
After lunch we went to a very small location. Mon Ban. Very small batch with a single operator. We enjoyed the property a little and then went in to taste. There were another 4 proseccos offered. They were all good but I preferred Nani Rizzi. We were taken back to the train station for our return to Venice.
While it was offered to mix and match Prosecco from the 2 locations to have it shipped home, it had been 4 days and not a word from Carlo the tour guide. I contact Nani myself and my order shipped the next day.
The one thing that made me hesitate to book this particular activity, was that it’s on you to get to the Conegliano train station. The cost of the tickets are included in the tour price. But out of 4 couples, only 1 got on the right train. We got to the platform nice and early only to see our train number pulling away 2 tracks over. The tour guide helped us (3 couples had the same issue) pick another train that we had to pay for. We missed the brief castle tour because 1 couple who arrived at the last minute at the train station saw the correct platform.
There had been a change in platform 5 minutes before departure. None of us speak Italian so we didn’t hear the announcement
I would still choose this tour if it includes Nani Rizzi. I can’t say enough good things about their products.

Excellent tour
🌄 A Perfect Day in the Dolomites! 🇮🇹✨
Today we explored the breathtaking Misurina Lake, often called the “Pearl of the Dolomites.” Surrounded by dramatic mountain peaks and reflected perfectly in its crystal-clear waters, it’s a scene straight out of a postcard! 💙
After soaking in the alpine beauty, we continued on to Cortina d’Ampezzo — a charming, picture-perfect village filled with cozy cafés, boutique shops, and stunning views in every direction. 🏔️☕🛍️
This region will be in the world’s spotlight soon as host of the 2026 Winter Olympics, but right now it’s a peaceful mountain escape full of Italian charm.

Pulling yourself away from Venice’s splendor can be a challenge, but this city on the sea is the perfect base for exploring the surrounding Veneto region or even further afield. Venice day trips are a seamless way to visit destinations as close as islands in the Venetian lagoon or as far as the UNESCO-listed Dolomite peaks without managing tricky logistics alone. Sip Prosecco in the Valdobbiadene vineyards, admire iconic sports cars in the Motor Valley museums or discover Veneto gems like Verona and Lake Garda with hassle-free transportation directly from Venice.
