The region of Veneto is famous for its prosecco, but it can be difficult to reach its vineyards without a car. Travel from Venice to Conegliano by train, and then hop aboard a private vehicle for a special day of wine tasting. Our day in the Prosecco Hills with Carlo was a highlight of our trip to Venice. The beautiful countryside, fantastic tastings in gorgeous settings and a delicious lunch in the family Osteria made for an exceptional day. Carlo was a charming and knowledgeable host and made the day so special. Would highly recommend this tour.

This was a wonderful day trip from Venice. Julia was amazing. The two wineries were unique and personal in different ways and the local family restaurant was delicious. Highly recommend!
This was such a great experience, our tour guide was amazing, so attentive and fun to be with. Wineries were fun, beautiful countryside and good lunch.
Carlo and Julia were fantastic by guides, this was a highlight of our trip. Lunch was fantastic and the group we were with just added to the experience. It was such a wonderful and relaxing day outside of the city with LOTS of Prosecco (from the source) and food!! Highly recommend.

We had the best time with Carlo! This was possibly my fiance's favorite day of our trip. We learned a lot about Prosecco, the grapes, and the different types of Prosecco. I finally learned the difference between brut, extra dry, etc.! We felt lucky to go on a day where they were harvesting, dropping the grapes, and then getting to see the conveyors for bottling and packaging. We also can't forget the incredible lunch! Highly recommend opting for family style at lunch. Everything was amazing and flavorful. Carlo made the whole day very easy with train tickets from Venice and meeting us with an air conditioned van. Highly recommend spending your day in the Prosecco Hills with Carlo!
What a wonderful day with Carlo! We visited 2 very different wineries and had the most delicious lunch at his family’s Osteria. I highly recommend this tour!
We had an amazing time on the wine tour with Carlo. Communication and organization with train tickets was easy. The tour itself was excellent, visiting both a larger, more modern vineyard and a small production one. Lunch was a highlight, very delicious with more wine. We stopped at a few beautiful viewpoints. Carlos was a great guide: good driver, provided lots of information about wine and the area, and was very fun and entertaining. From start to finish, it was a fantastic day and I would highly recommend this tour!
I’d highly recommend this trip. Really great communication from the organiser Carlo. The whole outing was beautiful, from the vineyards, to the tasting and the commentary on the drives. We had a delicious meal in a lovely restaurant. This is a great introduction to Prosecco and the hills
Overall was a very nice experience. They did ask me to change the date. I originally parked, which was not ideal, but didn’t really negatively impact our experience.. I see little logistics of it were handled very well. We got our train tickets when we expected them and the pick up was very smooth.. Even though I would recommend that they possibly have a sign when so that you can identify who you’re supposed to meet when you get off the train. The driver was a very nice well informed lady. She made the trip very pleasurable. The wineries we went to had great stories and taught us a lot about making Prosecco. The passion that these two wineries had four Prosecco was very obvious. And we appreciated that they obviously love their lot, their land, their grapes their vines and took great pride in their techniques. It was really nice to learn about it all. As far as the Prosecco itself, it was good, but it’s not the Prosecco we in the US know. It’s the more local version of Prosecco, which is great to experience but different than our pallets are used to.. I really appreciated how each winery cared for how they made their Prosecco when they would pick their grapes. That really turned the Prosecco making from a science to an art. I could see these wineries as chefs of Prosecco making. And understood how when they picked their grapes is key to what their wine is gonna taste like that was extremely interesting.
Superb trip well worth its money with none stop prosecco tastings, plus a fabulous lunch and scenic views in a truly lovely setting. We will be back the next time we are in the area.

We added this Prosecco Hills experience to the end of our Italian Sojourn cruise, and it was the highlight of our entire trip!

His attention to detail, deep knowledge of the region's winemakers, the winemaking process, and the wines themselves made the experience both educational and entertaining. He shared his expertise with genuine passion, making every moment informative, engaging, and fun.
The warm hospitality extended by Carlo and the winery hosts was second to none. From the moment we arrived, we felt genuinely welcomed, cared for, and thoroughly pampered. Every detail was thoughtfully arranged, allowing us to relax and fully enjoy the beauty of the Prosecco Hills and the outstanding wines.

Overall a wonderful day! Carlo was an amazing guide, very knowledgeable and passionate about the region. The meal was delicious and the setting was beautiful. I highly recommend! We had a solo traveler, my family and a couple who thoroughly enjoyed the day and felt like friends because of our guide and the experience!

A beautiful experience. Our guild was Georgia and she was an amazing guild. She was very friendly and felt less like a tour guild anf more like a friend showing us the area. The winery’s we visited were amazing and have great stories. The food we had was great. Overall 10/10 would recommend, especially Georgia. This wad my first solo travel ever and she made it feel very easy to be social.
Wonderful experience with beautiful views of the countryside. Prosecco was very good with good explanation on the differences of various Prosecco types. Lunch was awesome and your guide was excellent. Maybe my favorite tour of all time!! Highly recommend.
Beautiful views. Great guide. We learned a lot about Prosecco and enjoyed tasting several different types. If you think you might buy a bottle or two make sure to leave room in your checked bag--shipping is expensive and you have to buy at least 6 bottles to ship. Unfortunately, we did not get to enjoy the family restaurant mentioned but the food was still good. Overall worth it.
This was one of the highlights of our trip! The wineries were beautiful, the Prosecco was delicious, and lunch at the authentic local restaurant was outstanding. Everything was well organized, and everyone we met was friendly and welcoming. It was such a relaxing and memorable day in the Prosecco Hills. I would definitely recommend this tour!
Our guide was fantastic. Just the right level of history and exploration. We went to some off the path wineries that we could not have found ourselves.
This is a must do when visiting Venice. Get out of city and into beautiful prosecco country. Julia and Carlo are excellent hosts and organizers. Wonderful wineries and delicious lunch.
This was an amazing tour. We had Ricardo "little Ricky" as we named him as our driver, perfect English, and so knowledgeable. He was attentive to everyone's needs, cares, and wants. Would highly recommend!

This tour was excellent! We arrived at the train station in Venice and boarded a train for about a 50-minute ride. Carlo was waiting for us at the station when we arrived. Before starting the Prosecco tour, he offered us a beverage and gave us time to use the restroom. He also provided cold bottled water for the drive, which was a thoughtful touch.

The 2 wineries were very good and welcoming we particularly enjoyed the 2nd one as Matteo was very passionate about what he does, we bought a bottle from each and both were lovely to drink!

We had a wonderful day with Carlo. It was a blast and a great break from Venice. The lunch we ate was one of our best meals in Italy. Carlo also helped arrange transport to the US for all of the Prosecco I bought! :) This is a full service tour and a blast!
Wow just wow! You cannot visit Venice and not do this trip! It blew us away! Carlo is incredibly organised and communication was fantastic! It was a small intimate tour of 6 people. Carlo thought of everything, there is so much finer detail that you appreciate every step of the way. A memory I will treasure forever! Thank you Carlo for our Italian vineyard dream x
Fantastic experience! The excursion was a small group.There were two ther couples plus us. Carlo was an amazing host: attentive, funny, and accommodating. The van is comfortable, spacious, and the A/C works great. Our first stop at Nani Rizzi was outstanding. The facility is beautiful,and the prosecco is scrumptious. Lunch was at Antica Osteria, where both the food and the patio were perfect. Our second winery was Mon Ban, a boutique producer of natural wine. While the wines were not to my particular tastes, the setting and views were breathtaking and definitely worth the trip. This trip was an absolute highlight in our vacation to Italy.
