Tokyo Foodie tour
Great English speaking guide.
One local restaurant served gyoza(dumplings) which were delicious. Second stop featured tuna, mostly raw, so may not appeal to everyone . 3rd stop was dessert. Fun to be out and about with a local!
Nathan, our guide, was fantastic! Would highly recommend!

Great cultural experience!
Such a fun and positive experience! We enjoyed the history, the food, and the demonstration. We had time at the end to ask questions and take photos. The staff was very kind, quick to offer to take our photo, spoke English well and were easy to understand. The retired Sumo wrestlers seem to enjoy this work and had a bit of fun, making jokes, along the way. Totally family friendly! Also, very supportive of the kids (and adults) as they try their hand at battling the wrestlers. Definitely recommend.

Great tour with Taiga
This food tour was amazing. Our guide, Taiga, was absolutely terrific and fun. He was so knowledgeable and gave us a lot of history along with teaching us about different types of sake, VERY IMPORTANT! I highly recommend this tour. The food was great. He gave us a lot of good recommendations for future places. You will sample so many different types of food. The price is extremely fair for everything you get!!

Excellent 1st Tour of Tokyo
Our tour was one of the best we have ever experienced. We had the challenge to get to the meeting point because of the marathon and the streets were detoured or closed. Our guide patiently sorted it out so that we could meet her to keep the tour. Kanon is a very warm & considerate person. She is kind and attentive and we can tell she demonstrated a care for giving us a great tour. She captured all the most important information we should be aware of, the history and the culture of the country. Kanon speaks perfect English having lived in England. She is also learning a few other languages. We learned so much about very important sites, Meiji Shrine and Senso-ji in Asakusa, pointing out the most important things to notice and explained the traditions. We did unique tastings at Tsukiji, the Fish Market and Nakamise Street, the shopping street of snack foods and souvenirs at Asakusa. We visited 3 very distinct neighborhoods which we found were not on other walking tours in Tokyo probably because of the challenges to maneuvering around the city. Kanon was well planned and led us with ease on this tour. We had many questions for recommendations of where to eat and what to see for the rest of our time in Tokyo. Kanon sent us the follow-up texts with all the info. She is truly one of the best tour guides we have ever met and truly enjoyed her lovely self!

Tsukiji Fish Market
Had an absolutely fantastic time on the Tsukiji Fish Market tour today! It was a true 5-star experience from start to finish. Meg was an incredible guide—super knowledgeable, engaging, and made the whole tour feel fun and effortless. You could tell she really knows her stuff and genuinely loves what she does.
Ria, her trainee, was also so lovely—friendly, attentive, and a great addition to the experience.
The variety of food we got to try was amazing—so many different flavors and things I never would have discovered on my own. Everything was delicious and really showcased the best of what the market has to offer.
Highly recommend this tour to anyone visiting Tokyo. Great people, incredible food, and an unforgettable experience!

A very interesting tour of Yanaka
Highly recommend doing this walking tour of Yanaka. It takes you to a less-visited area of Tokyo, which has a lot of history and is great to learn about this interesting local arty area. Pauline is very engaging and leads this tour in a fun way, sharing interesting stories. If you want to explore Tokyo away from the big crowds, then this is a tour you definitely want to take.

She’s gorgeous!
I had a great time on this tour! Be mindful to get to the meeting location early and on time for check in so that the schedule isn’t interfered with. Our tour guides, Levin and Yuta-san were very knowledgeable and social. Always willing to help for a photo opportunity. Mt Fuji is famously known for only being visible 30% of the time so we were very lucky to have had a good weather day. We got up to station 4 on Mt. Fuji. We went to a restaurant with simple Japanese dishes served buffet style (it also had a ninja show which we didn’t partake but a ninja did greet us from the rooftop). And our last stop was a ferry around Lake Ashi. If you didn’t book the bullet train back to Tokyo, there’s still an option to book it with the group or at the station. I enjoy going on tours like these because it allows me to see more in a short amount of time as a solo traveler. Since it was February, it was very cold on the mountain and in the area so I’d suggest to wear layers to keep warm. But they kept the bus very temperate. Hope you book it and the weather lets you see all of Mt. Fuji.

Great intro to Shinjuku...
Great intro to Shinjuku and the different areas in this fantastic pocket of Tokyo. Ayaka was a fantastic guide navigating us through some areas I may not have been able to find on my own. The food was good too! Overall I recommend this if you want a good intro to the neighborhood. Can’t say enough great things about Ayaka!

Really fun biking...
Really fun biking experience! We explored spots both well-known and hidden from most tourists. We especially enjoyed the walk to Meiji Shrine, a delicious lunch at The Frontal, and riding through busy city streets that we never would have attempted without Gako’s guidance.
The route was very well planned, and Gako was thoughtful on reminding us about safety. He also answered many of our questions about Japanese culture. Highly recommend.

Misiu.JDMX goes above and...
Misiu.JDMX goes above and beyond in their tours making it a memorable experience! Including stopping at the infamous Daikoku Parking, we also stopped at A-PIT Autobacs and Tatsumi Parking which other tours dont generally offer! Mori was a fantastic host who was friendly and very knowledgable in both car and japan culture which made the experience even better! I recommend this tour if you are a car enthusiast or you want to experience the Tokyo car scene!
Thank you again Misiu.JDMX and Mori for making the tour a memorable part of our trip!

Amazing night out with a true local guide!
Naoki is the best drinking buddy and guide you could ever want in a city like Tokyo. He showed us some great hidden gems and gave us priceless local tips to getting around the bar scene in the city. Not to mention his vast knowledge of food! Easily the best bar hopping tour you can do in Shibuya.

A wonderful way to start our visit to Tokyo
This was a wonderful way to start our visit to Tokyo. Michelle was a warm and friendly guide, who showed us an extensive and interesting number of places. The group was small, so we were able to access spaces that large groups just can’t get to. It felt like a knowledgeable friend showing you around. We even got a helpful introduction to the subway system, which came in handy for the rest of our trip. My whole family, including our teen, really loved the experience and we highly recommend!
