What are people saying about Tokyo

Excellent Tour!
This was a great first tour in Tokyo for us to learn about Old Tokyo and take in a variety of sites. Our guide Kiyo was very friendly, personable, and knowledgeable. The tour was well-organized and well-paced… but be prepared to walk a lot! Kiyo did give us ample resting points in the shade though, while explaining some of the sites. Sign up… you won’t be disappointed.

Great tour for novice or experienced ramen lovers
We went to 3 different locations to taste 2 ramen dishes at each spot. The tour is long; we took the train to get to one spot. Each dish was a generous size; bring your appetite. Bunga, our guide was friendly and extremely knowledgeable about ramen. Great time!

Highly recommended one day concise tour of Tokyo covering all key areas
Excellent one day trip of Tokyo covering all key areas including two types of temple across two religions. The Hato Bus tour operator was very comfortable and well structured, and especially big thanks to our tour guide Mr Teru-san and the bus driver Ichitawa-san. Teru-san was very patient, polite and explained key locations and the historic context very clearly and English was easy to understand. Tokyo sky tree experience, Sensoji Temple, Meji Shrine and the Imperial Palace outer Garden was great. The short stop at the Ganman Robot and The Statue of Liberty was nice surprise item The best part of the tour was the buffet lunch at the restaurant near Haneda airport with a good spread at a superb dining location. The pick up location right behind the Tokyo station was very easy and convenient to locate. Highly recommend this one day trip of Tokyo compared to other two operators.

An Unforgettable Night in Tokyo’s Legendary Car Scene
★★★★★ Amazing Experience for Any JDM Fan
Our son (18) attended this tour and absolutely loved it. If you are into Japanese car culture, this is a must do experience while visiting Tokyo.
The evening started at A PIT Super Autobacs where there was plenty to see for any car enthusiast. From there, the highlight was visiting Daikoku PA and experiencing the incredible car scene firsthand. He loved seeing so many unique and modified cars, cruising alongside other enthusiasts at night, and soaking in the atmosphere that makes Tokyo’s automotive culture famous around the world.
One of his favorite moments was stopping at a parking garage with amazing views and getting photos with Tokyo Tower in the background, along with a stop at a 7 Eleven that offered another great perspective of the city skyline. The entire route felt like something straight out of a car enthusiast’s dream.
The guide was fantastic. He was relaxed, personable, and extremely knowledgeable about Japanese cars, tuning culture, and the local car scene. The small group size of only two guests made the experience feel personal and allowed for great conversations throughout the night.
The tour lasted from about 5:00 PM to 10:30 PM, and he rode in a beautiful Civic Type R, which made the experience even more memorable. Every stop was well planned, everyone involved was friendly and welcoming, and the entire evening exceeded expectations.
If you are a fan of JDM cars, Japanese automotive culture, or simply want to experience Tokyo’s legendary car scene, this tour is worth every penny.
Five stars all the way. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Leo’s the best driver!
This was by far such a great start to our trip here in Japan! Leo was such a rockstar with everything from messaging the day before to introduce himself to changing things up when our flight got delayed so he could still take u! He was so friendly and a joy to talk to about things here in Tokyo while driving us to the hotel in the comfiest of rides! Will use again!

A great intro to the...
A great intro to the Shinjuku/Kabukicho area and its nightlife culture. Our guide, Toshi, was very friendly and helpful. There were three stops of about 30-50 minutes each, and 10-15 minutes of walking and narration in between. This is not a partying or heavy drinking experience, more-so a educational/cultural experience that features drinking (sake tasting, a couple beers or lemon sours). I enjoyed the tour! Thank you Toshi!

Family trip, 1st time in Japan
I’m giving this tour 5 stars, but with a caveat! First the 5 stars- Jasmine our tour guide was EXCELLENT!! We had a great time with her, learned a lot about the area, food and Japanese culture. The food was excellent, what we got was truly delicious and we enjoyed it very much, really good gyoza, sushi and chicken wing like we’ve never had, all very good. Now the caveat- there wasn’t very much food! As an American who probably eats too much, the entire tour didn’t supply too much food! We hit 2 restaurants and a dessert spot in the food hall of the mall and the portions were very small. It was slightly more than what I would serve as appetizers at home! After the fact I would say do the tour but don’t come starving hungry or plan on maybe getting a bit more to eat on your own after the tour! But again, excellent guide and food, just not enough of it.

Food and Sightseeing
Small group experience with entertaining and knowledgeable guide, Nobuto. Several meal stops and a sightseeing visit around the area. I saw lots of things I would not have found on my own and the group was fun and the food delicious. Definitely recommend it!

Amazing food tour!
Mushfiqur Rahman was an outstanding guide for our Shinjuku food tour. He created a truly personalized experience, taking us to four different spots and thoughtfully weaving in Japanese dining etiquette, local history, and bits of sightseeing along the way. He was incredibly engaging, answered all of our questions with depth and enthusiasm, and offered great recommendations for the rest of our trip. The food was excellent, portions were generous, and we left completely full and happy. It felt like a comprehensive, well-curated introduction to Shinjuku, and we couldn’t have asked for a better guide.

A Great Tour with Yui
We went on the Hakone and Mt Fuji tour and I have to say Yui was one of the best tour guides we have had in Japan! She speaks excellent English (that is a feat in Japan as many guides/tours say they speak english but they don't coherantly) she made the site's come alive with a bit of history and some fun facts about the site's. She was attentative and very fun to conversation with.

Great Sumo Experience - Memories for a Lifetime!
This activity definitely punched above its weight! Initially, we looked into attending a live Sumo match, but unfortunately none of the tournaments were happening while we were in town so booked this as a best alternative after reading the reviews - REALLY glad we did! For those of us who are not really knowledgeable about Sumo, this was a perfect introduction to the sport and its history. We enjoyed hearing directly from the wrestlers about their experiences in and out of the ring, the food they prepared was delicious, and the opportunity to "wrestle" them in the ring was a memory we (and our teenage nephews) never forget!

Nice local night out in Shibuya
Our guide took us to 3 very different local places that we would not have found otherwise. They offered a variety of different types of food and drinks and we enjoyed it all. We were stuffed and you could drink pretty much all you wanted. We had two others with us and the guide (sorry I am not great with names) and they were all great company. It was a nice night out in Shibuya.
