What a great day!!!
Please improve the following trip review for Tripadvisor for punctuation, spelling, grammar, sentence structure. Please try to leave as much as possible intact. Here it is: A tour is only as good as your guide, your itinerary, and your company. On this grand tour of Tokyo, I had a great company. (my wife) a great itinerary, and a great guide, John. It was definitely a day well spent we got to see the Senjo-ji Temple, the Tokyo Skytree, Tskukiji Market (great seafood from stall vendors), Takeshita Street (pop culture on steroids), Shibuya Crossing (the lit up square in Tokyo), the Imperial Gardens and Palace, and the Ginza shopping district.
That’s a lot to pack in to one day, but John made it seem effortless. We started where we wanted. We stopped when we needed to. He made plenty of room for us to explore and wander. We never felt rushed and we felt that we got to take in the experience. We got a chance to sample the best of local food on the way, and his explanations and stories kept us entertained the entire way.. when we come back next year I’d love to hire him again.

Great tour!
Fumi was terrific. She customized the tour based on our interests which was nice and we were able to cover a lot of ground in one day. We were never rushed and she took the time to explain the history of the various sights. She also took us off the beaten path to some local food spots which was amazing.

Prior to the tour,...
Prior to the tour, communications with the company were easy and questions were answered rapidly. The tour stops were exactly as delineated in the description of the tour.
Yuti was a great tour guide. He provided highlights for each stop, told us what to expect, and laid out clear meeting points and times. Otsukare, Yuti!

Ask for Toru!
Our travel date for this tour came during Silver Week so sites were definitely crowded, but our guide, Toru, created an itinerary that allowed us to see the places we wanted to experience in an enjoyable way. We had no problems communicating with Toru during the lead up to the trip and he was so considerate of our wishes. Toru also shared a wealth of information about Japan and the spots we visited. The personal attention on this tour was such a welcomed change from the packed bus tours we had been on with our cruise excursions and the cost wasn't any different! Thank you, Toru, for a wonderful, enlightening experience in Tokyo!

Perfect Tour of Tokyo
If you’re looking for a private tour of Tokyo, look no further. This is an absolute must for anyone visiting Tokyo for the first time. The tour is fully customizable and is a perfect choice for families who want a more personal experience while avoiding large crowds.
A huge shout-out to our tour guide, Shuhei, who was fantastic throughout the day and went above and beyond to help when one member of our group was unable to finish the tour. His professionalism, flexibility, and kindness were greatly appreciated.
I highly recommend asking for Shuhei by name when booking your tour. He won’t disappoint!

10/10 tour with Haruhiko Yokota
We toured Tokyo with Haruhiko Yokota and had an amazing time. Haru was an excellent guide: extremely knowledgeable, so delightful to talk to and helpful by providing post-tour suggestions. We can’t thank Haru enough for putting together a great, customized tour. Highly recommend the 4 hour tour.

Our food tour with Yuki,...
Our food tour with Yuki, our “Snow White,” was absolutely amazing! She knew all the local vendors and made the experience even more special by teaching us Japanese etiquette, sayings, and little cultural insights along the way. The food tastings were incredible, with such a fun and unique variety of options we never would have discovered on our own. Yuki was wonderful, and we couldn’t recommend this tour enough!

Best First Day in Tokyo
As we were first time visitors, this was a great way to see some of the key sights and get to know the train system and how to get around. Our guide Yamada gave great insight into the culture and customs of Japan and the people. The Tsukiji Food Market was a highlight as we tried food that we would never had considered eating - what an experience. Highly recommend, but ensure you wear comfortable shoes as you will do plenty of walking

Bob was brilliant
We did the walking tour early in our visit to Tokyo. Our guide was Bob who was friendly, engaging and knowledgeable throughout and showed us many interesting places away from the hustle and bustle of a lot of the city that we would never have found ourselves. We never felt rushed between places and Bob allowed us to stop, shop and even snack as we wanted. We all really enjoyed the afternoon and I would recommend this tour to anyone who wished to explore a little more of the "real" Tokyo.

A Fantastic Day Exploring Tokyo with Ken Tanaka
I had a fantastic experience on the Tokyo Essential Private Tour with Ken Tanaka from YURAGI Travel. Ken's English is excellent, making it easy to ask questions and learn about Tokyo's history, culture, and local life. He is incredibly knowledgeable, friendly, and approachable, and he tailored the day to suit my interests while keeping everything running smoothly.
One thing to keep in mind when planning your itinerary is that if you choose attractions that are quite far apart, you'll still need to do a fair amount of very fast-paced walking, even though you'll be using Tokyo's excellent train system. It's definitely worth considering travel times between locations when deciding what to include.
If you're visiting in July, be prepared for the heat and humidity. I highly recommend bringing a water bottle to stay hydrated and a small hand towel to wipe away the sweat—it makes a big difference!
Overall, I had a wonderful day with Ken and would highly recommend this tour to anyone wanting a personalised introduction to Tokyo.
