If you love cheese and chocolate, this is the tour for you!
Our tour to the Gruyère cheese factory and chocolate factory with Gabor, was absolutely fantastic! It was the perfect mix of beautiful Swiss scenery, fascinating local culture, and delicious tastings. Seeing how authentic Gruyère cheese is made was incredibly interesting, and the interactive exhibits made the experience both educational and fun. The chocolate factory was equally wonderful—learning about the chocolate-making process and sampling the fresh chocolate was a highlight of the day. I highly recommend this tour to anyone visiting Switzerland—it was one of the most memorable and enjoyable parts of our trip! Book early as this tour will sell out. Unfortunately for us it did, but we were able to book a private tour for an additional fee.
Gabor our tour guide was very accommodating!

Diverse Tastings!
The tour with Felix was a great time. He has a passion for chocolate and love of the city; he taught us a lot about both. He had a wide variety of pre-packaged chocolates, beverages, and we got chocolates from a local chocolate shop. Highly recommend.

Great tour with great tour guide!
We were planning to visit Lindt Chocolate Museum; however, we found out that the tickets were sold out. We had a day to kill in Zurich before we go to our next destination. I made a reservation with Viator Chocolate testing in Zurich! Oh my God our experience was not disappoint. Instead of going and testing one Chocolate place, we did test more than we can imagine:) We had a great time with our tour guide Vasili. Vasili has not only knowledgeable with Swiss chocolate, he also very knowledgeable about Switzerland history. He is very funny, and friendly & made the tour very entertaining. We walked around 2 hours & visited maybe more than 10 chocolate shops and learn so much about Swiss chocolate, chocolate making and the history of Switzerland. very nice tour and highly recommend!

The Best Way to Learn About Quality Cheese and Chocolate
My family loved all of the interesting facts about cheese making in Gruyères. The interactive tour was obviously geared towards children, but we all really enjoyed it (our daughter is 21). We watched the cheese being made in real time. The town of Gruyères was charming and we enjoyed the self guided castle tour. We had lunch at Chalet de Gruyeres and it was the best fondue we’d ever had. Then it got even better! The self guided audio tour at Caillers chocolate factory was really impressive. It was interactive and very informative, from the harvesting of the cocoa beans in Africa (and the way those farmers are treated) to their relationships with the dairy farmers, to the last step of packaging the final product. The taste testing was a big plus for us - so many to try, and so delicious!

This was a great tour...
This was a great tour with the perfect blend of history, culture, and of course cheese and chocolate. Our guide Sarah was wonderful! She shared her love of her city and went out of her way to make sure we enjoyed ourselves. It was so nice to spend the afternoon learning about Lucerne and tasting chocolate/cheese with her!

Fun and very enjoyable!
Weronika was wonderful, so much fun and knowledgeable. She is very helpful while making plans for the tour specially when there is concern about the weather. She goes above and beyond and helps you with local plan suggestions. Communication with her is excellent! I strongly recommend her for your next tour.

Knowledgeable, cordial...
Knowledgeable, cordial guide. Enjoyed the short visit to the Lindt chocolate home and store. This gives enough exposure so one can decide if they want to return and do the tour. Of course the highlight was the tram ride up the mountain and the cheese fondue dinner at the restaurant on top. Views to Zürich and up and down the lake are incredible!

We had a wonderful guide,...
We had a wonderful guide, David, who was very knowledgeable about Geneva, Switzerland and France. He explained in detail what to expect from the trip, and was very pleasant and kind to everyone. He had our tickets ready so we did not have to wait and parked us close so we did not have to walk a long way. This was a fun trip and we learned a lot about chocolate and cheese. We really enjoyed tasting all those chocolates and the fondue lunch. Definitely one trip you want to make.

Highly recommend!
An excellent full day of exploring! Started w/a visit to a beautiful hillside farm and hearing from the farmer his day w the cows, complete w seeing them walk back up the hill and past us for the milking line! Cheese samples and seeing how it’s made, pastry samples, chocolatier explanation of how his company makes their very own delicious chocolates using local ingredients and samples! A ride up to the top of Appenzell in Hoher Kasten, tram ride. Enjoyed a delicious lunch while rotating 360 for views, although it did become cloudy at the top. Then toured a beautiful town, complete w shopping time. We did it all! Thank you Monika! You were the best!!

David was fantastic! He...
David was fantastic! He even came and did our tour on his day off when it was his country’s national holiday. The chocolate museum and cheese factory were so fun (and delicious!!) for us and the kids. And then he dropped us off in the charming Gruyère village where he recommended the best place to get the best fondue for lunch! So thankful for his kindness and direction and for the very delightful day in Gruyere!
