Mar was a great guide, friendly and informative! The chocolate was delicious. Keep in mind this is a walking tour and there was a good amount of walking and standing, not an issue for me, I loved it, but if you have issues walking a few miles this might not be for you.
This was terrific-Maria was a joy to be with! She gave us lots of info and lots of chocolate! We had a delightful time with a great group-highly recommend.
Isabelle was a great tour guide - entertaining, and very knowledgeable about Geneva and the history of chocolate. The chocolate tastings were delicious. She was also very accommodating of dietary restrictions and preferences.
This was a wonderfully fun and informative tour. Isabel was fabulous!! I loved her attitude and all the fun facts she gave us.
Our tour guide was friendly, professional, engaging, informative and enthusiastic about the chocolate we tasted and the history of the areas we explored. The tour start spot was difficult to find so we were late but the guide phoned us and arranged a meet-up spot.
Marianne was a great guide for this tour! The chocolates were delicious and walking through old town was great!
Thank you to Isabelle for an enthusiastic, fun tour with the perfect balance of delicious chocolate, city history and walking. Would happily go again! The samples were delicious at each stop/location. Great way to explore.
Maryann was our guide and this tour was perfect. Well paced and more than just a chocolate tour. The 3 hours went by quickly.
Not only did you sample several chocolates, you received a small tour of the city with a little history added. Was especially pleased with our tour guide, Mar. She was very knowledgeable and did a great job of making it fun.
Great tour! Olivia was a wonderful guide. This is definitely for chocolate lovers. Arrive hungry. It’s a LOT of chocolate. We were too full to taste at the last two locations so go to-go bags. Lovely experience!

Thank you so much for the wonderful review! Geneva’s chocolatiers certainly do not hold back, so I was more than happy to pack up those last treats for you to enjoy later. It was an absolute pleasure guiding you!
Warmly,
Olivia
Loik was a great guide. Very informed and prepared. The stops were timed well and each shop was ready for us with samples. Loik also gave us great historical information while we walked. A nice mix of chocolate and Geneva information. Recommended!
We had a wonderful tour around Geneva to see the sites and visit different chocolate shops. Our guide was very knowledgeable and friendly. The tour was modified a bit because of the heat, which was appreciated. The chocolate was delicious and we had a great time!
We loved walking through Geneva's Old Town and crossing Lake Geneva by boat. The chocolates we tasted were EXQUISITE! Loic was a charming, engaging storyteller who made history come alive. What a memorable, fabulous experience for the whole family during our stay in Geneva!!
Ah, what a wonderful tour! If you like chocolate, this is the tour for you! Our guide, Olivia, had an amazing knowledge of the local chocolate shops. We walked a little, sampled some chocolate, and walked some more. It was the perfect pace. And Olivia was so kind to keep a gentle pace for the slower parties in our group. She even spent extra time with us when our tour ran a bit over. She told us this was her last tour, so I'm sorry for those of you who won't get a tour with her, but I think this is an excellent tour company with great connections to the local chocolatiers. You will have an amazing time no matter who is your tour guide! I took lots of pictures to make my friends and family back home jealous!

Thank you so much for such a kind and thoughtful review! It was truly special to share my final tour with such a lovely group. Keeping an easy, comfortable pace so everyone can fully enjoy the city and its artisans is always my goal, and spending that extra time with you all was an absolute pleasure.
I’m so glad you have plenty of great photos (and memories!) to share back home.
Warmly,
Olivia
This tour is a great way to combine seeing the main parts of central and Old Town Geneva combined with 5-6 distinct chocolate shops. You can taste the different types each shop has and the tour provides discounts at some of the popular ones you can return to later. A great way to start off your time in Geneva - especially if Dominic is your tour guide!
This tour truly lives up to its award-winning reputation. Our guide, Paul, was knowledgeable, friendly, and brought Geneva's history to life while introducing us to some fantastic chocolate along the way. Every chocolate shop we visited was warm and accommodating, making the whole experience feel personal rather than like a typical tourist spot. Between the rich history of the Old Town and the incredible chocolate tasting, this tour offers the perfect mix of culture and indulgence. Highly recommend for anyone visiting Geneva!
The experience was outstanding Amber & Antonio were excellent. They were informative conversational & took us to the most wonderful chocolate shops. The history of the City was very well explained - sometimes a Guide can give too much information but Ambers talk was perfectly pitched. She knew we were tourists rather than Undergraduates. The chocolate we sampled was divine - hard to pick my favourite.
I would highly recommend this Tour for a brilliant overview of The City & an exquisite tasting experience.
Paul was a great tour guide. Provided lots of details and was very upbeat and enthusiastic. The places we visited were excellent.
Lots of walking but worth it!
Learned about the history of Geneva while eating some of the best chocolate in the world!
Shout out for Anatole who was very friendly and accommodating to us as we were running late and he allowed us to meet with the group still!
A nice small group size. LOTS of chocolate shops visited with fun, light-hearted information about the history of chocolate in Geneva. The tour has little real substance/information about Geneva, so if you're hoping for a more cultural/educational experience you will not find it on this tour. It's very light and superficial but fun to meet other tourists and indulge in a huge amount of chocolate (I couldn't eat more samples by the final two shops!).
Dominique was very knowledgable about both chocolate and old town history. He was courteous to all participants, paced the walking tour well and adjusted plans as needed.
Very accommodating to allergies. We had someone in our party with nut allergies and our guide (Loic) called ahead of each shop to make sure that our person was still able to get the full tour experience! It was great and overall fun! Would totally recommend!
This was a wonderful way to spend part of a day in Geneva.
The chocolates just kept getting better and better at each stop, and Camila is such a lovely guide - very knowledgeable and kind.
It's definitely an experience worth having if you're ever in Geneva.
Thank you!!

This was a lovely way to spend 3 hours wandering around the city eating chocolates.
Lots of information and a nice pace set by our guide Marianne.
Wear comfy shoes and a bottle of water.
Fantastic tour! The chocolate is super high end, the other sites were interesting and it was great way to see the old town, and our guide Marianne was great!
What a great way to explore Geneva! Isabelle was a great guide- enthusiastic, knowledgeable and friendly- we enjoyed the whole experience- and the chocolate! Loved how it combined the old city and history! Highly recommend!

Hi Kathy,
Thank you so much for your lovely review! I’m really glad you enjoyed exploring Geneva this way, old city, history, chocolate and all 😊🍫
It was a pleasure sharing the tour with you, and I’m so happy the mix of stories and tastings made the experience feel complete.
Thanks again for joining the Geneva Chocolate & Old Town Tour with Local Flavours Tours, and for such a kind recommendation!
Warmly,
Isabelle
Our tour guide Olivia had great energy and made the tour enjoyable. We got to try a wide variety of chocolates and go to many areas of the city. The only thing I think that would have made it five stars was if the tour was shortened to about 2 hours and more focused on just trying chocolate, not necessarily seeing Geneva monuments.
EXCELLENT! Our guide, Dominic, was the best! He made the tour fun and interesting! As expected, a lot of walking, but we had a few periods of rest (either sitting or standing) while we sampled some of the chocolates. Some steep areas in Old Town, but manageable if you can do moderate exercise. Since the chocolate can melt easily due to its high quality, it would be helpful to bring wet wipes or napkins in case. The tour is managed very well timewise. The meeting place and ending place (the same) is convenient and accessible for taxis and Ubers. I highly recommend this tour!
The tour was great. Nice balance of history of Genevè and chocolate. Definitely will get your fill of chocolate; a great tour for true chocolate lovers!!! Camilla was a friendly and knowledgeable tour guide.

Olivia was a delight and shared interesting facts and stories about the city, as well as all the delicious chocolate we ate. A fun afternoon that we highly recommend.

Thank you so much! I'm delighted you enjoyed the city's stories just as much as all the delicious chocolate tastings. It was an absolute pleasure spending the afternoon with you!
