Throughout the tour, we experienced engaging storytelling and wonderful photo ops. It was nice to finish up our time together with fine wines and tasty treats!
Definitely would recommend as a great way to start your visit in Lucerne.

This was a great excursion. From chocolate tasting to wine and cheese tasting..all good. Enjoyed hearing the local historical stories too. We were just 4 people so that was awesome.

I feel that we didn’t get our moneys worth and would t recommend this experience. We walked a lot. We visited a chocolate store in the train station, walked to the white castle on the hill and then back to a pub for the wine and cheese pairing. The pairing was the only part that we couldn’t have necessarily done on our own. There wasn't any great information on the area during the walking tour. I felt let down. The saving grace was the other family that was on the tour was awesome. But there’s no way we should have paid the amount of money for a non-private tour

Hi Glen. This is a tasting/walking tour! and the best way to discover a city is to use your legs! i am sorry that you were expecting a car, elevator or any other mode of transportation, but Luzern is better appreciated by moving your feet! About the tasting, well you have got a full tasting of prime chocolate together with history of the products and chocolate in Switzerland! No, it was not a "PUB" :) where the wine and cheese tasting was given but a "Wine cellar " and you forgot to mentioned that you were served two glasses of Swiss wine! I think that you did not know what kind of tour you were doing! It lasted two hours learning about the Swiss history and tasting the different Swiss Flavours!

Luis gave us a fabulous tour of many of Lucerne’s highlights combined with delicious chocolate, cheese and wine tastings. He was extremely friendly and knowledgable and shared some excellent recommendations and fun facts as only a local could. We enjoyed our time with Luis greatly and highly recommend taking a tour with him. Our packages also included tickets for a boat tour of Lake Lucerne, which was also very nice. Thank you, Luis!

Description of the tour was a little vague. “ chateau “ was just a hotel on top of the hill with a nice view. We looked at chapel bridge and got some history but then didn’t cross it. Chocolate part was nice but really just a commercial for the manufacturer. Luis was very friendly and engaging. Pretty pricey for what it was but seems everything in Lucerne is.

We visited and offered everything as in the tour description in the two hrs tour! :) 5 types of the best Swiss chocolate, 2 types od swiss wine paired with delicious swiss cheese! visited the Chateau with a view and you have got plenty of history and not just some history ! if there was something specific you wanted to know then i suggest to ask next time please:) . Make sure you have an app on your phone that allows you to communicate by email with your tour guide who will be looking for you at the designated place and to receive your tickets to the boat trip around Lucerne. Our tour guide Luis was excellent.

It was a perfect Swiss experience.. lots of chocolates which were delish, walking, wine tasting in a beautiful place with a table set our small group.. a beautiful selection of cheeses were presented as well.. our tour guide Luís was informative, personable and just fun!!

This was a great tour with the perfect blend of history, culture, and of course cheese and chocolate. Our guide Sarah was wonderful! This tour was excellent! I typically HATE tour groups, but this was definitely an exception. Sarah gave us a great tour. It was very personable and really just felt like an old friend was showing us around her home town. She told some great stories about the town and some of the locations. The chocolate tasting and cheese tasting were delicious. The walk to the chateau was a nice way to walk through some of the old town. If you also add the boat cruise, the guide will wish you well and send you onto the boat so you can take the departure time that works best for you. She also recommended several other sites to visit in Lucerne and the surrounding area. As we were looking through our pictures later that evening, my daughter was disappointed that we didn't take any pictures with our guide, Sarah, because she was one of the highlights of the whole experience. This was a great addition to our stay in Lucerne.

Luís was a great tour guide with so much information. We had a first rate chocolate tasting plus wine and cheese! We also did the one hour optional lake tour which was at the end.

Great introduction to laserne. Our guide met us under arch near train station so Ed learned about the arch and station. Walked in station for 6 chocolate tastings! Walked along river to see tower and bridge. Took tram up to castle of Queen Victoria and saw view. Went to winery for wine and many cheeses

We had a wonderful tour headed by Laszlo. We walked around and learned a lot of history and enjoyed our chocolates and wine with cheese. A definite must due when in Lucerne.

The tour itself was interesting and pleasant. Our tour guide was engaging and knowledgeable. The reason for the low rating is based on unreasonable cost for what was provided. Chocolate tasting was one stop at store in train station and cheese tasting was minimal at best. A comparable and more robust Viator excursion in Verona was one third of the price. We enjoyed this tour but are still asking ourselves why was the price so high.

Dear Terry. You have got all the products and services as described in the tour! This is not a lunch nor dinner with XL portions! This is a tasting experience and the portions are very generous and we offer the best Swiss quality. Beside the 3 different types of cheese and 5 different types of chocolate, you have got two glasses of wine too served in a private wine cellar and you visit the castle, along the tour Laszlo gave you a lot of information about the Swiss history. The services in Switzerland are the best in Europe and therefore you need to pay a higher prices compared to other European countries. Sorry it was too much for your budget. This is a waste of money and especially TIME on your vacation. I would not call this a chocolate and cheese tour. 5 crumbs of chocolate in a train station chocolate shop is a stretch. Whole “tour” uninformative and not fun.

Luis was a wonderful tour guide of the city and I would highly recommend him. His English is perfect. We enjoyed our tour of chocolate, cheese, wine and the castle with him. We took a boat ride of the lake following the tour which was lovely.
