You have to go!

This was an absolutely amazing way to spend my last day in Barcelona. The trip to Mont serrat wasn’t too long - only about an hour in the bus, and the whole bus ride there and back had incredible views. The trip was well organized, and the tour guide, Carla was amazing with a contagious, upbeat personality. Her knowledge added to the tour both at the Monsarrat monastery and during the wine and tapas experience. I’ve done three different tours via Viator and this one I would recommend hands-down to anybody visiting Barcelona 🙌🏽

The palace itself is stunning, and walking through its rooms makes you feel as though you have stepped into the past and become part of its story. Tatiana was a great guide and host. Mini Bus was very comfortable. The stops on the tour were interesting. The pick up and return to our hotel went smoothly. Note: We did select English for this tour. Our group was majority Hispanic. The two Florida couples also spoke and understood Spanish as did the German couple. We and the Chinese couple spoke and understood English. There was a lot of interaction between and among the Hispanics Throughout the day. We have travelled extensively on our many trips to Europe over the last 30 years.. Our guided tours were always English. This was a first for us and we would have preferred English only as we have had in the past.

Lovely Park

I really enjoyed this visit, which we combined with the Hop On- Hop Off bus, though we took a taxi to get there initially. Our guide, Esther, was great. She shared a lot about the history of the park, as well as the people involved in it’s creation, and the inspiration and influences they had. The view from the park is excellent, as well. We chose the guided visit in Spanish. Loved it!

I was hesitant to book a...

I was hesitant to book a guided tour since we usually really just like to explore on our own, but I am very happy we booked this!! There was just so much to learn about the place that I don’t think we would have gotten even from the audio tour since our guide was able to point out things physically rather than just an audio direction. I think we could have spent days in La Sagrada Família and not uncovered all of the intricacies Gaudi designed into the place!!

Both the Park Guell and the Sagrada Família are must sees if you are in Barcelona! Our guide, Christina, was a wealth of information about Antonio Gaudi. The tour was at a nice pace and the van between venues was clean and comfortable for the short ride! I would recommend this tour if you want to see two amazing places at the same time!

The Sagrada Familia is a must!!!

The Sagrada Familia is stunning - in sunny weather, which, however, occurs in BCN on over 300 days/year. Same for us. Veronica explained everything great and was very nice (English tour). Nevertheless, the tour was very expensive, but we got the last 4 of 5 tickets on that day. Tip: book tickets in time, the cheaper tickets are often sold out 2 weeks in advance.
