Conflicting information on meeting location from Viator vs Crown Tours instructions. Tour operator only had a colored shirt, no handheld sign , so difficult to find him.
The tour guide commentator also had no sign, although our group was small so perhaps it wasn’t as critical but still a good idea.
We sent messages to tour operator as we couldn’t find the meeting place just before the beginning of the tour, but they didn’t respond so had to call him twice as initially gave too general of location description. We were walking around in circles.. no apology from the on-location Crown Tour person.
Their meeting place was not the common location that all the other tour companies use, so even our taxi driver didn’t know.
Crown Tours should double-check with Viator that information is always coordinated and matching beforehand because they don’t give refunds if you miss the tour.
Tour guide was providing/talking about so much detailed information ,which was alright, but it didn’t allow much time for questions that some people in the group had. Then she had to rush away.
Pre-tour messages and information was basic and impersonal compared to other tours we’ve taken.
Mediocre value for the price.

Our guideAlessia Cominato part of Crown Tours was the most knowledgeable, sensitive, expert I have ever encountered. Her detail to the architectural and personal history of Gaudi and the trajectory of the Sagrada Fam will be unforgettable. What a treat. Really hit the soul.

The operator of this tour WILL NOT respond to inquiries. I emailed them several times with no response. The reason I emailed them is because they changed our reservation times on multiple occasions to the point where I was totally confused about when we were supposed to arrive. As a result, we showed up an hour early only to be told to wait….very frustrating due to the complete lack of two-way communication. They advertise that they will respond, but they do not. The tour guide was great, but I need to leave a bad review in hopes of getting their attention. I would NOT recommend this based on the extremely poor customer service.

La Segadra Familia was amazing, and Albert, our Crown Tours guide, was fantastic. He was by far the best of our 3 cathedral tour guides across Spain, all of whom were informative and personable. Albert clearly & thoroughly explained the historical & artistic background for each area of the cathedral. But Albert also understands the pertinent religious stories and their meanings, which helped to interpret the messages Gaudi & other architects intended to convey. That level & accuracy of religious context was simply missing from our other tours.
The clear description of elements of the cathedral was especially helpful at Segadra, with its amazing depth of artistic creativity. Gaudi's incredible vision as a designer, brilliance as an architect, and effectiveness as a project leader have resulted in an absolute marvel that left us in awe.
We have no interest in visiting the other cathedrals again, or to see any new ones besides Notre Dame & St. Peter's Basilica. But if we return to Barcelona, we will definitely go back to La Segadra Familia. We saw the interior in the morning light during this first visit; we'll want to see it late in the day next time.

This was a great tour with a great guide. He gave us so much information that we hadn’t read about before. It made us appreciate the Sagrada Família even more. I would highly recommend this tour. In our experience paying a little extra for someone who is so familiar with the cathedral is worth the money. Note though: be wary of your belongings that you have to place in the bins going through security. I had expensive sunglasses that I placed in the bin only to find they were not there when I picked up my other stuff after it went through the screening. When I insisted I had my sunglasses on the in, he reached underneath and took them from a shelf under the conveyor belt. Hmmmm…

Very interesting tour. Our guide, Valentina, was knowledgeable, helpful, and friendly.
She provided historical facts about the design and construction processes.
The only thing I think could improve is the meeting point! It’s in the park behind the cathedral, in front of the giant pond, would rather meet in front of a known, visually easy to recognize place such as a business in front of the church. Other than this, the tour was great!

Very knowledgeable guide. Xavier knew the all the info about the Sagrada Família first hand. He had been coming here for years. Tour only lasted about 1 hr and 20 minutes. But he stayed until all questions were answered.

Our guide was superb and the man, David, arrived at 10:30 with the purple vest and at the named spot even though a bit hard to find; he checked us in and said to return just before 11:00 for the tour with gal guide.
Unfortunately, the day trip the next day to 3 cities well out of town was not legible and though we started at 7:45 and finally got a taxi at 8:15, we arrived late 8:37) and though we discovered the message and called, the trip did not wait. Since the day prior we’d arrived 1.5 hrs early and were told to return a half hour later, we thought the 4 minutes we had told the Montserrat +2 spots would wait; viator had asked to change our date last week from the 2nd to the 1st after all! We lost $131 US for the 2 of us, and no real offers of a basic replacement tomorrow or Wednesday.
We are going with a competitor tomorrow to just the one city if Monserrat. Viator had several opportunities at hospitality but missed them. Disappointing for Ilene and me who had not been back here in 60 yrs! I also used viator in London 2x and was pleased, but this day trek was most expensive and no credit to Ilene Trabolsi or me. Disappointing

The guide was outstanding. She explained everything that we would never had seen on our own. The cathedral is way beyond amazing. I loved the orange color in the stained glass windows. I hope to come back. Viator has been very good for us.

The worst! I came 3 times to Sagrada Familia, and this company did everything wrong, bad communication, change of time a day before, change of time 1 hour before the tour again, as I was not able to arrive at that they offered by phone to re schedule, it never happened, they just ignore everything and tried to sell me more tickets for a next date. I had better experiences with other companies.

We never did find the place to "exchange voucher for ticket", so we went ahead to the meeting place. Apparently, we ran around unnecessarily for about 45 minutes, as it was not needed. Aside from the unimpressive start, the tour was great. I would highly recommend.

The Sagrada Família is absolutely breathtaking. The design and details are amazing, and the stained glass inside was absolutely beautiful.
Seeing the sunset light streaming through the stained glass windows was truly stunning. It was an unforgettable experience and a must see visit when in Barcelona.
