Han is an excellent tour guide. Super knowledgeable but also so fun and lighthearted. We had a mixed age group from 13-75 and everyone had a great time. It’s like being toured around by a really good family friend. We were able to customize everything and he helped my parents on the stairs, made it so they had minimal walking and ample air conditioning. He treats everyone with kindness and every vendor and parking attendant seemed to know and love him. Made our day so much smoother. Don’t hesitate!!!

This tour was incredible! We had a 12 hour 45 minute layover, and were dreading being in the airport for so long. We spent the majority of our time on this tour. We saw so much, learned so much, and had amazing Korean cuisine. Since we’re traveling internationally, I was worried that the tour would be fast paced and very active. That was not the case. A great tour guide makes a great difference!

Took the 17 June tour with my mum and daughter. Thomas was our tour guide. As DMZ is a restricted area, the places for tourists are largely the same for all tour groups. As such, the tour guide makes a difference for such a full day tour. We are thankful to have Thomas as our guide. I was very impressed with him texting us a day before the tour to introduce himself and to provide important reminders. This gives us assurance who to look for at the start of the tour. For the entire duration of the tour, Thomas was engaging, attentive and helpful. I was appreciative that he followed us into the third tunnel to ensure that we were ok. I thought KANG was an amazing host and driver too. We got everywhere we beat crowds, and he had so many informative things to say, especially about Buddhism, so much more than a guidebook. My wife and I are traveling on a Regent Asia cruise. One of our stops was in Seoul. My wife asked if we could visit the DMZ, I guess she had watch one too many MASH reruns. Well I booked a trip with Brand X tour agency also from Viator. I called on the first day of our cruise to confirm our pick up and a send X said we can’t pick you up at the Incheon International Cruise Terminal. I said why as they had accepted the tour. They said they can’t and refunded my money. Given we were only 6 days away from our docking in Seoul, I found his new agency. They warned me it would be hard to get tickets to the DMZ on short notice, but Soo our tour guide never gave up and with an effort only matched by trying to get tickets to popular K-Pop group he came through! From The start Soo was awesome in answering my wife’s 10,000 questions and showing us all there is to see at the DMZ. He was so good I kept Soo to help us see Seoul the next day. We had 2 great days and learned an incredible amount about Korea’s history. We would recommend Soo To everyone who wants a personal and personable tour guide!
