We had an amazing day touring Seoul with Soo! Our group of six enjoyed a private Highlights of Seoul tour, and Soo made the experience fun, interesting, and memorable.
We visited Gyeongbokgung Palace and the Changing of the Guard Ceremony, Bukchon Hanok Village, Gwangjang Market, Jogyesa Temple, Insadong, Ikseon-dong Hanok Village, and Bugak Pavilion. It was a wonderful mix of history, culture, food, scenery, and everyday life in Seoul.
Soo was knowledgeable, friendly, and engaging, while keeping our group organized and the day relaxed. We especially appreciated the historical and cultural insights that brought each place to life.
We learned a lot, saw many sides of Seoul, and had a fantastic time. Soo helped make our first experience in Seoul truly special, and we would absolutely recommend this tour. Five stars!

Our guide was Soo and he did a fabulous job. Although our tour was suppose to start at 7am, he offered to pick us up at 6am because we had limited time available (we had a long layover). This was totally unexpected and so appreciated. Soo planned the day perfectly to maximize what we could visit. He choose a variety of activities to give us a more complete introduction to Seoul. We got to many places right after they opened, which not only allowed us to fully fill our time, it minimized the crowds at the sites we visited. Along the way Soo taught us about the Korean culture, introduced us to Korean foods, and covered some of the 4000+ years of history. We ended our day with a desire to come back for a longer visit to South Korea. This tour exceeded all our expectations.

Dun was so communicative and helpful in getting us from arriving at Incheon to him. He was full of factoids about life in Korea and Seoul in particular. We had a 10-hour layover and spent most of it with Dun. The airport is a bit of a haul from downtown and we were very tired, but the time was so worth it. I feel like we got a quick, easy, fun taste of what a "real" visit to the city would be like. He customized the itenerary for our day to my 16-year-old son's preferences (less culture, more food/shopping) and we had a great time. Would highly recommend!
We had a 24 hour layover in Seoul and decided to book this tour to see the city. From the start there was great communication with Soo who arranged to collect us from the airport. We were able to bring our luggage in the air conditioned mini van. Soo was an amazing guide and provided us with great information on the city. There aren’t enough words to express how grateful we are to Hun and his amazing tour group. He truly made our trip unforgettable and created memories that our family will cherish forever.
From the very beginning, Hun was in constant contact with me leading up to our tour. He patiently answered every question we had and took the time to understand exactly what we were looking for. He created a wonderful itinerary for us and then gave us plenty of time to make any changes or adjustments. Everything was so thoughtfully planned and personalized to our family.
We were picked up and dropped off right at our hotel in a spacious, comfortable, air-conditioned van, which was especially appreciated during the August heat.
My two teenage sons, ages 14 and 16, had the absolute best time with Hun. They loved listening to him share the history, stories, and interesting details about every place we visited. He made everything engaging and fun, and the boys were genuinely excited to learn along the way.
Hun also took us to some absolutely delicious places to eat and even went out of his way to make sure my picky eater was happy. One of our favorite experiences was visiting a traditional tea house, which we all loved. He even found a few arcades where the boys could take a break, cool off, and have some fun.
This trip was my birthday gift to myself for a milestone birthday, and it was truly my dream trip. I had very high expectations, but the experience went far beyond anything I could have imagined. My family and I will never forget how special this trip was, and Hun played such a huge part in making it that way.
I highly, highly recommend Hun and his amazing tour group. If you are looking for someone who is knowledgeable, thoughtful, accommodating, and genuinely cares about making your trip special, look no further. We are so grateful for everything he did for our family and will always remember this incredible experience!
Moon is a great person to learn about Seoul. Even the day before the tour, he provided me with multiple options for the next day. He is very compassionate, does his job very well, and is responsive to his clients' requests. The whole day of sightseeing went very fast, and the memories will stay for a long time. During my time with him, I asked him for suggestions on many different things. To my surprise, the next day after our tour, he sent me a bunch of information with directions and even times of operation. I was amazed. I will highly recommend Moon's program.
Best 13 hour layover we’ve ever had! Hun picked us up at the airport after our red eye and we napped in his comfortable SUV while he drove us to Seoul. He took us to all of the places he thought we should see. Such an easy and fun day since we had no idea what we should see! Definitely will book Hun again next time we have another layover in Incheon.
Soo was an incredible tour guide for us all day. He picked us up right on time, and we went and saw everything that was on our list. He timed things so well and was able to work in so many things that we were interested in. Soo was very knowledgeable about everything he showed us as well as Korean culture in general and really took the time to share his love of Korea with us. Highly recommend him!!! We spent the day exploring Seoul including the temple, local village, palace, DDP, etc.
I rarely leave reviews on businesses, but this one deserves it. This tour was definitely better than the one we had last year. Our tour guide Hun was fun, energetic, flexible, and very knowledgeable. Our needs and wants were all catered to. He was very friendly and his recommendations were on point. Wish we had more time to go around but we had a flight to catch. We'll be back for sure and book him again! 10/10! 😊
We had an incredible day in Seoul with Han! He picked us up directly from the airport, making our layover completely stress-free, and created a fantastic tour that allowed us to experience so much of the city in just one day.
Han took us to the beautiful Gyeongbokgung Palace, the iconic N Seoul Tower with its amazing views, a peaceful Buddhist temple, the charming Bukchon Hanok Village with its historic Korean homes, and a lively traditional market where we enjoyed a delicious, authentic Korean lunch.
Throughout the day, Han shared fascinating stories about Korea’s history, culture, and traditions. He was friendly, knowledgeable, professional, and made us feel welcome from the moment we met him. The tour was perfectly organized, and we never felt rushed despite seeing so many incredible places.
If you have a layover or limited time in Seoul, we can’t recommend Han enough. He made our visit unforgettable, and thanks to him, we left Korea with wonderful memories and a much deeper appreciation for this beautiful country.

Han is an excellent tour guide. Super knowledgeable but also so fun and lighthearted. We had a mixed age group from 13-75 and everyone had a great time. It’s like being toured around by a really good family friend. We were able to customize everything and he helped my parents on the stairs, made it so they had minimal walking and ample air conditioning. He treats everyone with kindness and every vendor and parking attendant seemed to know and love him. Made our day so much smoother. Don’t hesitate!!!

Hun is the funnest guy ever to guide you!!! We had three generations, 11-year old to 75+ year old and we all had the best time! Sassy and misbehaved kids were no challenge for Hun. We took pics with Hambok, we went to the palace before the crowds and heat were crazy, we learned so much all day long, and we ate like locals/kings!!!!
Grandpa had mobility issues and Hun made sure that he was taken care of. Breaks when needed, out of the sun, door to door service because he knows everyone and gets VIP parking, but overall that was our main concern.
He balanced the usual sightseeing with what we wanted (salt bread, great street food, Hanbok wearing for only pics and not to overheat at the palace, and also added things he personalized for us like more shopping at the library, some quiet and slow time at the Buddhist temple.
For a 2-day visit, he made our one day of touring the best ever. Entertained and informed three generations and everyone got to do and see what they wanted with his expert driving and parking! Apparently that is a skill here! Parking is no joke! He’s now part of the fam and whether he is visiting us in Hawaii or Texas or we are coming back to hang out with him and eat raw beef and crab (and survive and it’s delicious btw), he’s family!
Hun loves his job and rocks at it! We couldn’t have asked for a better guide and experience and whether one-day or multi-day, I/we would hang with him for any duration! Crazy good time! This is who you want to make memories with!!!!
We had a 14 hour layover in Seoul and opted for the 9-hour layover tour! Soo was our guide & made it absolutely unforgettable. He met us right inside the airport, which took all the stress out of navigating, and from there he was the most kind, professional, and passionate guide we could’ve asked for.

Soo is an amazing driver and went above and beyond the whole time. He covered parking + almost all admission fees, only the cable car was extra. You can tell he’s truly educated and passionate about Korean culture — his stories made every stop come alive.
What really stood out: the locals clearly love him too. He knows so many people that we even got special parking in super busy areas. That local connection made the tour feel effortless and VIP.
If you have a layover and want to actually SEE Seoul without the hassle, book Soo. He’s friendly, knowledgeable, and made us feel like friends by the end. Seriously so great meeting him and having him tour us around!

We had a 12 hour layover at Incheon Airport, so we wanted to book a tour to see some sights in Korea before our flight back home - and we're glad we did! Soo was very friendly, organized, and knowledgeable, sharing many interesting facts about Korean culture and history with us. Although we were a bit short on time, we were still able to visit 6 different locations and really enjoyed our time at each of them! Soo also knew some great photo spots and took amazing photos for us. We definitely recommend this experience to others who have some time to kill during their layover in Korea 😊 Thank you Soo again!
Our tour was perfect. Soo helped us plan in advance, then make on-the-fly adjustments the night before and during the day to accommodate our exhausted children (aged 8 and 11). He was efficient, friendly and knowledgeable- and his English was impeccable. He planned the day to avoid major crowds at sights, and also had several spots that were tucked away and exclusive to him / his company that allowed us to get even better photos and experiences. He engaged with our shy children, drawing them out of their shells by chats about Pokemon, sharing facts and stories about his personal life and generally just being a lovely person. He recommended a great spot for lunch we all enjoyed, and showed us shops that had things for everyone for souvenirs (even a Pokemon pack my son had been searching for across 2 countries).
He also took the beat photos we got of our entire 12-day vacation across Japan and Korea - seriously amazing photographs in beautiful spots. I would 100000% recommend him to anyone and would absolutely seek him out again if we go back to Seoul.
5 days before my daughter and I travelled to Korea, I messaged Awesome Tour and communicated with Hun (the owner of Awesome Tour) through WhatsApp. I sent him our itinerary - arrived Incheon Airport on Thursday evening and the next day flight was not until Friday evening. At first, we wanted to book the flexible night tour but Hun was very helpful in answering my questions and concerns. He convinced me to switch to the day tour instead and that we would have enough time to see places before getting dropped off at the airport. Since my daughter is crazy about Korean skincare products, Hun also suggested for us to stay in Myeondong so we could enjoy the night market on our own and to be able to shop at Olive Young and some other shops that sell skincare products. We listened to his advice and had the best time at the Myeondong night market. We were picked up on time the next morning by Hun in a large and comfortable vehicle. We were picked up at 7.15 am and were dropped off at the airport by 2.30 pm. In that 7 hours, we were able to visit Jogyesa Temple, Gyeongbokgung Palace, Bukchon Hanok Village, Namsan Tower and Gwangjang Market. Hun is the best tour guide anyone could have asked for. He is friendly, funny, knowledgeable and famous (he knows everybody!!). The whole time we were touring, we felt like we were with a good friend. It was filled with laughters and great conversation of the difference in the culture and lifestyles. The trip was not rushed, we took our own sweet time and Hun took great pictures of us! We wanted to wear Hanbok so he brought us to the place which had a reasonable price and took less than 20 mins to dress both of us up. At Gwangjang Market, we braved our hearts and did the wildest thing ever! He taught us how to eat the beef tartare with chopped live octopus and raw egg yolk. It was delicious and fresh! He also bought us twisted glutinous rice donut (Chaapsal Kkwaebegi) which tasted amazing! I am smiling while typing this thinking of the beautiful time we had in Seoul. We miss Hun already! We will definitely book Awesome Tour again next time. Thank you so much, Hun!
This was such a wonderful private tour and perfect for our 13 hour layover in Incheon. Soo was our guide for the day and he did a great job communicating with us prior to our arrival and came to the airport terminal to pick us up.
The vehicle was a large mini van and very comfortable for our family of four plus luggage. He customized the day for our interests - we saw the Starfield Library, Gyeongbokgung Palace (including renting hanboks, Korean traditional attire which was so amazing for photos), Bukchonhanok village (where we had traditional Korean chicken soup and rice) and went shopping, and finally Myeongdong Street (Roof cat me cafe). The cat cafe was incredible and my cat loving daughter was in heaven! Then Soo took us back to the airport with plenty of time to make our evening flight. All in all just an amazing day - he was incredibly kind, patient and personable and his English js also excellent. Thanks so much Soo!

The six destination private tour was excellent. Our tour guide, Moon, was exceptional in his English speaking skills, driving ability and knowledge of Korean history and culture. As senior citizens, we really appreciated Mr. Moons friendly and caring assistance with shopping, minimizing line wait times and securing the best positions to see the sights.
We had a wonderful day. Moon went out of his way to ensure everything went perfectly. Being from Korea he had an in-depth knowledge of the history of Korea and the sites we visited. We highly recommend him and the tour.
From the beggining, we felt very special. Even before we left the USA, the company manager, Hun, messaged us to say how excited he was that we chose his company and promised a tour and a guide "second to none". This turned out to be so true. Soon after messaging back and forth, our tour guide, Soo, messaged us to say welcome and coordinate the details. Both Hun and Soo were the most personable and friendly folks we could have ever asked for. Even though we had only just messaged, we felt like we had been friends for years. The day after we arrived in Seoul, Soo met us and the real friendship started. Soo has a bubbly, outgoing personality that immediately captured our hearts. His knowledge was/is unequalled but more importantly, the manner in which he presented that knowledge, made us feel like we were actually living the history not just hearing it. Not only was the presentation factual, we were immersed in personality...Soo really loves his job and it showed. He also was genuinely interested in our stories too. We talked for hours as he took us everywhere. Soo even took us to a special place in the traditional and historic villiage that he reserved for a special few.
We were truely enriched. All of the places we went, were amazing.
I cannot say enough to convey our feelings about this tour, our guide soo, and his boss, Hun.

Taylor was amazing! This was the best decision we made for our short trip in Seoul. He was very accommodating to our schedule, especially with two young kids, and a great help through out our 8 hours together. We learned a lot about the history of Korea and the places we visited (I even noticed other random people starting to follow us during the palace tour to listen to his insights). My kids grew very fond of him as well and loved asking him questions. By the end of the tour, we felt like we got to see the city with a friend rather than a stranger. He made sure we got all the highlights of the city, including shopping, and he was proactive in translating for us and helping us navigate busy streets. He not only showed us the main sites, he insured we were efficiently seeing everything, which helped us maximize our time. I would highly recommend him for your next visit to Seoul!
