Highly Recommended tour and guide!
I’d highly recommend this DMZ tour with Nancy! She was an excellent guide, kept everything running smoothly and on time, was full of information and knowledge. Among the best tour guides we’ve had while traveling. This tour included everything in the description. The lunch was at our own cost, but was quite good and authentic. The bus was clean and well equipped. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend this tour for the future! Go Team Nancy!

Don’t miss the DMZ on your trip to Korea
Wow, what a spectacular DMZ tour! I highly recommend Jay from PLK Travel. She was informative and energetic, and looked out for our safety and schedule. We were so fortunate to get to do everything on the itinerary, including the mountain bridge, Dora Observatory, and 3rd brigade tunnel. The views at the DMZ were very clear! Don’t miss out on this important part of Korean history and hope for peace.

Informative and interesting
It was informative and interesting. It was great to hear from the North Korean refugee on the bus. The tunnel was very hard and I would have avoided that if I had realised how difficult it was physically. The rest was all great! The host Han marvellous. Except he never sent the group photo from front of the DMZ sign he promised to send everyone…. But that is a small thing. It is a long day but worth it.

Wonderful
Nancy was amazing from start to finish. She guided us through the DMZ and shared so much history in a way that was easy to follow and actually engaging. You can tell she really cares about what she does. She was also incredibly kind, patient, and just overall pleasant to be around, which made the whole experience even better. I’d definitely recommend her to anyone visiting.

  • The area is a must-see for history buffs but you can only visit accompanied by a tour guide; no independent visits are permitted.

  • Choose a full- or half-day DMZ tour, lasting between 6 and 10 hours.

  • Don't forget your passport, as you'll need it for a security check.

  • Dress conservatively and avoid wearing any "commercial" military clothing.
