Wonderful Experience

We had 2 local guides, both very friendly, knowledgeable, and hilarious! We really enjoyed the tour and they provided us with a tarp to better see the bioluminescence as the moon was bright. Would definitely recommend! Get ready to take your shoes off and be covered with a bit of mud while walking to the bay and getting on the kayak!

Amazing!

Great trip, one of the coolest we had been on

This is a great trip. The meeting area is very clean and organized with a food/drink pop up and restroom. There are multiple companies running the tour and lots of people but they all manage it very well and the whole trip is well organized. After a brief kayak do’s and don’ts they take you to the kayaks and then you go in a single file line kayaking through beautiful mangroves and “hammocks” until you get to the bay. You all stay together until it gets dark, then they put a tarp over your heads and you can see the glow when you swish your hands in the water. It may be visible during other times without that, but we appreciated the effort. The kayaking back is pitch dark and we thought very exciting. You can see the glow from the paddles hitting the water. We would very highly recommend!

Pick Pure Adventure, you will not be disappointed!

I am so glad we chose to experience this with Pure Adventure! Going through the mangroves while it was still light allowed us to see this amazing and unusual area, and getting to the bay before all the other groups allowed for some quiet time. If you go, you will get wet, and you will have to pay attention and paddle. Totally worth it and I highly recommend. Amaury, Eli, Michael, Felix and Javier were all great.

Exciting bioluminescent kayak adventure

The guides give good instructions at the beginning. There is a bathroom facility available and parking onsite. Can be physically demanding if current is strong. They have eco friendly bug spray, provide water and snacks for afterwards. It’s very dark but you can see the red lights of the kayaks in front of you. Amazing bioluminescence in the dark canals, very exciting and it was right after it rained.

Very fun day . Amauri & Jamila’s were terrific guides for the rainforest. Keisha, Miguel, Lorri Brian & Daniel were fun guides for the bioluminescent kayak tour. A well paced day. The restaurant for dinner was really good- great atmosphere. All guides were polite and new their history.

Partial refund rejected

I understand that we were not able to reach 24 hours prior to the event, but it was last minutes kids fell sick. I called them and they offered to talk to the owner to consider at least partial refund because we were a large group and we paid almost $650 for all of us. This is a courtesy request because of the huge amount involved.

Lovely Adventure

We had such a great time! It is so cool kayaking in the dark- seeing the stars. We had pretty great visibility in the water, they have a moment where they put you under a tarp to see the lights even brighter in the water and it’s pretty magical. Excellent kayaking and snorkeling experience

The kayak and snorkeling experience was wonderful. Joshua was our guide and he was very knowledgeable about the ecosystem and the marine life in the area. The snorkeling was amazing. You can just swim to reefs from the beach and we saw a lot of different types of marine life. Would highly recommend.
