We had a great time at our bio bay tour with Emma! She was very knowledgeable and a great communicator. The stars and the bay were breathtaking. Highly recommend if you’re looking for a wonderful experience that is not too strenuous.

Our driver was cool and our guide Alessi was very funny and charismatic. Would really recommend this to anyone!

The bioluminescent Bay was amazing, our tour guy did not give us much free time to experience the bay. 3/4 of our time on the water were holding onto other kayaks, listening to our tour guide.

The Alikei adventure biolumiecence tour was beyond magical. Seeing the bioluminescence in person was beautiful and the team went above and beyond to make it a fun and memorable experience. Our tour guide Diana was awesome and our driver even helped us make sure we were able to get a ride back to our hotel after the tour.

Emma and Diana were awesome! Emma really knew her Biobay fun facts and Diana got us down the terrible roads without killing us. Would love to go again.

Underwhelming our tour guide was very low energy. Watching other tours come and go made me wish I had booked with them instead.

I'd definitely recommend this. Our guides were great, (for us, its only really visible under certain conditions) the glow was super visible, and the instructions were clear. It was my and my sisters first time kayaking, and it was enjoyable and simple. I'm going to bring more family next time I come to puerto rico. Thank you!

Try and get a moon free night. All levels of canoeing will manage The guides are really good and information is top notch

The tour guides were friendly, fun, and kept us all safe and happy. Emma and Diana were wonderful hosts and happy to answer questions throughout the tour. The kayaks were completely clear and the whole experience was a magical 10/10. This is a bucket list experience. Don’t miss it!

Meet at the shack with a herd of horses, road to the bay looks a bit war-torn, but -wow- the experience is worthwhile and pretty great. Really appreciated Emma’s friendly demeanor, patience, and knowledge of the Bay. You’ll need to leave your shoes at the shore to protect the clear kayaks—totally worth it.

If staying in Isabel, the drive to the meet up is a little stressful at night. We drove the same road during the day, but it was much worse at night. We were on the 9pm tour, so a lot of traffic with headlights in your eyes and extremely narrow road in places, plus the horses by the side of the road. Our tour guide was mediocre at best. Can’t tell you her name because she didn’t introduce herself. When she gave us information while we were in the kayak, most of the time her voice projected away from us, we were behind her, so we couldn’t hear what she was saying. She gave us time on our own, but didn’t tell us how long or where we needed to meet back. It all worked out, but wasn’t as enjoyable as I expected.
I would use an operator that has a meet up in town

It was amazing! You will get wet! Very educational.
Great host! Will do it again and again when I come back!

Amazing experience. The bio luminescence in the bay was beautiful. The staff was very friendly and helpful. It was a clear moonless night, perfect for this experience.

Incredible experience!
Wear swimsuit bottoms and expect to get a little damp. The road getting there is crazy, but totally worth it worth it! This tour with the clear kayaks was amazing he best idea!

Not great if moon is bright. We knew we wouldn’t see much close to the full moon, but fully expected tarps to be provided as that seems to be the norm. None were provided. We barely saw anything. Spoke the next day to others who went out the same night with a different company (Jak’s) and they spoke about all the creatures they saw under the tarps! My kids were disappointed and so was I.

The staff was on time which was very important so we could catch the ferry. The pick up point was just a pebbled area with a few benches by the name of it I assumed it was a restaurant, The time in the water was beautiful and the time flew by. Our guide,Ellie was very knowledgable about the conservation and the bio bay. We all wished we could be out there longer. If you have someone over 300 lbs in your group I suggest that you request a single kayak or have them with someone who is under 100 lbs.

It was an amazing experience with the right tour! They use the see through Kayak which made the experience so much better and our guide was also very good!

We had a great time! Other reviews from different companies mentioned having to walk long ways barefoot or just spending 20 minutes on the Lagune. This company did none of that. We only walked a few feet down to the water without shoes and spend a good amount of time on the water. Out tour guide was also very laid back and calm which enhanced the experience compared to others who were hyping everyone up. Really not needed to enjoy the stars above and below. The luminescence was very bright and the clear kayaks made the water glitter underneath you. Would definitely choose this company again!

This was such a cool experience! The bioluminescence was amazing and our guide (Emma?) was excellent. It would have been nice to have more time on the water, but the drive from the meeting point to the bay is slow and eats up a good portion of the time given the condition of the road, so this is understandable.
My only piece of advice is that I would not recommend walking from Esperanza to the meeting point….it’s not far, but it was a little treacherous in the dark between the lack of sidewalks/streetlights, cars speeding around curves, and massive piles of wild horse poop. Rent a golf cart or get a taxi instead!

The water wasn’t as blue as it is in photos but it’s still blue. Guides were awesome and shared interesting facts.

Fun experience. Pick up was a bit confusing. There wasn’t a clear sign and since the pick up location was a dark Parking lot we weren’t sure we were in the correct location.
Julia_K, Mar 2026
Great experience - the tour guides were efficient and knowledgeable. We were worried about this as it was a very windy day, but the bay was calm. The kids enjoyed it as much as we did.
Issa_M, Mar 2026
Amazing experience, very well organized. I would def do it again highly recommended. They make sure you are safe and well taken care of.

Amazing experience! Highly recommend to others! Put your hand in the water and look at your hand after to see it continue to sparkle! Our tour guide was new and did an amazing job! Also did some star gazing!
Amonshope, Mar 2026
If a dark night, fish and plankton are very visible. Our guide was very informative. It rained so we could not see the stars.
Alan_L, Mar 2026
We had such a wonderful time on the bioluminescence kayak tour! Emma was amazing—so friendly and welcoming—and even took the time to show us some constellations in the night sky, which made the experience extra special. Our driver was also great and made us feel safe the whole time.
There were a few other tour groups out there, so it can get a little noisy, but that didn’t take away from the magic at all. We were traveling with our 10-year-old and felt completely comfortable, even traveling at night.
A tip for anyone going: if you can, visit the park during the day first. It’s just a few dollars to check out the beaches and get familiar with the area. At night, the drive in can feel a little sketchy if you haven’t been there before, but seeing it in daylight makes the experience feel much easier and more relaxed.
Sarah_C, Mar 2026
Amazingly beautiful bioluminescence. Guide on the kayak tour was nice but her talks during the kayaking breaks seemed canned.
Response from Host, Mar 2026
Glad you guys had a good time with us ! the tour is oviously guided so we do give all the same information on all the tours but we do give it different everytime and with jokes and personality. The guides have to stay professional to keep everything on time, so with as much wind as there was yesterday it was alot more important to get all the information out in time and keep the group together:) so if it seemed a little rehearsed it was just us trying to give the tour in time but also keep everyone together and safe . If you didnt notice Yesterday was super windy and we had some inexperienced kayakers so just keeping the group going in the same direction was a challenge
Miranda_S, Mar 2026
Such an amazing experience and wouldn’t have been the same without our guide Diana! Truly unforgettable thank you!! -Miranda & Jeorjia :)
