We meet across the street from the sunbay beach entrance/sign our hours change with the seasons ,but our meeting time will always be *25mins before your tour time:) EXAMPLE: your tour time is 7pm we will meet you at 6:35pm or if your tour is 7:30pm we meet 7:05pm same applies to all tour times :)

- Note, Vieques is a seperate island from puerto rico make sure you plan ferry/flight tickets to the island 2/3weeks in advance
- service animals allowed only if they are small enough to sit on your lap in the kayak
- Weight limit is about 260 per person. we have 2 person kayaks with max weight as 400lbs the weight needs to distributed between 2 people for the kayaks to not flip. if you have someone over 260lbs please let us know
- This tour/activity will have a maximum of 12 travelers

We had a great time at our bio bay tour with Emma! She was very knowledgeable and a great communicator. The stars and the bay were breathtaking. Highly recommend if you’re looking for a wonderful experience that is not too strenuous.

Great experience! If you travel with an odd group, the extra person will pair up with someone else (everyone on the tour was nice). The clear kayak bottoms are beautiful to see the bioluminescence when you're kayaking through the water (disturbing the water is what makes it so that you can see them).
You don't need to pack bug spray (or just get reef safe options) as the bay wasn't super bug-y. Wearing darker clothes with a swimsuit under would also be preferred as the dinoflagellates appear best when it's completely dark.
You will get wet. Wear water shoes. Amazing to see the Milky Way and bioluminescence. Wish come back soon
BioBay is awesome! we saw star constellations and our tour guide was great at explaining why the bat glows, the history behind it and making sure everyone was together the whole time
This was such an awesome experience! The guide was so knowledgeable and kind! The water was sparkling around us, it felt like we were kayaking in the stars! Beautiful experience!
This was absolutely INCREDIBLE!!! I heavily debated doing this as I really wasn’t sure I had the money but omg am I glad we did it!! Truly the type of experience that nothing could describe you just have to do it!!

sooooo cool! tour guides were nice, helpful, funny, and knowledgable. i recommend going on a new moon day to help with seeing the bioluminescence. great experience
Definitely worth doing make sure theres no full moon that night . Our tour guide was great told us alot and showed us alot of cool stuff
Be prompt and ready to kayak... it was fun to do at night! The guides were nice, knowledgeable and you can tell they really enjoy what they do. Plan your ferry and taxi in advance...we did the 7:30pm time slot and was able to catch the 9:30pm ferry back no problem.
We had such an amazing time. Our 8 year old was amazed by what she saw. I can't swim, so I was apprehensive about the whole thing, but there was no need! Joshua was patient, his information was so I interesting and he eased your nerves. I would recommend this to anyone and everyone!
The bio organisms aren't very visible. I don't think it was worth the money. Kayaking at night was a fun experience, being able to see the clear sky and constellations was fun. But not worth it if you can barely see the micro-organisms. Met someone who booked the excursion through another company and their company called to let their customer know that it won't be visible enough to be worth it and refunded their money....but not this company.
Our guide Alex was amazing and the whole experience was truly awesome inspiring. You can't beat these clear kayaks, it was like watching stars under you. Highly recommend. Kids loved it, wife loved, would do it again in a heartbeat.
Book this tour!!! It was amazing! Our guide was very knowledgeable about the bay and even showed us the milky way and other constellations while out there. He was kind, patient and funny! I would recommend this company! We did the 8:30pm and it was pitch dark out by 7:30ish. He took us to different areas of the bay and then gave us about 10 minutes to explore the middle of the bay by ourselves. I think anyone thinking about booking should just book it was so amazing!
Very safe and guided tour! Pick up.was on time . Check in was hasslefree too amd they provide. With all.the necessary equipment.
Beautiful experience! Got lucky and got to see so much! Josh and the rest of the team were very good. His teammate explained the history of the area, the stars and the dinoflagelltes. We saw them as we paddled underneath the clear kayak and as the paddles traveled through the water. Wish it been longer!
Be sure your reservation request is received, accepted ( not rejected ) and on the books with your event provider well in advance of your check in date.
I had to make 3 attempts to get a desired day & time booked in Puerto Rico for a kayak tour at night. Got rejected twice... approved finally. But, got a call from the provider that their calendar showed an incorrect date.
Needed to re- reserve twice.
Finally got set up.

Excellent tour with a super friendly and knowledgeable guide. This was an adventure from the bus ride to the kayaking. The team managed the time extremely well. The bioluminescent water was amazing and super bright ✨️

This better than the experience in La Parguera, the bay is much brighter and on a clear night you can even see the Milky Way! No shoes are allowed, no sandals, no water shoes because they scratch the clear kayaks.
Great experience! Staff is super helpful and great communication. Water was warm and the length of the tour was just right. (Went with adult teens).
What an awesome time! Alexi was our guide, he was super knowledgeable both about the bay and the night sky. I went with my husband and 3 other friends. The entire tour stayed small and seeing the Milky Way and bioluminescence blew my mind. Definitely worth checking it out! Also clear kayaks, you can go wrong.
An unforgettable experience! Seeing the bioluminescence light up the water was absolutely magical. Definitely one of the highlights of our trip.

Awesome your, great information shared. Very prompt and professional. We had a great time and the bio was off the charts.
Unless you have a really great camera you wont get the amazing pictures, keep in mind. However for the memories and experience, it was super worth it and id do it again. Our guide shared the knowledge of the microbes and the bay itself and she even threw some astronomy in there. Would 100% recommend!
The glowing in the bay water is really cool to see. Paddling around in the dark was amazing. Recommend!

Follow their instructions and you will have an amazing time. They are all super nice and caring. Be on time, everything is extremely well organized. You don’t need kayaking experience to enjoy it. The water glows beautifully. It is breathtaking.
