Worth the try!
The hike wasn’t bad as someone not athletic 🤣. Enrique was our guide and was very informative and nice! He kept the group together and checked in often. The rope swing, cliff jumping, and waterfall is completely optional. I can’t swim and everyone made me feel comfortable! A must do in PR!

Great tour
This is a great experience. Our tour guide, Adrian, was amazing. Kids had a great time. Adults had a great time. Adrian made sure everyone was informed and safe, while also having a very exciting experience with the slides, waterfall jumping and rope swing. Definitely a lifelong memory.

Great service!
Nelson was an excellent guide - we had a wonderful experience from pickup to dropoff. We enjoyed the hike and were well cared for while traversing rivers and muddy terrain. Definitely a fun spot to rope swing or jump in the water. Thank you for the great pictures and great memories!!

My two teenagers & I had...
My two teenagers & I had a great time with Yunque Ziplining. Rey, Lori, and Luisa were awesome guides. The nature facts they shared along the way were a fun bonus. (My kids learned firsthand what termites taste like!) The scenery is beautiful and the ziplines were well-maintained. I would definitely recommend this tour!

Rafael (private tour) is the only way to go.
Rafael was amazing. He knew everyone, took us routes that others in larger groups don't go, was great with our kids, gave us a lot of history and general facts about the island and people, and ended the tour at a delicious local restaurant where he seems like a local celebrity. Couldn't be happier with the experience. If you're planning to take a tour through El Yunque, I'd say I private tour is the way to go. We saw other large gorups and they definitely didn't get the same experience as us. Five stars.

Love our tour guide, and we would have liked to see more
The touring includes and eco tour guide, a 15 min walk through the rainforest, a stop at a lookout with stunning views, a third stop to a place in the river and a last 2 hour stop at Luquillo beach, where you can eat local cuisine and go to the beach. We did some jet skiing at a reaaonable price. We thought we would go to the water slides but that is a different tour altogether.

Epic 2.5 horse back ride to the beach
The 2.5 hour ride was amazing! Our guides were Angel and Geo and they were so fun to ride with! The scenery is so beautiful and the beach ride and restaurant made it even better! I would HIGHLY recommend! This is my second ride and I plan on repeating every time I return to PR. Do it! You won’t regret it!

Amazing experience!
What an absolutely amazing experience!
There are lots of reviews out there, and I agree with every positive one!
So instead of repeating every review, I'd like to add a bit of information about the trip. I am an over-thinker and over-preparer and I think there was not enough information in the description.
We were picked up right at our hotel. The driver was 5 minutes late and he texted us the arrival time which was great. We drove in a minivan for about 10 minutes tops, picking up other tourists on the way and were dropped off right at the bigger bus that took us to ferry. We met our guide (unfortunately I didn't get his name) on the bus, he was extremely nice and welcoming. He guided as from the bus to the ferry and later from the ferry to the 2 minivans that were waiting for us at the Vieques. We stopped by a nice beach for some pictures and then at another beach for some relaxation time. Our guide had beach chairs, water, and even fruits for all of us. After beach the minivans took us to the small town where we had some free time to get dinner (on your own, there are couple of restaurants in the area) and look at an amazing sunset. Our guide separated us into groups and gave us different times for the bio bay tour and told us where to meet (that's one part that had me confused - did people who went earlier had more time at the bio bay or they finished earlier?)
Note: we were told we'll need water shoes and bug spray, but the bio bay guide (every group had their own bio bay guide) told us no shoes (they scratch clear kayaks) and no bug sprays (they hurt water creatures). There were no bugs btw. After the bio bay we were back on the minivan, drove to the ferry, took the ferry back to the main island and the bus took us to our hotel. We left our hotel at 11 and arrived back around 12.
The inly negative I can say about this experience - on the Vieques the minivans didn't have enough sits for everyone, so we had to scooch over, and one person had to seat on the floor. That felt very unsafe.
I would recommend having a change of clothes with you - after day at the beach and in the kayaks - spending ride back in AC with wet back was not fun.
Overall it was one of the best excursions I ever took, and very well organized! Even my teens were very impressed and were not bothered by long drives.

Awesome Time!
Adri and Daniel were awesome Tour guides, I loved them. They explained what we would be doing and guided us along the way. When I or my young daughter needed help with climbing, they were right there!
Please note: This tour is NOT for you if walking, or climbing is too much but if you can handle go experience, I loved it and it wasn't too long. This was my 2nd time in El Yunque and I loved that I was in a completely different area than when I visited my first time.

Highly Recommend - Great Guide and Fun Tour
Highlight of our time in Puerto Rico! Matthew was a great guide and the personalised trip made our experience in Yunque perfect. He provided a customised trip based on our preferences, and offered interesting information and asides that demonstrated his in-depth knowledge about the rainforest/region. Yunque herself was amazing and showed off on her own :) but it was nice to experience on this stress-free, relaxed tour. I felt I learned a lot about the rainforest in a fun way and left me wishing we had more time! Strongly recommend.

Amazing surf lesson with Ramos & Claire!
I absolutely loved my surf lesson with Ramos and Claire! From the very beginning, I felt 100% supported. They are both incredibly patient, encouraging, and genuinely want you to succeed and have fun.
They took the time to explain things clearly, gave personalized tips to help me improve, and constantly cheered me on in the water. Even when I wiped out or felt unsure, they stayed calm, positive, and motivating — which made a huge difference.
A big bonus: they also took photos, so I have amazing memories from the experience (and proof I actually stood up on the board 😄).
Whether you’re a complete beginner or looking to improve your technique, this surf lesson is absolutely worth it. Great energy, great teaching, and an unforgettable experience. Highly recommend surfing with Ramos and Claire!

Awesome time
I had an incredible experience ziplining in El Yunque! As a total first-timer with a pretty big fear of heights, I wasn’t sure I’d actually go through with it — but the guides completely changed that. They were so patient, reassuring, and genuinely kind that I felt safe from start to finish.
Both guides were incredibly sweet and made the whole experience feel fun instead of scary. Their instructions were clear, they checked our gear multiple times, and they never rushed us.
And of course, being up in the middle of the forest was just magical — the views, the fresh air, the sense of adventure. It’s something I’ll never forget.
If you’re nervous or new to ziplining, this is the perfect place to try it. Highly recommend!
