Overview
See the city lights of Puerto Rico on this night kayak excursion on the Condado Lagoon. You’ll be in a top-notch kayaks equipped with navigation lights, which you’ll turn on when the sun goes down. You can also paint your face and body with glow in the dark paint, so you’ll light up when the sun goes down, too. Have a blast seeing Puerto Rico in a whole new way.
- Receive a safety briefing before you start out
- The sunset tour begins at 6pm, and it will gradually get dark around 7pm
- Choose to go earlier on an afternoon trip if you like

Enjoy a unique kayaking experience, and see a different side of San Juan, with this guided LED night kayaking tour. With a small group, you’ll enjoy a more intimate experience and more attention from your guide.
Choose from different nighttime departures to fit your schedule, then make your way to the convenient departure point. Arrive early to paint and decorate yourself with the provided glow paint and glow sticks, learn about kayaking basics, and store your belongings in the complimentary lockers.
Don your life jack, board your clear-bottom and LED-equipped tandem kayaks, and follow your urban explorer guide around Condado Lagoon. Soak up the scenery, learn about San Juan and Puerto Rico, and keep your eyes open for wildlife during the 1-hour tour.

- Children must be able to sit up on there own in a seat (minimum passenger age is 3)
- Complimentary storage available, at your own risk. We are not responsible for damaged, lost, or stolen items.
- Weight limit for two guests is 400lbs and for one guest is 275lbs
- Kayaks hold 2 people.
- Please note that this experience is not the popular tourist attraction, Bioluminescent Bay.
- Must be able to step in and out of kayak. The step down is 2 feet off of dock as you enter/exit the water. Guides available to assist.
- This tour/activity will have a maximum of 18 travelers

We had an amazing time on the night kayaking experience! They started by giving us glow necklaces and face paint, which made the experience even more fun. Before heading out, we received a clear and informative tutorial on how to use the kayaks. Once we were on the water, our instructors were friendly, helpful, and shared interesting facts about the areas we paddled through. It was a unique and enjoyable experience, and we'd definitely recommend it!

I would hands down do this again! Our guides were incredibly welcoming and made us feel safe while out on the water. The glow sticks and glow paint made the adventure that much more fun.

Me and my wife were very disappointed. All the other ones we have done been much better experience. Paying 150 for legit 35 mins of kayaking wasn’t good. The other tours were much better and longer. I think that if people don’t have experience in kayaking you should have them group together not with people who know how too. It was definitely way too short due to the fact people couldn’t paddle. We did a kayaking when we first got here was worth the money. We got over a hour. I read it’s supposed be hour we didn’t get that. Sad thing we won’t even get a partial refund. Never booking again even when we come back with our kids. It wasn’t the tour guilds they did the best they could with the situation at hand.

This was a fun experience to have I wouldn’t do it again SOLO but the views were AMAZING . I wouldn’t do this again because it was truly a whole workout for me. If you have another person it would be better but solo no. I found it kinda hard to keep up with the others but the guides are nice so that’s a plus

we went at 9pm and still saw a starfish and sleeping iguana ! it was so much fun the water wasn’t choppy since it was night and it was an easy ride ! 10/10 tour guides !<3

This was a lot of fun. Being able to Kayak into the waterway and then under the bridge to the mangroves. With the glass bottom boats we were able to see some very larg fish. The face painting and tour guide are nalso a nice touch and made for some great pictures.

Not at all what I was expecting… there was no led lights illuminating the water. There was a red and green light on the top front of the kayak. The water was black. The only time we could see below was when the guide shined their headlamp down and we saw two starfish. Why not give everyone a headlamp? Where are the lights illuminating the bottom?
I also expected to see some bioluminescent anything considering the way it is marketed. We were told that’s seasonal and not really in the water we were in. I felt a bit scammed like the “glow” aspect had nothing to do with kayaking and more to do with face paint and glow stick necklaces…
The actual kayaking was truly miserable. The guide went extremely fast so no one except one couple could keep up. We went a far distance and it was not enjoyable at all because since the tour was only an hour, you had to paddle really hard to even make the distance and not get left behind, let alone hear any of the tour.
The life jackets smelled awful and even left a musky smell on my shirt after.
The only part I enjoyed was that the guides were kind and helped us get in and out.
If you’re not an athlete I wouldn’t reccomend. I’m so sore already and not a fun way to end vacation. I regret booking. Maybe a perfect activity for others but definitely not for my mom and I.

The tour guiders were so great! They made the experience 10x better and comfortable. It was a little scary and almost felt like bumper cars the way we didn’t know what we were doing lol but it was still an amazing experience with nice views.

We had a fun experience with our family and appreciated the effort of the staff, even though we knew it might rain. The night kayaking was beautiful, even if it was more like a sunset with clouds hiding the sun. While we always keep a positive attitude and make the best of it, we do wish they could have offered another night without the chance of rain to fully enjoy the experience.

Our tour guides Cheli & Mariellie were warm and welcoming to our early morning (8am Crystal Kayaking Excursion). Mariellen helped us get into & out of our kayaks and Cheli did most of the narrating. Cheli’s a very intelligent and informative guide, she took time to explain the environmental advantages of these protected bays for the manatees (which we had the fortunate opportunity to see) & the invasive iguanas taking over PR. We also saw special jelly fish too. Overall a fun time, wish we got to do the night kayaking, but that just leaves us another reason to return soon. At the end of the tour, we were airdropped photos (free) along with a list of recommended restaurants 😋 which we did use 👍🏻
