Overview
See the city lights of Puerto Rico on this night kayak excursion on the Condado Lagoon. You’ll be in a top-notch kayaks equipped with navigation lights, which you’ll turn on when the sun goes down. You can also paint your face and body with glow in the dark paint, so you’ll light up when the sun goes down, too. Have a blast seeing Puerto Rico in a whole new way.
- Receive a safety briefing before you start out
- The sunset tour begins at 6pm, and it will gradually get dark around 7pm
- Choose to go earlier on an afternoon trip if you like

Enjoy a unique kayaking experience, and see a different side of San Juan, with this guided LED night kayaking tour. With a small group, you’ll enjoy a more intimate experience and more attention from your guide.
Choose from different nighttime departures to fit your schedule, then make your way to the convenient departure point. Arrive early to paint and decorate yourself with the provided glow paint and glow sticks, learn about kayaking basics, and store your belongings in the complimentary lockers.
Don your life jack, board your clear-bottom and LED-equipped tandem kayaks, and follow your urban explorer guide around Condado Lagoon. Soak up the scenery, learn about San Juan and Puerto Rico, and keep your eyes open for wildlife during the 1-hour tour.

- Weight limit for two guests is 400lbs and for one guest is 275lbs
- Kayaks hold 2 people.
- Please note that this experience is not the popular tourist attraction, Bioluminescent Bay.
- Must be able to step in and out of kayak. The step down is 2 feet off of dock as you enter/exit the water. Guides available to assist.
- This tour/activity will have a maximum of 18 travelers

The glow-in-the-dark kayaking tour was a lot of fun. Olda and Chelli made the experience great — Chelli was funny and helpful, and Olda kept everything organized. I’d recommend this tour to anyone visiting!

I did night kayaking with my boyfriend and I will say it was fun! There are two guides, one that will go ahead with the faster group and one that will stay behind with the slower guys, which is perfect because we were ready to go ahead. They tell you about the manatees in the area and where the original piña colada was made and such. It is a great activity to do with your friends, family, or partner. The water was great, hopefully you plan on a night where the skies are clear- because the water may get choppy if it’s windy or raining. But either way I would recommend this experience because we had a great time!

If it’s a night time kayak tour with a pretty large group don’t bother trying to show us marine life. Just let us enjoy an evening peaceful kayak. We spent more time stopping to look at nothing than kayaking. Way too expensive to paddle a very short distance. The guides seemed ambivalent at best about being there so energy also wasn’t great

This was the most fun activity I did in Puerto Rico yet!
Not only is there a little guide on how to pedal but there are also complementary glow in the dark glow sticks and also complementary glow in the dark face paint that you put on your body. You also get life vest with zippers where you could put your phone in as well.
It was super fun in the water was super calm so the currents were not crazy. However, it is an arm workout so please if you do go make sure you either go with someone that is strong or who knows the correct techniques.

Awesome and fun experience for all ages! I brought my 7 year old daughter and we had a great time! I also want to mention that the customer service was truly amazing. While on my trip my daughter fell ill the day we were supposed to go kayaking and I reached out just two hours before to ask if I could please reschedule. They immediately responded and allowed us to reschedule. I really appreciated that! Great experience overall. Absolutely recommend!

The lights and peacefulness, 9:00pm on the water was so relaxing. The guides were so patient with the kayakers that couldnt quite get the paddling down.

specifically the crew that worked 7/16/2026 with the 7:30PM group … i couldn’t remember their names, but they were GREAT!! very attentive we were actually having a hard time but did grasp the concept on the way back. The crew isn’t going to let you drift away somebody was always watching. They even let you get yourself out of sticky situations to distilled team work and communicate skills, we went into the TREESSSS lol!!! Overall OUTSTANDING! I couldn’t ask for a better tour experience. I will be returning!!!

We had an amazing time on the night kayaking experience! They started by giving us glow necklaces and face paint, which made the experience even more fun. Before heading out, we received a clear and informative tutorial on how to use the kayaks. Once we were on the water, our instructors were friendly, helpful, and shared interesting facts about the areas we paddled through. It was a unique and enjoyable experience, and we'd definitely recommend it!

I would hands down do this again! Our guides were incredibly welcoming and made us feel safe while out on the water. The glow sticks and glow paint made the adventure that much more fun.

Me and my wife were very disappointed. All the other ones we have done been much better experience. Paying 150 for legit 35 mins of kayaking wasn’t good. The other tours were much better and longer. I think that if people don’t have experience in kayaking you should have them group together not with people who know how too. It was definitely way too short due to the fact people couldn’t paddle. We did a kayaking when we first got here was worth the money. We got over a hour. I read it’s supposed be hour we didn’t get that. Sad thing we won’t even get a partial refund. Never booking again even when we come back with our kids. It wasn’t the tour guilds they did the best they could with the situation at hand.

This was a fun experience to have I wouldn’t do it again SOLO but the views were AMAZING . I wouldn’t do this again because it was truly a whole workout for me. If you have another person it would be better but solo no. I found it kinda hard to keep up with the others but the guides are nice so that’s a plus
