Was a great experience visiting both the Parmigiano Regiano cheese factory as well as the Prosciutto Di Parma factory . Our guide Fabiana has a lot of knowledge about both products. She showed extremely kind behavior answering all the questions and keeping the group motivated to learn and enjoy both experiences. I would be unfair on my evaluation if I wouldn’t mention Claudio. He is the owner and producer of the Prociutto di Parma factory visited. Very kind person and hard worker. An inspiration for all of us.

We really enjoyed our Parmigiano Reggiano factory tour. The entire experience was very interesting and gave us a fascinating look at how this incredible cheese is made. Rebecca was extremely knowledgeable and explained every step of the process clearly and engagingly. She was also very professional, kind, and made the tour even more enjoyable. A wonderful experience and definitely something I would recommend to anyone visiting the Parma area!

Great tour to visit parmigiano cheese, Parma ham and Balsamic production sites. The tour gave a great insight into the processes and was brilliantly described by our guide Mattia. The tastings were generous as was the time given to each visit. The only downside is my standards for excellence has gone up several notches!

Exceptional from Beginning to End

Exceptional from Beginning to End This tour was absolutely exceptional. Mattia was a fantastic guide, funny, engaging and incredibly knowledgeable. Having previously worked inside the factory making Parmigiano Reggiano himself, he could explain every part of the process from genuine firsthand experience. We followed the entire journey of the cheese, from the first stages of production through brining and into the extraordinary ageing room, where we saw wheels ranging from newly produced Parmigiano to varieties aged for as long as 100 months. Mattia made everything fascinating and entertaining for both me and my daughter, who is seven. The tour finished with a wonderful tasting in the garden. We sampled a younger Parmigiano alongside Parmigiano aged for 30 months, accompanied by crackers and local sparkling red wine. Being able to compare the two ages made it easy to understand how dramatically the flavor and texture develop over time. Fabio, our driver, was also excellent, extremely professional, friendly and accommodating. He went the extra mile to make our return especially convenient, which we truly appreciated. A beautifully organized, informative and memorable experience. I would highly recommend this tour to adults and families alike.

What an awesome tour to understand and truly appreciate parmigiano reggiano, prosciutto de Parma and balsamico tradizionale! Filippo picked us up at the train station and provided an awesome tour of Emilia Romagna’s very special food heritage. We learned so much from Filippo, he was a great host. We visited amazing small producers and learned first hand about their labor of love. So much work and dedication goes into these products that so many of us around the world cherish and love. Everything was very professional and thorough. We couldn’t have asked for more! Def recommend this tour. Private and intimate; spending time with producers and Filippo answering all your questions while tasting delicious products with local wine. Incredible 5 star tour!

Wonderful authentic experience.

I highly recommend traveling out in the country to experience this cooking class. Beautiful ride through the countryside. Virginia and Nadia are wonderful hosts. Virginia speaks English and was very gracious! We made ravioli and tagliatelle. They treated us to a wonderful appetizer of fresh prosciutto and Parmesan cheese with homemade bread. Sangiovese was superb! Then we ate our ravioli and tagliatelle and finished with a wonderful tiramisu ice cream dessert. I highly recommend!

An incredibly special way to spend time in Parma, Italy!

We had an incredible half-day experience with Eliza - she was truly remarkable. Her encyclopaedic knowledge of both geography and food, especially the Parmesan and Parma ham facilities we visited, was astounding. She was dynamic and funny and warm and entertaining and it made for a very special day for my daughter and for me. Best tour ever!

This was one of the highlights of our trip. We visited small artisanal producers of Parmesan cheese and Prosciutto di Parma and loved getting to see the traditional process up close. It was fascinating to learn how much care and craftsmanship goes into making these incredible foods, and of course the tastings were amazing! Larish was a fabulous tour guide—knowledgeable, friendly, and clearly passionate about the region and its food. He made the experience fun and engaging the entire time and shared so many interesting details we never would have known otherwise. If you enjoy authentic local food experiences, this tour is a must. We loved every minute and would highly recommend it!

Great tour

This was an enjoyable and informative experience. Matteo was excellent explained a complex process in easy to understand words. Both sites were well organized and we enjoyed meeeting the owners of the facilities.
