The guides were very knowledgeable and pleasant and the stops were well chosen and quaint. Our only complaint would be our driver who must have been late getting home, could not understand a word of english and had a little attitude. Other than that we had a great time and would highly recommend.

This tour is truly one of those rare occasions in life when you get more than you paid for. Over the course of 7 hours we visited three different private producers to taste parmigiano cheese, Parma ham, and traditional Modena balsamic vinegar. Our driver/guide, Paolo, was a font of knowledge and a friendly face who drove us around for more than an hour in total. Each stop was excellent, with an in-depth explanation of the production process followed by a generous tasting and the opportunity to purchase products directly from the producing family. The details were well-organized, such as the use of radio headsets and the itinerary that went from the longest process (cheese) to the shortest (vinegar).

Fantastic tour, very informative.Mateo was excellent. Pick up and drop off on time. All three tours were great.

In-depth experience related to parmegianno cheese and prosciutto. We had a very friendly, knowledgeable guide.

We loved every minute of the tour - knowledgeable, tastings and experience. An experience of Parma and Modena - fantastic. Bravo!!

This was a fantastic experience. Our guide was excellent and was very thorough in guiding us through the intricacies of the Parmagiano cheese making process and also Prosciutto di Parma. You really begin to appreciate the skill and care that goes into these wonderful products. The Balsamic vinegar part of the tour provided tastings of the different types and ages. The nuances in the flavors were enhanced by a thorough explanation of each. Very worthwhile. I would recommend this tour to anyone that loves Italian food.

We had a great time learning more about Parmigiano Cheese, Parma Ham and Balsamic vinegar! Our guide and driver, Sergio was very knowledgeable and shared with us loads of interesting information.

The parmigiana and Parma tours were excellent! However, the balsamic tour/tasting was disappointing. The woman spoke far too fast to understand much. It was more of a tasting to encourage purchasing.

This is a fabulous experience from beginning to end. We learned so much and ate & drank great food & wine! Roberto was a wealth of knowledge and quite humorous.😁 We had never been to Modena, so we did that extension and it did not disappoint! This is definitely a worthwhile and tasty tour!

Way Overpriced. 6-7 hour tour with no lunch provided. Limited restroom breaks.
Parmesan Reggiano facility excellent. Tour guide excellent.
Prosciutto facility was interesting.
Modena balsamic tour was terrible. The guide was terrible. She rushed the tour and spoke with a heavy Italian broken English that was not easy to understand.
I recommend not booking this tour

Great tour featuring all the delicacies of the Emilia Romagna Region. Nice tasting with Lambrusco wine. Interesting see how all the products are made. Would recommend!

This was a fantastic detailed tour, and we learned so much about the history and process of Parmigiano Reggiano, Parma ham, and balsamic vinegar. Our guide Lorenzo was knowledgeable and fun. Pick up in Parma was smooth, the van was comfortable, and the drive in between locations was beautiful. There were small tastings at each stop: cheese & dried bread with sparkling wine, freshly cut Parma ham with bread and red wine, and spoons of different balsamic vinegars. I’d suggest packing water and a snack if doing the full day tour - we were quite hungry by the time we made it back to the drop off point.

Our combined travel family was so graciously accomodated and we learned so much while having great fun.

Matthias was fabulous - so knowledgeable and friendly and with great sense of humor! The bus was well air conditioned and comfortable.

Tour guide was great. He had personal vocational experience with cheese making. The balsalmic employee was difficult to understand
Donna_F, Sep 2025
Our driver and guide Matteo was wonderful. We were somewhat disappointed that are group of 8 in the van tuned into a group of 20 touring the parmigiana and prosciutto factory. It was still a wonderful experience though and made me truly appreciate the differences between authentic DOP!!!

Very nice tour and great guide. A fair amount of standing and walking. Worth the price. Would do it again.

Exceptional tour.
Lorenzo was knowledgeable, friendly, and has great relationships with the producers that enhanced our day.
Highly recommend.
Janice_H, Aug 2025
Wonderful experience! Our animated guide shared inside stories and chatted with us during the drive.
We watched the cheese making process from start to finish which was enhanced with the tasting of cheese and local wines.
We saw prosciutto being cured through the stages and ended the tour with breads, prosciutto and wine or water. That was yummy enough, but then we headed to the balsamic vinegar ware house. Never knew there were so many choices! We even tasted a 25 year old vintage.
Our taste buds were educated during the total experience and we made friends sharing food. A great day!

Tour was very in-depth and informative. Loris our tour guide was well experienced, friendly, fun and answered questions professionally. This was a fantastic day out and a must when in Parma. Keep up the good work guys.

My wife and I thoroughly enjoyed this tour. Not only was the food amazingly delicious, our tour guide Loris was very knowledgeable, entertaining, and charming. I highly recommend you take this tour!

A wonderful and educational experience learning about the authentic Emilia-Regiano products. Everyone was informative and friendly.
Cristen_M, Jul 2025
It was amazing to experience the production process of Parmigiano Reggiano, proscuitto, and balsamic. Our guide, Mattia, was very knowledgeable and fun!
Edward_R, Jun 2025
The tour was longer than we anticipated, but it was certainly worth it. The visit to the Reggiano Parmigiano, Prosciutto de Parma, and balsamic vinegar producers was exceptional and should never be missed.
Loretta_F, Jun 2025
Don't miss doing this tour! Mateo was so fun. Every place we went the families who owned the factories programs were so gracious. Tour was with about 8 ppl. Which made it very nice. Everything was top notch The places we went were either the oldest owned or small family operations which made it even better. Highly recommend!!!
Kathy_A, May 2025
The tour involves a stop at a large Parma processing plant where you will learn how parmesan is made and get to taste amazing parmigiano reggiano. Next you will travel to a nearby family owned prosciutto company where you'll see how prosciutto is aged and then you get to meet the man responsible for the most amazing prosciutto ever. Lastly you will visit a balsamic producer and learn much about the aging process. We sampled over 10 different balsamic vinegars. One better than the next. Such an amazing day! Our tour guide Piedro was absolutely fabulous and shared a ton of information about Parma. I highly recommend this tour!

This was a wonderful introduction to the charms of Parma and Modena.
We had an in-depth and fascinating tour of a Parmesan factory in Parma and a prosciutto factory in Parma together with a balsamic vinegar factory in Modena. Highly interesting and very informative. Plenty of food to taste!
AnthonyA_S, May 2025
Our guide Mati was very informative and personable. We enjoyed learning about the process and proud heritage of Parmigiano Reggiano Cheese makers, as well as, the Parmigiano ham curing process, and balsamic vinegar aging. The tastings were yummy and generous. Definitely a must do stop in Parma.
KimberleBadinelli, May 2025
This was a wonderful day. My only suggestion would be to add a quick lunch into the full day experience. But the guides were amazing-funny, caring and very well informed!
