The tour said it was 3 hrs but only ended up to be 2 tours. The guide wasn’t very passionate about the tour which was disappointing

Barbara the guide has a good knowledge of history and told us many interesting facts about the city of Parma. The tour’s final with the cheese tasting was a must! Pretty much recommended!

Tour was supposed to be in English but it was both English and Italian. The guide spoke the majority of the time in Italian because there were more Italian speaking people than English speaking. This more than doubled the time at each site so the number of sites visited was diminished. Was very disappointing tour.

Excellent guide with lots of interesting information. Not sure whether bilingual approach worked as it meant either the Italian or English speakers were hanging round for 5-10 minutes while she spoke in the other language. Overall very informative with lots of suggestions for further things to do. Parmesan tasting a bonus at the end.

We enjoyed the tour in Italian and English. As we are students of Italian it was good to hear the two languages. We understood most of the explanations in Italian and filled in the gaps with the English explanations. We visited many significant venues and after the tour took or time going into some of the places.

This is a great way to learn the places to visit. Gulia was very knowledgeable and did a nice job explaining us the history of the locations. You need to plan additional time to visit sites since this does not include going inside many of the sites we visited.

If I could give our tour guide, Elisabetta 10 stars I would! We were the only ones on the tour and she was very accommodating. It started to rain and she was kind enough to run and get umbrellas from her car. Due to rain we ended up in the museum so as to stay out of the weather. She was very knowledgeable about the paintings and shared all kinds of information regarding the artwork we would have never known!

The experience consisted of a tour of about 1.5 hours in the historic center of the city. The walk was pleasant and allowed us to orient ourselves and see the main historical and artistic monuments of Parma. Unfortunately, however, the guide was not always clear in the exhibition and sometimes not even too precise. (It would also have been nice to have more group involvement). For the cost of the guided tour (22 € per person) we would have expected more expertise and more care.

Het is altijd fijn om een stad te ontdekken met een gids. Ook deze keer in Parma. Fijn om achtergrond informatie te krijgen over de gebouwen, de bewoners en de geschiedenis.
Jammer dat de tour tweetalig was: de Italiaanse versie vd verhalen en informatie was beduidend langer dan de Engelse. Dat betekende dat we steeds lang moesten wachten om de kortere info in het Engels te krijgen.
