The tour was fantastic! I would love to do it again. Mattia was a great tour guide - friendly and knowledgeable and we even got recommendations of what local foods we should try after the tour.
It was so interesting to see how Parmiggiano was made and it smelled delicious. We also did have the best prosciutto of our life on this tour. It really gives you an inside look of the love, craftmanship, and care that comes with making these products.

The Parmeggiano tour was ok. The ham tour was not worth the trip . It was very basic and difficult to hear and understand

This was the tour that I didn’t know that I needed to take. Wow, how fun and informative this was. I will never look at Parmesan cheese or prosciutto the same way again. My husband and I now delve into all of the intricacies that go into making both of these wonderful foods. Our tour guide was so knowledgeable about the process and of course the area of Parma. We had a fun group there were eight of us in total. I would completely recommend this to anyone who is interested in how the cheese and hams are prepared and if I’m being honest, the taste testing at the end was pretty good too!

We visited Parma for our first time and wanted the “full effect” of what the area has to offer. This tour of the cheese and prosciutto factory did just that! Our tour guide a retired engineer was very knowledgeable and witty in his own way. The samplings at both factory were a real treat and beyond —delizioso! We got to meet the owner of the prosciutto factory and he took great pride in his product. Overall a great experience and a must do if you are in the Parma area.

The tours of Reggiano cheese and Parma Ham is a must if in Parma. Our guide Mateo was knowledgeable and super friendly. We love learning about the creation of these two incredible Italian staples in any home. Even got some delicious cheese to bring back to US.

The cheese and ham tour were fabulous. Our guide was very knowledgeable and fun. We enjoyed the tastings and especially enjoyed meeting Claudio, the owner of the Parma prosciutto business.
Ashley_M, Apr 2026
This tour was amazing! Since it was a small farm, we were able to stand right there with the cheese masters as they made the cheese, which made the experience feel so personal. With a small group of only about 12 people, it never felt crowded. Our guide was incredibly knowledgeable and answered every single question we threw at them. I’d highly recommend this experience!

Wasn't sure what to expect but this tour was perfect. Quick drive then you end up at the dairy and see the cheese production is cool, but the cheese bank is fantastic. After that head to the parma prosciutto facility and it's amazing to see the care taken by the craftsmen.

From start to finish, this tour was a delight. Sergio was a true gem with his knowledge and kind hospitality along the way. I felt like I was on a little roadtrip with family and getting to eat some of the best parmigiano and prosciutto was the cherry on top. Grazie mille for a wonderful tour!

Very nice tour! About 25-30 minutes in a 8-seater van from the meeting point to the Parmesan factory, and the ham factory was right down the street. Mostly an indoor tour, and a light jacket was nice in the cheese factory due to refrigeration. David did an excellent job as guide.
Paul_R, Apr 2026
A well run tour with easy to follow instructions for meeting point centrally located to train station. Tour was great providing insights into production and provenience!
Katie_W, Apr 2026
Wonderful tour and excellent tour guide! Our family of 7 really enjoyed the entire tour from start to finish!
Kathi_H, Mar 2026
Very interesting to learn how this was made. It was great to taste and purchase some.
We thought we would see animals but it’s only the “factory” where it’s made.
Worth the experience, just pricey for what you do.
Giovanni_L, Mar 2026
Tour guide was very knowledgeable about all things parmesan reggiano and prosciutto. Both places were very welcoming and I'd recommend to anyone
Denise_S, Feb 2026
Learning about the art of Parmesan cheese and Prosciutto really make you appreciate all the work that goes into making these wonderful foods. What a treat to be able to see this first hand!

I surprised my husband with a tour of a Parmigiano Reggiano factory and Prosciutto di Parma in Italy, and it was absolutely amazing! From start to finish, the experience was authentic, fascinating, and delicious.
Our tour guide, Loris Lestini, was outstanding, incredibly friendly, knowledgeable, and funny. He made the entire tour engaging while sharing so much insight into the traditional production processes. You can really feel the passion and pride behind these iconic Italian products.
Seeing how Parmigiano Reggiano and Prosciutto di Parma are made firsthand was unforgettable. The quality, craftsmanship, and history behind them are impressive. The tastings were generous and delicious, everything was fresh and full of flavor.
If you’re considering this tour, come hungry, curious, and ready to learn! The experience starts early to see the production process in action, so it’s worth the early wake-up. Wear comfortable shoes, as there’s some walking involved inside the facilities.
This tour is perfect for food lovers, couples, and anyone wanting an authentic taste of Italian culture beyond the typical tourist attractions. You’ll get a true behind-the-scenes look, fascinating explanations, and, of course, amazing tastings. Definitely book in advance, this is a special experience you won’t want to miss!
We would absolutely recommend this tour to anyone visiting Italy. It was truly an unbelievable experience and one of the highlights of our trip. Thank you, Loris, for making it so memorable!

This tour was absolutely awesome. From the tour guide, to both the cheese and prosciutto factories and their families opening up to show you everything it was absolutely awesome. Or as our tour group joke, it was “heaven”. Would 100% recommend

What a perfect afternoon to learn about about the importance of regional foods. Sergio is an excellent communicator and will take you on a once in a lifetime experience. You get extremely close to the food operations and see firsthand the expert craftsmanship that goes into these world class products. Can’t recommend this enough!
