This tour was as informative as it was fun and good exercise. The round trip was about 12 km and almost all flat. Davide made sure we were all safe in city traffic but much of it was on a bike path. Parma motorists are very respectful of bicyclists. The tour of the Parmigiano Reggiano “factory” was fantastic. I never knew these rounds were made all by hand. The process is fascinating. Highly recommend this tour.

It was a good outing but the other couple were not so good. Arrived late, held us up and made us end early. None the fault of the tour guide. He continued on with us after taking them back and was great and fun to talk with.

We rode bikes out of Parma into farm country and toured a cheese factory. Then we tasted cheese and then rode to a meat shop to taste fresh prosciutto.

We were disappointed with the tour. We only stopped at two places and was only three hours not four. We all agreed that on a bike we should be able to see and stop at many more places.

Carl, I'm sorry you were disappointed with the tour that day.
To be honest, that day was the hardest day of the year for me. As I had mentioned, the night before I had food poisoning and I had no energy. However, I didn't want to cancel the tour on you last minute. I tried to adjust by riding an e-bike to go a bit easy on my body but I acknowledge that I perhaps was not at my best. Nonetheless, we did complete the tour despite starting late so you could find your wallet.
Like with Parmigiano cheese, perfection doesn't exist. Best wishes, Davide

Davide was very informative and made the overall experience very enjoyable. Nice ride around the city and the country side as well. Provide good information about the area as well as the cheese factory.

Quite an enjoyable ride, not too long, mostly on bike paths, to a Parmesan cheese maker. The process was fascinating and our guide was knowledgeable and did not rush us through, so we had time to appreciate how much physical labor is involved (and why real Parmesan cheese costs so darn much).

Absolutely wonderful day. We spent 5 hours with Davide, leisurely 30 minute ride out to the cheese producer and a full tour of the facility. Davide is extremely knowledgeable, friendly and answered all of our many questions! Cheese tasting after the factory tour, then shopping if you wish for cheese, meats, honey etc . Bring money and water bottles if you like, he will provide a panier for the bike.
We then saw the local rugby field and rode around Parma seeing sights then to lunch of delicious Lambrusco and meats at a small restaurant. Back to the bike rental shop and goodbye to new friends! Thanks Davide

Amazing experience and a good hearty ride to a Parmigiana cheese factory. Followed by a trip into town to see the major sites. Then was welcome to have a sampling of aperrtivi-local ham/salami with a local wine. Simone spent a good 4 hours with us. It's his company and the pride shows through. He deserves a hearty tip for the above and beyond! James/Gioccomo

Had a great time! Davide is friendly and knowledgeable about the parmesan cheese factory. The biking through the city can be a little stressful with cars and busses and whatnot, but totally doable and Davide is attentive to the needs of the group.

We LOVED this tour! A fantastic way to get some easy exercise and get out into the Parma countryside where most Italians live and produce some of the most amazing products we all love to enjoy! Davide is an excellent tour guide. Very fluent in English and has a true love for his country and pride in the products they produce. The Parmesan tour was wonderful and very informative. Interesting lesson in cured meats. Highly recommend!

Do not hesitate to book this tour. You will never want to eat inexpensive Parmesan ever again! The guide and the tour were excellent.

Davide was fantastic! We had a lovely bike ride to a country cheese factory where Davide impressed us with all his cheese making knowledge. The tour was so interesting and the cheese tasting delicious. After, we road back to Parma for a tour of the city and lunch on Davide at a local restaurant. We so enjoyed Davide’s company and that of our fellow bikers. Definitely an adventure we would do again!

We did the 20 km ride in October; we are not cyclist so we were a little nervous. It was a nice ride and we felt safe. Davide was a great host. Very knowledgeable. He speaks English very well. Fascinating to learn and observe the process of how parmigiano is made. Also, enjoyed the prosciutto tasting part as well. Would highly recommend this.

Very recommendable experience combining a nice bike trip, a very interesting visit of the cheese manufacturing premises and process and, of course very tasty food involved!

Davide easily made this tour the best of our whole trip. He is so knowledgeable and fun and made everything perfect. The ride to the cheese factory is wonderful and the factory itself is so great to see.
We loved sitting with him and the other couple getting to learn about each other and how they live.
I highly recommend this tour for everyone. Thank you Davide for a great adventure!!!

This was an incredible experience. Davide was kind and extremely informative. I recommend choosing the morning tour, then spending the rest of the day revisiting the places you passed on the bike on foot.
The Parmigiano factory was even cooler than I expected. I’ve always wanted to visit one. The bike ride is pretty easy and a great way to see Parma. Lunch was also wonderful.
I was the only one traveling solo in the group, but Davide made me feel at home.
10/10 would recommend to anyone who is able to ride a bike!

The Parmesean Reggiano cheese factory tour was excellent. Seeing how long the process takes justifies the cost of the cheese.

This is a must-do! My boyfriend and I had a fantastic time riding bikes and learning about cheese production. Davide is incredibly knowledgeable, and the entire tour exceeded our expectations. We definitely recommend this!

Totally worth it! A must do if in the area!!! David was a wonderful guide. We had so much fun biking through the country side and through the city.

Davide made our trip to Parma so memorable and fun! We enjoyed our bike ride to the Cheese Factory and learned all about the cheese-making process. He is so knowledgeable, warm and hospitable. He made the whole experience perfect for both my teenagers and myself. And he even took us to meet up with my Mom our our route back. Highly recommend any of Davide's tours! The bike ride was on bike paths or quiet country roads, and we're all glad that we upgraded to e-bikes because we were so tired from all of our Italian walking adventures!
Stacy_b, Jun 2024
Davide was an incredible tour guide with tremendous passion and knowledge.
We had a lovely afternoon with him riding through the countryside to the parmigian factory. The tasting of cheese and meat after was just as incredible!
You can have your choice of traditional or electric bicycle. We chose electric.
Definitely book this tour.
Thank you DAVIDE!!

We had a wonderful experience biking through Parma and the countryside to a parmigiano reggiano factory for a tour and tasting. Davide is an excellent guide and put together a fantastic morning for us. Would highly recommend this!
Evan_S, Apr 2024
Davide is a wonderful guide. It is fascinating to see how Parmigiano Reggiano is made, and to see some of Parma’s most beautiful sights by bicycle. Highly recommended!
Brigette_S, Oct 2023
This 4 hour bike tour was the highlight of my trip to Italy. I haven't ridden a bike in 20 years so I was afraid to ride through the streets, but the man in charge had me practice before we went out. He told me to stay behind him just in case I needed anything. Once we started, it was a really nice ride through the streets of Italy. As soon as cars see you coming everybody stops and Everyone in the group looks out for each other. We rode into the countryside to the cheese factory, watched them make the cheese and then we tasted different aged cheeses. This one trip that I would do again. I had so much fun!
Samuel_V, Oct 2023
We enjoyed riding through the countryside of Parma very much. Riding in the city streets not so much, it is very difficult unless you are an experienced biker. The cheese learnings were very nice as was the food tasting afterword, but disappointed we did not actually see the cheesemakers producing cheese, only an empty shop with our tour guide telling us how they make it. David tour guide was very nice.
