We booked a private tour, and even when the trains went on strike, Laura—who runs the tour—went above and beyond to make sure we caught one of the few commuter trains still running. At the station, we were greeted by Filippo, our guide for the next four and a half hours, who whisked us away in his comfortable car.
The tour was incredible. We learned fascinating details about the production of authentic balsamic vinegar, true Parmigiano Reggiano, and regional prosciutto. I came away with a deep appreciation for the care and tradition that go into these Italian treasures. The pride Italians take in preserving the integrity of these processes for generations is truly inspiring.
Filippo himself was easygoing, knowledgeable, and personable—he was the icing on the cake and made the entire experience unforgettable.

We learnt so much about the processes in making Balsamic Vinegar, Parmesan Cheese & Prosciutto. Filipino took our tour and his knowledge & understanding was fabulous. The locations that we visited allowed you time to understand all the processes without being rushed.
Laura was excellent in the booking process, answering questions that I had when we booked the tour & also arranging timings for collection on the day.
I highly recommend this tour.

This was one of the best tours we have been on. Laura’s communication was always clear and very responsive. We were coming from Firenze and Laura helped make suggestions for train routes that saved us a lot of time for travel as well. They are accommodating to customizing aspects of the tour (we added a vineyard to the original itinerary). Filippo was our guide for the day. He was very friendly and knowledgeable. He has really good rapport with all the people at the stops which also added to the enjoyment. The authenticity of each of the locations we visited was one of the best parts. We visited smaller farms and a family owned winery. You will not leave this tour hungry! There were many samples of different aged parmigiano cheese and fresh ricotta to taste. The lunch at the prosciutto factory was amazing. I would recommend this tour 100% and would not hesitate to use Laura’s company again.

Amazing experience visiting small family operations. It was mind boggling to think we were standing in a small villa that housed 10% of the world’s balsamic vinegar. The Parmesan tour was great, and finally the Parma ham plant, and lunch.

Our tour was awesome. Filipino, an area native, was extremely knowledgeable not only about the three facilities we visited but also about the history of the region. He also patiently answered many general questions we had about daily “Italian” life. The small producers that we visited we fascinating experiences! We have been on many tours, all good, but this one was EXCEPTIONAL!

Our tour with Laura was great. She’s very communicative on WhatsApp and went above and beyond to help us while we had to navigate a train strike.

We enjoyed going to the Parmesan, prosciutto, and balsamic vinegar production sites. The samplings were delicious. The lunch was also delicious. Our host was knowledgeable and nice. The only surprise was that we thought we were being picked up at the train station for the day and it turned out we had to drive our own car around the countryside to the various cities. We were the only two people on the tour so I’m not sure how this would have been handled had there been more people.

I'm sorry you had to drive, but you didn't reply to my calls and my texts, so I couldn't know you were coming by car. You could have said to the guide that you would have liked to be picked up, you could have left the car parked on the way and go with the guide.

I expected a tour with other people it was a private tour all the places we went to were small private tours we met the all the owners.
Our guide Fillipo was great he knows the history of the area and was really helpful translating the language for us.
They pick you up right at where you are staying Laura was super with communicatioing before our actually tour date. We'll worth what we payed.

Laura was able to get us to the parmesan factory early enough to see the cheese being pulled from the whey! Loved the parmesan, balsamic, and ham tastings. My favorite was 25 year balsamic, not what I expected. Laura and Riccardo were knowledge and pleasant - so happy we decided on a private tour.

This tour was truly an amazing experience from start to end. Laura reached out the day prior confirming pick up time and spot. Filippo was truly an engaging tour guide who drove us around all day . We loved everything about the tour- balsamic vineyard, Parmesan Reggiano tour and Prosciutto to finish up the day was perfect! Plus the bonus lunch was delicious and a great end of the tour!

The tour was great fun and we learned so much about the processes involved in making traditional basaltic vinegar, parmasiano reggio cheese and Parma ham! Philippio was a very knowledgeable guide and we had a wonderful time. The only thing that could have been better is his car could use a good cleaning.

Enjoyed the tour and learnt more about the production process from the sharing by our guide Filippo. Bought a bottle of the traditionally made Balsamic Vinegar so that we can enjoy this back at home. Fantastic lunch where we get to taste the cheese and ham. We now have a better appreciation of the products and all the hard work that goes into producing these!

Laura and the drivers were so friendly, and Laura was so knowledgeable about all these factories and the process of how each product was produced. It was fun for the kids and us. Lunch was included. It was a very relaxing and enjoyable day yet we learned so much! Highly recommend it to everyone!

Had an amazing time with Tommaso our guide. He was knowledgeable and personable. It was a wonderful experience, to go see family producers (and not industrial producers) and even have the chance to meet with the owners and have such an intimate connection. Not the least expensive tour, but good value for money as it includes a good lunch at a good restaurant and transport since we didn't drive. All in all, highly recommended.

What a great day! We were picked up in a private car and visited a parmagianno reggiano cheese factory, Parma ham factory, and a balsamic vinegar maker. I couldn’t choose a favorite. These were places we never would have found on our own. Laura and Ricardo were so knowledgeable and made sure we got the full experience. This tour was a dream!

La atención y servicio de Laura y Riccardo fue excelente en todo momento. Reservamos con.menos de 24 horas de anticipación durante nuestra visita a Reggio Emilia y Laura coordinó todo muy eficientemente. El recorrido por la fábrica de queso parmesano y de la fábrica de vinagre balsámico fueron la mejor parte. Cerramos el tour con una comida en un lugar increíble y con platillos típicos del lugar.
