Unless you know a lot about art history, it’s very helpful to have a guide who can give you perspective about the art you are seeing. We had only our family of 6 in the group so it was very easy and we went at our own pace. We also did not want to deal with getting tickets and lines and figuring out where to go and when and take the chance of missing out.. so the guided tour made everything easy for us.

We enjoyed being in such a small group—just 4 of us on Stan’s tour. He was wonderful. Friendly and knowledgeable with a great sense of humor. He led us through a very crowded museum with ease and took care to make sure we saw everything in an order that helped it all make sense. He gave great background and context for everything and we learned a lot. Overall a pleasure!

Our guide, Hugo, made the difference with this tour. He helped focus our attention to make the most of the visit and his extensive art background gave us uncomparable context. Highly recommend visiting this museum as a contrast to the traditional (and also a must) Louvre. And if you're lucky enough to get Hugo as your guide, you won't be disappointed!

We had clear communication beforehand and our toyr was wonderful. We were able to see the highlights of the museum and learn about each. It was a good length to keep everyone engaged. We had group members from 11 years to 75 years and all enjoyed the tour.

It was a great tour. The experience was much more enjoyable, having a great job explaining the works of art along with interesting information about the artists that helped influence the art. We had two kids in Alban was great trying to include them into the conversation.

Fantastic tour; Anatol is extremely knowledgeable and brought the paintings to life. There was a maximum of 6 on this tour, tho we only had 3, so it was like a private tour. So very glad that we did this; would have missed so much without it!

Joe was an excellent guide! He had an in-depth knowledge of the art, and more importantly, a clear passion for the period. He not only explained in detail the paintings but grounded them within the context of the history of the time as well as the personal lives of the artists. The tour was very well organized. The tour guide, Manu, was very patient, kind and extremely wee informed. He generously waited for us to join the group despite our late arrival. He also sent a summary of the information we missed. Thats going the ‘extra mile’. We got so much more out of our museum visit through this tour than we would have on our own. Our guide, Julien, was great - funny, engaging and informative. We moved very efficiently through the museum, seeing key highlights (incl some less popular ones). The kids (13, 17) really enjoyed it and learned a lot. Would 1000% recommend. The whole experience was very smooth.

Ivana hosted our tour. She is very knowledgeable about the art, the history of the impressionist movement, and the artists. It was very interesting and we learned a lot. Would totally recommend. Tour was about 2.5 hours with the option to explore on your own afterwards. Wear comfy shoes!
