This tour was way better than I’d expected! Our guide was very knowledgeable, attentive and when they said fun, they meant it!!! Personal approach to each member of the group, helpful with any requests and shared knowledge on subjects not included in the itinerary. Thank you Viator and Waseel for this wonderful experience!

Great tour!

Jacquie_B, Aug 2026
This is a great tour, you get to see the major sites with someone who knows where they’re going, what they’re doing and makes it fun along the way. Noah was awesome - helpful, funny and knowledgeable. Worth every penny!

This was a fantastic tour that covered the highlights of Paris. There is so much to see in Paris that unless you have unlimited time, a tour that focuses you on the top sights with some additional history and information is invaluable. Our guide was amazing and this tour was truly a highlight for us during our short stay in Paris.

Great tour! Worth the price! Book it!

Bethania_A, Aug 2026
Absolutely loved this tour. We tried to cancel it before because my husband was worried about how much walking we would have to do and I’m so glad we didn’t. Our tour guide was knowledgeable and told us the history of places while making it interesting and fun. He also took tons of photos for us. We walked and took the metro, so it makes it a lot easier to get around and learn how the metro system works in Paris. Took plenty of breaks to eat and use the restrooms. Overall we had the best time.

Great experience with knowledgeable your guide.

Great way to experience Paris in a half day! My 12yo daughter and I really enjoyed this guided tour!

We really enjoyed our tour of Paris. Our tour guide Anna did an amazing job of highlighting all of the important buildings and the history behind them. She spoke great English and was super easy to understand.

Multiple Iconic landmarks for those short of time

David_D, Aug 2026
We enjoyed an extensive 5 hour tour with Noah yesterday. His overall knowledge of the history of Paris and its various vibrant precincts was impressive. The occasional history test or quiz made the walk entertaining and relaxing. We highly recommend this Tour

Don’t hesitate to book this amazing tour. We were in Paris for a short 2 days and, thanks to this tour, felt like we saw everything we wanted, learning amazing historical facts along the way. The adults and our teenage daughters in the group all loved it equally. We took the 5 pm evening tour which was perfect for less heat, golden hour photos, and sunset views of the city. We even got lucky and were able to see a view of the sparkling Eiffel Tower lights. The evening tour did not enter Notre Dame cathedral, but we got to enjoy outside views as the sun was setting and crowds were gone. There was a food stop 1 hour into the tour which was perfect to give us energy for all of the walking - wear comfortable shoes. Viki was an amazing guide and our whole family adored her - she made the tour historical, laid back (in spite of its many stops), and fun. We would recommend this tour to anyone - even if you have weeks in Paris, start here. You won’t regret it. 10/10 stars.

It was the perfect tour for day one in Paris. You learn an overview of the city’s history, get an overall sense of the city layout, learn how to navigate the metro, and have the opportunity for some recommendations from a Parisian local.

Kacey_S, Jul 2026
Absolutely wonderful walking tour! Our guide Alex was fantastic. She did a great job of explaining everything and even took pictures at each stop since we were a small group. Make sure you wear good walking shoes!

Loved Adva! Engaging and Learned So Much!

Nicole_S, Jul 2026
Such a great tour! We did a food tour, bike tour, and this walking tour in Paris - and each one offered something different. LOVED this tour. Adva, our guide, was amazing. She was fun, funny, very knowledgeable and kept us all engaged. We learned so much and appreciated her taking the time to teach us about the Metro, etc. So glad we did this - and would highly recommend the tour and Adva!

Guide was great and knowledgeable. A good way to see the city. Guide was very helpful too. .........

Five Stars! Noah was fantastic!

emilycreyes, Jul 2026
Noah was an absolutely fantastic tour guide. He was knowledgeable, kind and personable, and went out of his way to make sure that all seven people attending the tour were comfortable with the pace of our walking and information being shared.

Amazing tour

Csenge_B, Jul 2026
Guy was absolutely amazing!!! He made an effort to make sure everyone felt included. He was incredibly entertaining and shared great stuff to know throughout. I would highly recommend to anyone who wants to see the top sights in Paris, do it your first day of the trip!

Excellent Tour

Tugce, Jul 2026
Our guide (can’t remember his name but he’s from Denmark) was excellent! The tour took ~5 hours, he was great at keeping the group together, gave us the history / interesting tidbits about each place, kept us hydrated and cared about our needs. Covered all the top spots, obviously you won’t have time to go in but it’s a great way to discover the highlights.

Adva was very knowledgeable and accommodating to our tour group. I learned a lot about the history of the landmarks we toured.

Paris 101!

Lisa_W, Jul 2026
Our guide was great, and I would highly recommend this to anyone who is in Paris for the first time and/or not comfortable transiting the metro or city yet. This was a perfect “Paris 101” course! We found the tour to be aimed at anyone needing an introduction to Paris - we covered a great deal of ground in a short time, but the pace was very comfortable. If you are already comfortable with using the metro and bouncing around sites, this may be too introductory for you.

Brutal

Victoria_R, Jul 2026
It was a very hot and long tour with next to no breaks. We had one short food break in a location with no a/c and ONE bathroom with no toilet paper. We didn't get to see inside Sacre Coeur as advertised (and we had to climb instead of using the funicular as advertised). Also, instead of going to the underground tunnel to get close up views of the Arc de Triomphe, the guide had us stand in the middle of the busy road with traffic flying by on each side. It was not safe. We threw in the towel before the tour was over.

Response from Host, Jul 2026

We’re sorry to hear that you didn’t enjoy your experience. The day of your tour Paris was experiencing exceptionally high temperatures. To help everyone stay as comfortable as possible, the guide adapted the pace of the tour, made regular stops in shaded areas, and included a refreshment break. We’re sorry if these breaks did not meet your expectations. Regarding Sacré-Cœur, access to the Basilica can sometimes be restricted due to religious services, special events, or long security queues. As it is an active place of worship, entry cannot always be guaranteed. The funicular was closed for maintenance purposes and beyond our control. For the Arc de Triomphe, we take guest safety very seriously. Our guides do not lead groups into moving traffic, and we certainly would never intentionally put guests in an unsafe position. The stop is made from a designated viewing area that offers excellent views before continuing the tour. Having said some guest wish to take photos in the traffic island part and the guide campaigns them. We’re sorry that you chose to leave before the end of the experience, as this meant you missed a significant portion of the tour, including several of Paris’ most famous landmarks. Nevertheless, we appreciate you taking the time to share your feedback, as it helps us continue to review and improve our tours. We wish you all the best for the rest of your travels.

Wonderful experience - great, interesting guide who taught us how to use the metro :)

Warren_S, Jul 2026
Great way to see the city. Lots of walking, lots of site, and a good exposure to the metro and rer system. Enjoyed by our whole family - age 11 and up!

Guide was knowledgeable...

Patricia_W, Jul 2026
Guide was knowledgeable and you should take this experience at the beginning of your trip because the guide teaches you how to use Paris local trains and also the history behind each landmark was insightful.

A Good Intro to Paris in a Short Time

Kisty_P, Jul 2026
Guy was a great tour guide. He was so full of energy and information. We covered a lot of areas, but he was talking and teaching the whole time so it felt like it went quickly. He interacted with the group and engaged individuals well to make sure they were included and enjoying themselves. My only recommendation would be for the guide to use an FM system. With a large group walking the streets, it was sometimes hard to hear what he was saying, even though he would expertly walk backwards through crowds so he was facing us. An FM system would save his voice, ensure everyone could hear clearly, and be helpful keeping the group together in crowds or getting on and off the metro. I would also recommend taking this tour at the beginning of your trip so you can go back to the sites of most interest. It was also a good training for using the metro system.

Must do for first time visitors to Paris!

Stacy_S, Jul 2026
This was the highlight of our trip to Paris. The tour guide did an excellent job explaining the history of each stop and we never would have been able to see all of these sights on our own. It was also a good education on how to navigate the metro. I highly recommend this tour, especially at the beginning of your trip.

July 2026 Evening Tour

Jaime_B, Jul 2026
Louise was hilarious and provided a great overview of the city! Highly recommend an evening tour when sites are less crowded.

Confusing Return to the Bus

ANTONIO_G, Jul 2026
Our tour guide was friendly but gave us very detailed instructions on how to return to the tour bus. This caused confusion. It would have been far better for her to have simply waited at the exit for the group when the tour was over and then led us back to the bus. Some of us walked out of our way unnecessarily in our attempt to find the bus.

Great Option For First Timers

Lauren_U, Jul 2026
Our guide (Guy/Gui) was both hilarious and informative. The tour was everything my friend and I had hoped for. We saw all of the main sights and stopped for a pastry at the Urban Bakery. It was also a great introduction to using the metro to get around; our guide helped us purchase our cards and also sent us on our way to our next destination at the end, haha. He was also willing to take photos for everyone. The other guests in our group made our day, too. Everyone had a great time!

An immersive experience

John_P, Jul 2026
We loved the immersive experience of exploring Paris and discovering its history during this amazing five-hour tour. Vicky was knowledgeable and adaptable, and she created a friendly atmosphere throughout the tour.
