The Bruges tour was overall great. Florian our tour guide was the best. He was very knowledgeable and helpful in guiding us through key areas of what to see and eat during our day tour of Bruges. I highly recommend this tour.

My husband and I had a great experience. The tour guide, Andres, was knowable and attentive to all of our questions and our needs - considering it was a warm day in August.

We showed up at the meeting place on Jluy 31 @ 7am with our confirmation and several emails from the company counting down to our trip date.However when the guide showed up to collect all passengers, our names were not on his list. Checking in with the office we were told that our names were on the list for August 1.
The company was apologetic and we received a complete refund in a couple of days.

The ride from Paris to Bruges alone is worth it. Cheaper, faster and more comfortable than public transportation. My only regret is not Having more time in Bruges! The city is a dream. Take a pillow to sleep in the car.
Our guide was a little hard to hear for the back row in the car, and his thick accent made it hard to understand everything he said. But that being said he was very nice and knowledgeable- he shared some great shops and restaurants.

Bruges is absolutely worth visiting!!! The city is gorgeous. I wish we traveled there with a large bus versus 2 small white vans with no commentary; just a quiet 4 hour ride. The guides were nice enough though.

It is a long drive but totally worth it! Our guide Roland was great. There were 8 people on the tour, he flipped from English to Spanish when talking to us all, very inclusive and excited to share his local favorites. Bruges is everything the pictures show! Don’t miss the handmade lace store and make sure you hit up Lizzi’s waffles!!!!

This tour basically consisted of a drive to Brugge and back. It was a 3 hour drive there and back (no traffic). The van is cramped. 8 people in a small mini van. The driver didn't offer any historical information or fun facts about Belgium or Brugge. Once we got to the town we road on the canal (not in English) then the guide walked us to the market and the rest was on our own. It's not really worth it in my opinion but to each their own.

Very misleading. 9 of us including the driver were in a small cramped minivan. It was a very long way to travel in a small vehicle. We were lead to believe it would be a coach. Very uncomfortable and only one usb to charge 9 phones. We were not offered champagne or Belgium chocolate. Bruges is a gem of a town though.

Our guide Remy was wonderful and gave us great insight on where to go for a delicious lunch. The boat ride was so fun and make sure you have your cameras ready for some beautiful pictures of the city. Yes it is a long day of driving, but definitely a great experience!

Bruges itself was absolutely lovely and well worth visiting. The canal tour was a highlight, and the city is charming, walkable, and full of character.
Unfortunately, I would not recommend visiting through Viator. The drive was stressful due to the guide’s erratic driving, and the “guided tour” consisted mostly of very basic commentary with no historical or cultural information. The guide also arrived late, and there were several moments where she seemed unprepared.
If I were to do it again, I would take the train and hire a local guide in Bruges. The train is faster and more relaxing, and exploring with a knowledgeable local guide would have made for a much better experience while allowing more flexibility to enjoy the city at my own pace.

This place is a total ripoff!!! We waited for over an hour and the guide never showed up, and we were told that the tour had been cancelled. We requested a refund but are still waiting. This is unacceptable and people should avoid this company at all costs!!!

Briggs is beautiful , but our time was very limited. I felt rushed the whole day. To hear the guide you had to be right at his side. And he walked so fast that it was hard to keep up with him. He did not have a microphone or us earpieces like many other groups I noticed. So even though he had a loud voice if you were not right by him you missed out on what he was explaining.
Again the city is beautiful and we plan on going back but not with a guided group. I do not think that 3 hours is enough time to eat lunch visit the city and be ready to be practically running to the bus.

This was more of a ride to Bruges than it was an actual guided tour which to me was no problem. Our driver was a young, nice guy but we didn't catch his name. He guided us to where to catch the boat for the canal cruise which was awesome and left us for a few hours. Bruges is beautiful - like a fairytale. We had a great time and I would highly recommend!

As others have said, this is more transport than tour. Nine people in a very cramped and uncomfortable van for four hours each way (vs the three advertised). The driver was nice enough but didn’t offer a lot of interesting information. He had a notebook to refer to but often got mixed up or confused. Bruges was lovely but very touristy. Canal ride was the nicest part but the captain had to speak in three languages and offered very little historical information. The town is essentially waffles, chocolate shops, and cafes. I should have been prepared how many tourists there would be but it was a bit overwhelming.

Don’t waist your money. Don’t get me wrong, the tour driver is very friendly and engaging but he is not a tour guide, and those were his first words starting the tour. For what we paid, we could had taken a luxury taxi and then download a walking tour guide or if I wanted to save $$, we could have taken public transportation, a local walking tour and a nice dinner in town.
The river boat, is not catered for English speakers. The boat captain, will also let you know that he is not an official tour guide, he is just the captain of the boat. He share some anecdotes and stories mostly in German and French but not in English. In other words, “a waist of money and time”.
We really didn’t learned much about Bruges and its rich history.

Perfect day trip to enchanting Bruges. Canal cruise lovely. Enjoyed fries and waffles. Guide, Renaud, was relaxed and helpful.
Viator tour description doesn’t match actual excursion. Besides the canal cruise, no guided tour of sites - perhaps advertise as self guided tour? Arrival to Tourism France at 6:30am, left standing on sidewalk.

Unfortunately, this is not a tour. It is literally round trip transportation from Paris to Bruges. We were in a small van with six other people (four hours each way…not three as mentioned in the tour description) Bruges is lovely and worth a visit, but take the train. The driver provided zero input.

Phillipe was such a great guide. He drove all the way and back and having a small group of seven made it the perfect number to walk around Bruges. In addition to telling us the history and taking us to all the places promised for the tour, he was able to recommend restaurants off the beaten path from all in the hustle and bustle and noise in the streets. We had a nice quiet lunch and enjoyed walking around looking in the shops and enjoyed every minute of our day. Merci boucoup Philipe.

This is a great way to see Belgium as a day trip from Paris. It was approximately 3 hours each way and in total a 12 hour trip. Our guide, Simon, was truly knowledgeable and personable connecting with each guest.

No it was mis leading the size of the bus. It was a mini van for 7 people and I being a tall guy and no room. Was seated in the very back and felt very uncomfortable to ride that way for 3 hour was not good so we didn’t go.

Bruges is a one a kind place world wide. Charming old town well over a century old. Belgian waffles, Beer, chocolate and much more. Don’t let the drive scare you. Amine, our guide made the ride go quick with history and music.

We recently went on a day trip to Bruges and was not exactly sure what to expect. There are so many options online and prices and reviews vary so widely. We opted for this trip simply for the convenience in location to our hotel. The bus itself was quite small and cramped (not the large bus I was expecting) but the trip was quite enjoyable. We had a fantastic guide who was very knowledgable, pleasant, and really cared about our experience. It was a very long drive to Bruges but the town itself is gorgeous (if overrun with tourists). The trip also included a canal ride. I’d definitely recommend this trip.
