My husband and I highly recommend this food tour. It included walking around Montmartre through beautiful streets and visiting hidden gems to sample the best breads, macarons, pastries, cheeses etc. I really loved the second part of the tour in which we enjoyed a French meal with wine in a private dining room with the tour group. Because the group was fairly small, about 12 people, it felt like an intimate French dinner party. Our guide Coco was truly wonderful and really treated us like we were her special friends and not just tourists. I will remember this experience always. Thank you.

This was one of our favorite tours while in Paris. Matt our guide was absolutely fabulous and had so much knowledge about the area. He had a notebook that he used to show us various pictures to help illustrate what he was talking about and it helped so much. Matt took us around the Notre Dame area as well as the Latin Quarter. We saw areas we might not have visited had he not pointed it out. The food and drink we got during the tour was also fantastic. I think I had the best croissant I have ever eaten and Matt brought it to us still warm! I can't emphasize enough how wonderful this tour was!

We chose the Montmarte tour option. Such a great way to visit the Montmarte neighborhood to learn about the history and sample the best cheese, meats, crepes and wines. Our guide Ryan was knowledgeable, personable and funny and made for a most enjoyable evening. We highly recommend this tour.

Our tour guide was adorable, charming, knowledgeable, a local and full of energy. Tried new foods and combinations, all the best available, purchased in real time. My dietary needs were considered, one Hazelnuts being a tough one in France. Had a great time!!!

The food tour in Montmartre was fabulous! Mo, our guide took us to premiere food stops, gave us history and background of both the city and food as well as provided an exceptional dining experience with rare and popular cheeses, pates, bread and of course wines. My group all came to the consensus that this was a huge disappointment. We stopped by a couple places then sat in a room and sampled meat and cheese with 2 glasses of wine. Took less than 2 hours and our guide was happy to be done with the tour. A couple left hungry because we ate samples. Compared to our food tour in Rome this was terrible and a waste of time and money.

Very different food walking tour. Rather than sitting at each stop; we were given the history of the establishment and then given a sample. Our tour guide Aicha (who was very knowledgeable and you could feel her love for the area and the people) then began collecting different foods at each stop. We sampled something at each location. After eating a freshly cooked crepe of our choosing we then went to a secret location where we feasted on all the meats, bread and cheeses she collected on the way and of course...we drank wine! It's a wonderful historical tour of the area as well. Thanks Aicha!!

We had an amazing experience with Matthew. He showed us where to get award winning croissants, breads etc and had a taste of it. He also made us try the best gallette and its history. We tried some delicious wine and cheese in this tour. He is.very knowledge of the foods history and origin as well. awe had a wonderful time. Highly recommend!

Fabulous tour and delicious food ! I learned about the neighborhood, its history, the restaurants and delicatessen stores in the area. Then we feasted! We tried several types of cheese and charcuterie, wine, baguettes, crepes, macaroons, eclairs! Oh my!

Our guide Dina made it feel as if we were getting a tour by a good friend. She effortlessly blended Parisian history, stories of growing up in Paris and friendly banter making us feel like we are getting the inside scoop on how to live like a Parisian while in Paris. Mohamed-Nour was a wonderful guide. I wasn’t sure how it would go with our three teenagers but they loved it! They can be picky my eaters but there was enough variety and they enjoyed trying the different foods with the small group we were touring with. I loved learning about the neighborhood and interesting facts about the food. I would definitely recommend this tour. Mohamed was so knowledgeable and kept the tour interesting.

This tour was outstanding. Our guide Dina was terrific, she gave us facts and history of the Montmartre area, and we went around the neighborhood, visiting shops while she bought our goodies to take back to a small room we had to ourselves (just our group). We had some cheese, chocolates & macaroons, and crepes on the street before arriving in the room where we feasted on many types of cheeses, meats, bread, and pickles. And of course lots of red and white wine. Dina discussed each cheese and meat as she prepared and passed them out, she is very lively and knowledgeable. We were very happy that we found ourselves with this tour. We didn’t know before yesterday, but Viator gives their guides freedom to plan their own tours. So who your guide happens to be is critical to your experience. Most of the tours we’ve been on with Viator guides have been really good and worth the money. Happily this one was, too.

This tour is the biggest scam. For €140, I would have much rather gone out to dinner with my friends. When I hear “food tour,” I expect amazing food and to leave feeling completely full—but it was the exact opposite.
We started off with croissants pulled out of our tour guide’s backpack… which was honestly unappetizing. Then we were taken to several meat and cheese shops, but we weren’t even offered samples—we were just supposed to look at the food. No thanks.
I had assumed this tour would be enough for dinner, but we left still hungry. There were no full portions, no satisfying dishes, and no real authentic French food experience. Overall, it was a huge disappointment and absolutely not worth the money.

Good was good and our tour guide was very nice. It was awkward to sit in a room with the group for the final meal. I didn’t appreciate that we’d be sitting around a table with strangers for the main meal.
