Great tour of the Louvre that included all of the most popular exhibits and some others that were really interesting to see. Our guide, Beatrice, was extremely knowledgeable and imparted some great back stories to the exhibits we saw. We would highly recommend this tour and also our guide Beatrice.

We had a wonderful tour with Ivana at the Louvre. The museum is huge and overwhelming and she guided us through the entry with ease. She was also wonderful at giving context and information about the exhibits and we felt that this tour was definitely the highlight of our Paris visit. I highly recommend going on this tour if you want to be able to navigate the Louvre. My husband, who does not usually enjoy museums, also thought that the tour was very enjoyable.

Be sure to be at the right meeting place. It’s easy to find if you just go to the pyramid. Louis 14th is about 15 feet above your head on horseback. Three from our group found another horse somewhere on the other side of the Louvre…
Also, bring water, you’ll want to stay all day.

Miriam was my guide. Our entry into the museum was effortless as Miriam escorted us immediately in without any wait of any kind. Miriam’s knowledge of the paintings and sculptures was really incredible. She knew so many things about each work of art and pointed out so many details that I never would have picked up without her. Plus, she had deep background knowledge about the history of the time period in which the art was created and the artist that created it, which deepened my understanding of the individual pieces of art. The museum building itself has its own fascinating history about which I knew absolutely nothing prior to this tour. The building and its surrounding garden is magnificent. The museum has over 40,000 pieces of art so this tour just touched on the highlights. This tour was 2.5 hours long. This is all I had time for during this trip so the length of the tour and the areas viewed fit perfectly into my schedule. Overall, I highly recommend the Louvre tour and Miriam as the guide.

Miriam M. was an amazing tour guide. Many guides may be happy to provide an overview of the exhibits being shown. Miriam went way beyond this by truly engaging all tour group members, even a teenager and a pre-teen, with questions designed to help all of us think about what we were seeing and why it is important. What Miriam brought to this tour was a high level of enthusiasm and passion. She helped provide the context and the relevant background in a way that "opened the door" to a wider understanding of the WHO, the WHAT, and the WHY. We came in as spectators and quickly, she made us part of her performance. While knowledge is an important foundation for a guide, the ability to tell the story with passion is what places Miriam far ahead of her fellow guides. We were happy to be given the opportunity to learn from an individual that tells the Louvre story so well.

Anastasia was amazing. Knowledgeable, personable, lovely. Best tour I’ve experienced in a long time. She was very communicative + made sure she found us at the meeting site. She took us right through the queues, top tier. Worth every penny. It’s worth noting that the museum is packed and our tour really only focused on a small portion of the works (Mona Lisa, Venus de Milo, etc). I imagine some may feel like it doesn’t go very far in terms of the sheer size of the museum. For us, it was perfect. Two + a half hours was more than enough given the crowd. Highly recommend this tour.
