Lovely experience in an area unknown to me. Food choices were excellent.
Be advised it is a GOOD walk with 2 sit down and restroom points.
Dave was a great guide; informative, easy to talk with, kept everyone engaged. Variety in stops, great food.
The Marais is an interesting and unique area. Our famous guide Cecelia made it come alive with her comfortable guiding style. We sampled sweets, falafel, onion soup, delicious cheeses and wine! This experience was part food and part history. I highly recommend this tour.
Art was a great guide! Food was amazing as was the history of the places and the involvement with every person.
Delicious food. Good variety. Funny commentary! Recommend for all visitors. A very good way to start our time in Paris.
Alice was very nice, but we did not get what we paid for. It was supposed to be 11 stops and 10 items of food. We only went to 6 stops and received 5 items of food. Alice stated she was unaware of what was included with our tickets, so I showed her my printed out itinerary. She simply stated that Viator needed to update their website.
This was not the equivalent of a full meal and all 4 of us left hungry and went to a cafe and had lunch immediately afterwards.
Please skip all other food tours . I hope when you do book a Devour tour you’re lucky enough to have Vanessa as your tour guide. We felt as if we were visiting a sweet friend and had an all exclusive “in” to all the beautiful, off the tourist trap avenues of what is perfect Paris! The minute she introduced herself she was energetic and passionate about the Marais/Paris food scene…A++ I’ve done many food tours. This might be my favorite!
This tour was fantastic. Alice brought us to.many local places and explained to us why they were well regarded by local Parisians which was very interesting. All of the foods we tried were delicious as well. We highly recommend this tour and Alice as a guide.
Excellent food with a fabulous guide (Alice) made an enjoyable outing. There was plenty of food to make a meal. Stops at award-winning, artisanal establishments made it definitely worth doing. I highly recommend this tour
I would absolutely NOT recommend this tour. Of all the tours we have taken during our European vacation, this was by far the most disappointing.
First, the meeting point is quite far from the main tourist area, and what you actually receive on this “food tour” is extremely underwhelming. We started with a croissant, followed by approximately a one inch piece of chocolate and a cookie. Then we had onion soup, a very small piece of cheese, another cookie, and finished with four very small pieces of cheese and two inexpensive wines poured to about one third of a glass. That was essentially the entire food experience.For the price, we expected MUCH more.
Unfortunately, our tour guide, Juan, made the experience even worse. He spent far too much time talking about himself and where he was raised instead of focusing on Paris, the food, and the experience we had paid for.
What bothered us most was the way he treated us when we didn’t know exactly which part of Paris we were staying in. We are tourists — that is why we are taking a guided tour! He made us feel ignorant in front of the rest of the group because we weren’t familiar with the Metro system and preferred using Ubers and taxis. His attitude came across as rude and condescending, and it made us very uncomfortable.
There were 11 people on our tour, yet Juan seemed to spend about 90% of his time talking with three young women in the group while largely ignoring everyone else A good tour guide should make an effort to engage the entire group, not focus most of their attention on a select few people.
For perspective, we scheduled 22 tours across five countries, for this vacation, and we have completed 13 of them so far. Every single one has been a great experience except this one. That says a lot
Between the tiny food portions, poor value, uncomfortable interaction with the guide, and lack of attention given to most of the group, this tour was a major disappointment.
Save your money and choose another Paris food tour, We certainly wish we had.
What an amazing experience we had with Emily. We honestly really felt like we were living a true Emily in Paris experience. She took us to the most fantastic places, and we tasted the most amazing food. Places we never would’ve known on our own. We left very satisfied. Would highly recommend this to anyone. Just book it!
This was a wonderful tour. Vanessa was extremely knowledgeable. The food was delicious. We especially liked the wine and cheese at the end.
The guide was delightful and very knowledgeable. However, twelve is way too many people for this tour! There is a lot of walking so limited interaction with the guide. For the price paid, not enough food for the bucks. A croissant, 2 pieces of chocolate and a macaroon (very good), part of a veggie Turkish crepe and a cup of tea (blah), onion soup (no one finished), another sweet bite (interesting), wine and cheese. You’ve been warned!
Anne Lorraine was fun and engaging. She was knowledgeable and personable. We enjoyed our food tour around Le Marais, from the croissants, falafel and macarons to the wine and cheese pairing - all delicious and fun! We were so full by the end! We would definitely recommend this tour!
One of the best food tours I’ve ever been on. Alice was a very engaging tour guide with interesting insights about the districts we were in and the food we were tasting. 7 stops with full potions not just samples. The wine shoppe was a great place to end the tour sharing fresh cheese we bought at the cheese shoppe and great company. Thank you for an amazing experience.
Emily was a lot of fun and we all had a good time! Most of our group got a chance to taste lots of different foods and see interesting neighborhoods. I only have two complaints: the chocolate stop should occur later in the tour, not so near the beginning; and gluten-free substitutes could be better (ex. It would not be difficult to include g-f crackers or bread with the cheese tasting.) For those with a regular diet, this would not be a problem and it is a very enjoyable tour with a very nice and knowledgeable guide! Enjoy!

The tour was fabulous and the food was amazing. Best croissant I have EVER had. Lots of historical information as well. Cecelia, our guide, was fabulous. She was full of information, was very articulate and knowledgeable.
This was the best tour so far out of 3 . Our guide was knowledgeable, funny and the food stops were great . Even though it was raining the small group had a good time and enjoyed the marais district
Great food, great guide and fun atmosphere along the way! We love food tours and this one was fantastic! Highly recommend!
All of the food was mediocre, and one of the shops were closed for vacation, so the guide had to pivot to another random neighbouring shop. Not the guide’s fault, but considering the price of the tour, and knowing that this is common vacation season for local vendors, there could have been better planning. There also could have been more explanation of what to notice with each dish BEFORE we ate it, instead of AFTER we’ve consumed it. ☺️
We had a friendly group so overall enjoyed the experience despite the hiccups. But the quality and choice of food was not as good as other food tours we’ve experienced, especially with this tour being at a higher price.
We do food tours wherever we travel. Always so pleased when we get a guide that teaches us so much about the city along with a wonderful food tour. LOVED this tour! Would highly recommend. Great variety and quality of food and learned so much. David did an amazing job!

Dave was a great guide for our tour. Great sense of humor, excellent knowledge of the food scene, and strived to make the tour enjoyable for adults and teens alike. We look forward to touring with Dave again the next time we’re in Paris!
This was a highlight of our trip. Alice, our guide, was knowledgeable and considerate. We had a lactose intolerant family member, and Alice was quick to make accommodations when possible. I highly recommend this tour. Five stars for sure. And come hungry.
Our tour guide Corsi (sp?) was awesome very sweet and kind. Very informative. Ate some delicious food. Good company with the others in the tour too. Great experience. One small note did not enjoy where we had “French soup” I had the veg option which was only so so. My friend did not enjoy her French onion soup but overall wonderful.
AL is a fantastic tour guide. And the tour is amazing. World class experience and the amount of food you consume is unexpected. I did not need dinner after the 2-5 pm tour. AL is also a sommelier so the food and wine pairings were enriched and exquisite.
