Lovely cruise along the Seine with an opportunity to get on and off to explore chosen sites along the way, within a 24 hour period. Pity about the inaudible on- board communication system.

Nice, inexpensive way to take a load off, sit back and ride up and down the Seine! Highly recommend.

Fantastic hop on hop off river boat on the Seine. Delightful way to see the sights of Paris with my friends. Definitely recommend to anyone coming to Paris. Great value for money .

Easy way to get around

Amanda_D, May 2026
Great way to get around Paris, we took it from our hotel to the Eiffel Tower - got to see lots and it was very relaxing vs fighting on the metro.

Great! Would do Again!

Shelley_B, Apr 2026
Great way to easily get to many main attractions in the heart of Paris. We loved our stop at the Eiffel Tower! It’s also very nice cruising on the Seine dow up to two hours.

Unclear directions to boat pick-up.

Stephanie_E, Apr 2026
No instructions where to pick up boat near Notre Dame. ChatGPT provided map & directions in less than 10 seconds, thankfully.

Don_D, Apr 2026
It can get hot riding on the boat as it is enclosed in hard plastic. Otherwise enjoyable. Good stops.

Great way of travelling between the main sights

Rebecca_W, Apr 2026
We booked a 48 hour ticket as it was better value and enabled us to spread our sightseeing over 2 days. I used Batobus last year and seem to recall more information being given on the boat about the sights we were going past. This didnt happen this time. Also, under the glass was exceptionally hot even in April so some shaded roof would be better. There is limited outdoor standing space.

Great way to navigate Paris on the Hop-on, Hop-off boat!

Joan_H, Apr 2026
Loved the Batobus Hop-on, Hop-off boat! Great way to navigate Paris without having to deal with the traffic! And great views from the river!

Getting around Paris by Boat

Justin_C, Apr 2026
Very convenient way to get around Paris. The only downside is that it is slow, only goes one way, and may get crowded depending on when you take it during the day. If you’re looking to have a leisurely boat trip to see things from afar, it’s a good experience.

Fun day using River for transport’

Stella_D, Apr 2026
The boat is not fast but it does stop at all the major attractions on the rivers! We just had lunch at Franchettes on a Barge in front of the Eiffel Tower and took it back to put air bnb near Notre Dam and went by the Stubimdku fountain! Very fun day,

Leisure Day in Paris

Was not easy finding the pick up information until on boat..so addresses for pick up could be communicated more clearly and readily on the website or App...

David_G, Apr 2026
Convenient way to get around the inner city. Beautiful views from the water. Signage could be a little bit better along the river pointing to the nearest.

Great way to see the sites

Lucinda_F, Apr 2026
Great experience, smooth running and on time. Great way to see the major sites, friendly and helpful.

Great effort from “help” staff.

James_A, Apr 2026
Trip was excellent; I didn’t get the bar code sent to me as planned. I called the “help line “ and the problem was resolved within 5 minutes. Excellent help; stress reliever!

A must for Paris sightseers!

Elizabeth_M, Apr 2026
This is a must for anyone wanting to travel around Paris to see the most popular destinations. Easy to find the ‘bus stops’ along the river, getting on and off at any points along the way. We chose to start and finish by the Eiffel Tower. Lots of seating, accommodating for small children/pushchairs. The only issue i had was the tickets were not available offline as stated, so i did need to use mobile data when boarding, or take a screenshot. Perhaps there was something i missed in order to get them offline. Highly recommend

Good & Bad

Clare_M, Apr 2026
Great opportunity to see sights of Paris from river, minimal walking. It would be nice if sights were narrated a bit. Fellow on our boat announced stops & that’s all!

Great family experience in Paris

David_F, Apr 2026
Beautiful tour and thoroughly enjoyed. Saw Eifel Tower, Notre Dame, beautiful bridges and historical sites.

Great! No motion sickness with this.

Sandra_P, Apr 2026
For those who experience motion sickness, this is perfect because there are no stop and go. We saw all the Paris “musts” from the boat and hopped off as we wished. There were sufficient seats every time.

Great value - I would do it again!

Karissa_M, Apr 2026
Great way to see the city without the traffic! Also a great way to rest and move along the river without walking or taking an Uber.

Seine River bus ride!

Suzanne_G, Mar 2026
It is like a bus which is fine. The view was excellent. The enter and exit was fine. It was very close to our hotel.

Cancelled trip, no refund or response to email

Trio was cancelled due to high water levels. I was emailed told a refund would be issued. 6 weeks later still no refund and no response to my email.

Wonderful way to see the city sites of Paris with less walking and without taking the train. Very convenient for families with members very young to very old.

See Paris from the river!

Kim_L, Mar 2026
Ahh, Paris! This a great way to see landmarks from the Eiffel Tower to Notre-Dame. Hop On and Hop Off at your leisure. We were able to see so much we might have missed otherwise.

Great way to see the city

Brittany_C, Mar 2026
Such a fun way to see the city. We especially liked the guides for each stop and followed a few of the recommendations.

Nice tour out

Syrina_F, Mar 2026
Nice experience but need better tour audio guide. Earplugs was great but I would recommend a live person giving a tour.

Awesome tour/Screenshot tickets!!

Yeisha_C, Mar 2026
Hop on/hop off cruise was amazing!!! We would absolutely recommend to see all the Seine River fun. Easy to get on and off. We did the 2 day pass. Make sure to screen shot your ticket though! The first day the Viator app worked, but the 2nd day it said we had no tickets in the app. 😫 Luckily I hadn’t closed out pages from the day before and I was able to screen shot for the additional day. Batobus representative said there was nothing he could do so we would have been out a day,

Disappointed!

Deborah_G, Feb 2026
The Batobus wasn’t running when we showed up at the stop near our hotel. There was no notification at the dock. When we returned to hotel, we looked on their website and found that no boats were running.

Paris Batobus

Michael_P, Jan 2026
Great hop on hop off riverboat service. Process of getting tickets was cumbersome. Good value if used.

Extremely disappointing (do not book through Viator)

Briana_S, Jan 2026
Hours of operation were not as advertised on website, and not able to use as a result. Viator deferred to operating company, re: decision to honor versus decline our request for a refund, which they denied. Viator displaced blame onto the company, despite it being their (Viator’s) website/app advertising the business’s hours of operation. Overall, Viator was extremely unpleasant and not anywhere near as user friendly as other comparable travel apps, such as Get Your Guide (spend your money there, not on Viator).
