Last minute booking that I was able to get & glad I went on this cruise. As a solo traveler, I appreciated the relaxed vibe on the boat, not crowded with a whole row to myself & unobstructed views through all the windows & glass ceiling. The tour guide was great, had a lot of great info & also recommendations for additional things to do & see around Amsterdam that I hadnt seen online or social media or read about. In 90 minutes I was able to see everything I wanted to see but didnt have time to walk to in my two day visit. It also helped that the day was sunny which made the experience even more enjoyable! The pickup location right next to the Anne Frank museum was very convenient as I had just visited the museum and it is central to most places to see. I would highly recommend this tour!

Taking a canal tour is truly the best way to experience Amsterdam, and joining Captain Jack’s Cruise was one of the best decisions we made on our trip. It quickly became the highlight of our visit! Our Captain and guide, Sanders, was not only friendly and welcoming but also incredibly knowledgeable about Amsterdam’s fascinating history, unique architecture, and charming neighborhoods. The boat was stylish, comfortable, and beautifully decorated, creating the perfect atmosphere to enjoy the scenic canals. The 1.5-hour duration felt just right—long enough to truly soak in the city’s vibrant vibe without feeling rushed. We highly recommend Captain Jack’s Canal Cruise to anyone visiting Amsterdam and would absolutely love to sail with them again in the future!

Missed our initial booking but got on the next one. no problem. The boat was great with a long history. Small group very informative friendly skipper. I think thi is the ideal company to use if you like a personal experience. Snacks and drinks provided as well.Highly recommended

This was an absolutely wonderful tour with a very knowledgeable tour guide! The small group setting and comfortable atmosphere made us feel right at home. We especially loved the stop to pick up some local delicacies - they were so good! What a fun, relaxing and fascinating tour of the canals complete with local history. Sebi was such an amazing guide. I can't recommend it highly enough for anyone who wants to understand the area, it's evolution and lifestyle. We were delighted to have such a personal tour! Far better than the standard big party boats! Well worth every penny!

Lucas was our skipper and he was excellent!! He gave us great insight into the city & its history. He was really friendly & easy to chat with, but also gave us privacy to take in the sights & talk amongst ourselves. The boat was very clean and Lucas was a great driver, we felt very safe the entire time! Refreshments on board (Cava & Beer) were great. Boat location was easy to find.

We went at sunset and the views through the canals were stunning. Our tour guide and driver were both very friendly and knowledgeable, and they made the experience a 10/10 (and they never let my drink get empty either). Would definitely recommend this to anyone visiting Amsterdam as it was also very good value for money!

This canal ride was the highlight of our trip! The captain was incredibly friendly and had a great sense of humor, which made the entire experience both engaging and enjoyable. The ride was smooth, scenic, and filled with interesting facts and laughs along the way. Highly recommend to anyone looking for a fun and relaxing way to see the city!

We had a great time on the canal tour with JD as our host! He was informative, had a great sense of humor, but most of all he was approachable and kind. Our skipper also provided a smooth and calming cruise. We did not do the drink package, but drinks were still for purchase.
