Our captain, Emma, really made the cruise. She was friendly and knowledgeable and was a great host as well as captain. We took the last cruise of the night and it was beautiful seeing the lights on over the canals. One caveat. Leave plenty of time to find the location. It is not terribly well marked and the address given is a distance away from the actual boat. Once you’re there, you’ll be glad you booked it!

What a wonderful and informative tour. The weather was perfect and our guide was very nice and excellent boat captain. My entire family enjoyed the experience. Highly recommend this tour group. The boat was very comfortable and one of the best on the canal.

We had an excellent time. The boat is a real gem and very comfortable. We sat outside to enjoy the perfect weather. Our guide filled us in on some interesting history of Amsterdam as we passed some famous sights. I highly recommend this smoke friendly tour.

If you have booked a closed boat, make sure you read the fine print. The company can change to an open boat. We were disappointed that it was opened, however, the experience was wonderful, nevertheless. And they closed boat, would not have afforded as much enjoyment.

The cruise was very satisfying in terms of what I expected. The guide was funny and allowed me to bring my pizza on the boat because I hadn’t had a chance to eat all day, which saved my life. The location of departure was not as listed: it was from Amsterdam Centraal area and not near the Anne Frank House. However, the address provided on my ticket sufficed to get me to right place just in time, so it wasn’t a problem for me. Just a note.

Captain Ollie was out captain on the Captain Dave boat and he is absolutely amazing!!! He was fun, funny, and EXTREMELY informative. He knew fascinating history about the area and made it relatable to each of us and where we came from. And not only did he have great history and information about all of the sights but he maneuvered the boat impressively! There were some incredibly tight corners and even had a situation with a local boat that he was able to navigate and keep on track! Absolutely amazing tour. Extremely highly recommend!

So much better than the “bateau mouches”. Smaller so can go to small canals they can’t. Open so you don’t have to look through the reflections on the plastic roofs. Driver/guide was very engaging and with nice sense of humour. Great to get away from the “19 languages” plug-in headsets. I have been on several Amsterdam canal tours before. This was by far the most interesting and enjoyable

Victor/Valter or w.e his name is (and his awesome partner) are simply the best! Not only did they make the cruise the most fun and memorable experience, but they made every moment feel special. And honestly… Victor might just be the hottest guy alive. Charming, knowledgeable, and hilarious, can’t ask for a better guide or a better team. 10/10
