Wake up!

This was very meaningful and it was great to have a guide. There is a lot of information to comprend and emotional reflection of the frightening time. This has always been the camp I wanted to see because of the US armies liberation of Dachau. We had a very informative guide who spent the day discussing the social and political issues of WW1. This was very academic. However, I would have preferred some moments of silent reflection and time to read the installations. Over all Marcus, was sensitive to the current events of the United Ststes. I could not be more sure about the dangers of history repeating, and the atrocities of the past must never happen again!

Long day but well worth it. Check weather as Shuttle bus doesn’t run in snow & Marie’s Bridge was closed too so it was a bit of a hike but excellent path meant even though I have some mobility issues…still made it to the top!! Dimitrii & Marius were excellent team, good interesting & informative commentary added to the experience & the lunch restaurant recommendation was also really nice & reasonably priced

Traveling Comfort and Convenience

My partner and I traveled to Munich for the first time and decided to visit Neuschwanstein castle while were visiting. I was considering alternative options when booking our tickets for the tour, and this was ultimately the most ideal for us, and to us worth the money spent. Despite the weather and snow, Annette our tour guide and host, was excellent. She made sure everyone was comfortable along our travels, including drinks/snacks that frequently changed with each stop along our way. She made sure we had our tickets for everything and also provided us with Bavarian history and facts along the way. We would recommend this fully for the experience alone, and we are already looking forward to visiting again.

Maxine was great! She was funny and engaging. Told us much about the history of Salzburg and the famous people who were born and lived there. She invited us to dine at the oldest restaurant possibly in the world and we had the most memorable meal of our trip there. Maxine gave us a great start and when we had open time we had the information we needed to get to where we wanted to go. She was a wonderful guide.

Wonderful tour!

Our tour guide Elisabeth and our driver were amazing! Elisabeth provided so many historical facts and really made the tour enjoyable. The scenery you get to see on this tour is unbeatable. The only thing that was disappointing for us was we did not have enough time to see the bunker after going to Eagles nest. The only place available for lunch kept us waiting for so long due to a shortage of staff that day. The food and waiter we had were great, we just missed a big chunk of the tour because of it. We would still highly recommend the tour! I’m sure this is not an issue all the time.
