Memories to last a lifetime for a mother and two sons

My two twenty something year old boys and I did this tour yesterday. It was beyond words. They loved it , as did I. The tour stops were arranged beautifully; we had just the right amount of time everywhere. My sons were excited to spend time in Switzerland too. They each purchased blazers. Definitely Worth It!

We had a great time on this Duomo tour! Our guide was friendly, easy to follow, and shared so many interesting facts without it ever feeling overwhelming. Our tour guide Sylvia was truly a gift!

Our tour guide, Sylvia, gave us exceptional insight into the history of Milan from as early as Roman times. Her tour included some “off the beaten path” views and lesser known but impressive churches where she helped us to see Christianity through the eyes of the devout in earlier times. Her tour felt as though we were there at those times. Her background in archeology and deep appreciation for history made this tour feel like we were on “ a dig” through history! One thing that Viator could have done better was to describe the meeting location more precisely. Others on the tour who booked through different companies had the exact location to meet instead of a describing a large plaza as the meeting point.

A breath of fresh air

We are visiting Milan during the heat wave in June, and it was terribly hot, but we are so THANKFUL to have booked this beautiful excursion to the Swiss alps. It was like a breath of fresh air! Angelo was a kind and informative tour guide. He was attentive to each tourist and gave clear directions. Our bus driver was Massimo. Venice Day Trip

With the Venice tour, we found this was the perfect way to see Venice in a day. We appreciated how comfortable the bus ride was and the fact that it was a small group of people in the group. The stop at the truck stop to use the bathroom and get snacks was an added bonus for the journey to Venice. As crowded as Venice was that particular day, having Didi as a tour guide made us feel comfortable with our surroundings. Didi was very knowledgeable and was able to help us in obtaining a gondola ride. This was the perfect way for us to see Venice and we felt we were able to see a lot in the couple hours of free time that was granted. For those not wanting to stay overnight in Venice or navigate the logistics of getting there, this tour would be perfect for you.

It is such an informative tour. It is a good crash course of Milan if you either don’t have a lot of time in the city, or if you’re looking no for places where to start exploring. I feel that because this is a walking tour, I was more engaged and the small group made it much more personalized.
