This was a terrific way to spend an evening!! Anna was a great guide and really know the city. We had great food, great wine/cocktails and spectacular Gelato (definitely get the pistachio!) all while getting a real feel for the city Highly recommend!!

Meet your guide and group in the later afternoon in central Milan, the ideal time and place for experiencing the popular Italian tradition of “aperitivo.” As you stroll through Porta Ticinese to the Navigli quarter, you’ll learn about cocktails and wine in Italy, and discover places that you might not find if exploring alone.

Stop to enjoy drinks and classic aperitivo snacks in bars along the way, trying the aperitivo plates that the Milanese enjoy: cured Italian meat, stuffed potatoes, and more quirky bites such as “pizza cones.” As most good things in Italy end with gelato, so does this tour! Anna Maria was very knowledgeable and fun to do this tour with. The food was wonderful and was a good mix of Milanese staples. We ended up in a group of 4 which made the experience more personal. Highly recommend this tour! Food & drink wise: we got 3 drinks total, appetizers at the first & second stop, a full plate of risotto, and gelato. It was truly filling, and we understand that the restaurants and bar choices change depending on the season and availability of preferred locations.

A fun little tour of the Navigli neighborhood with some different food stops along the way. Ends with a yummy gelato. Tour host Andreas was very compassionate- he was genuinely concerned when a couple in our group was feeling ill due to the heat. He had lots of knowledge of the area and was helpful with photos as well! Very nice tour with a great guide!

This was an amazing tour! Great few hours and the guide, Alarico helped find alternatives, quality ones for my dairy allergy. From wine tasting with wine and crostini to milanese risotto hold the cheese, and drinks to dairy free gelato! This was a great time. He gave fun facts, joked with the group, supported our journeys after the tour. I felt entirely included with my food restriction the whole time! So accommodating after we hit milan traffic on thr way to the tour and were running late. I couldnt recommend more! Thanks so much Alarico!

A must experience location on Milan canals. Food and drink sample were good though I would have hoped for more food and less drinks. The food choices while being local menu items were underwhelming given the area’s fine food. It would be nice if the combined food sampling equated to a meal with a protein, a starch and vegetables . The tour guide was excellent and fun to tour with and learn about the area. Good tour to learn about the eating scene.

For a start the meeting point was not clear and I had to call through to check as was very non specific. Guide spent a lot of time talking to her colleague who was in training so not a lot of information shared about the area. We still enjoyed the experience and the food and drinks but was not what we expected

Anna is a very good guide. She grew up and lives in Milan and has travel overseas. She knows her stuff. Do not eat before you go. You will eat bread, tomato, beef, risotto and gelatto. You will also have several drinks. It a great event and my wife and I would do it again.
