What are people saying about Mexico City

Well worth our time
It's a lot of walking which can be a problem on a hot day. That aside, it was a wonderful way to spend a few hours learning. We had a trained anthropologist, Miguel, a college professor, as our guide, and he was great. He was very knowledgeable about all cultures and gave us a wonderful history of the people who built and occupied the area. He also had an excellent understanding of the historical relatiinship between Mexico and the U.S.A.

Fantastic Experience
It was a long day but packed with many wonderful sights. Our guide was fantastic and very informative. Be sure to put on sunscreen and bring a hat for the pyramids. Water too! You can buy some there but not until you are further inside. Lunch was very tasty and had a cool show. Highly recommend this tour!

Lalo was a ten (as was our driver Chacha!). The entire trip was beautifully organized from start to finish, including all prep information given in advance, but it was the group coordination that really sealed the deal. Lalo matched everyone's energy throughout the day (chill during the early AM pickup when we were all getting our acts together), then later upbeat and enthusiastic once we arrived onsite and began the day in earnest. It's clear he's passionate about Mexican history and culture and enjoys presenting both in a way that is at once compelling, respectful, and frank. The stops themselves are incredible, but it was the whole group experience that made this a stand out. I'd recommend it to anyone. Pick a weekday for thinner crowds!

Super exciting and a lot to see.
This was the highlight of our trip to Mexico City, the tour was very detailed from picking up to the travel time and drop off. This is not a shopping / restaurant tour, this is a tour that you will have plenty of time to see all of Teotihuacan. Amazing tour guides and great bus driver. I believe the guide, which was Spanish and English speaking, was named either Van or Dan. (Could be something completely different). This is worth the cost and time to take the trip. Make sure you wear really comfortable shoes and a good sun hat as you will do a lot of walking and climbing stairs. The tour recommends to take a snack and a good water bottle as you will need both depending on the time of year you go. We did this in April and it wasn't really hot but very sunny. With no shade it can get very exhausting if you're not used to ups and downs. Definitely recommended.
