One of the best day trips I've ever had in my life. The tour guide was amazing, the hot springs, the cave, and the river were all amazing and incredibly worth it. Breakfast at the restaurant was great too :) All in all it was a 10/10 experience and I'm so glad I booked it.

Highly recommend this experience, my family and I had a phenomenal time even though we had to wake up really early for it. The hot springs were gorgeous and barely had people in the early morning, the caves were our favorite part, and the river was a great way to relax before heading back. Shoutout to Ricardo, our guide!

The early wake up and long drive is worth it! The views are incredible. Maria was our tour guide and she was great and even gave us a cute picture she had taken of us at the end which was a very nice touch.

Great experience, just know to please wear some water shoes. Do not wear flip flops, you will be sorry! 🤣🤣 You will walk in caves and waters where sharp rocks will be present. Also know you will walk a lot of steps, so be ready. But it is all fun and beautiful. Enjoy!

Awesome experience. Glad we got there early. Had a nice time in the pools with very few people. The best part is the caves for me. Left on time back to the city. Traffic experience may vary.

This was everything you could ask for from a trip to Tolantongo. A nice hour in the pools (not especially hot, but warm to fairly warm from the natural hot springs). But the highlight is the waterfall and cave. The mouth of the cave just dumps hot water on you and it’s a great relaxing experience. Make sure to do the side cave in the mouth of the main waterfall (bring or borrow a flashlight, it’s completely dark) before exiting and going to the “official” cave. Then a nice dip in the warm river. Michelle was a great and knowledgeable tour guide who handled a bilingual tour (Spanish and English) with ease, jokes, and a ton of local info. And she was well-prepared with tips, snacks, and info so you know what to expect. Couldn’t ask for a better guide!

This was an absolute magical experience! We came to Mexico City for a week of celebration and this was the PERFECT way to end our trip. Gerry was an amazing, caring and knowledgeable guide and made sure to teach us all about the sights. He was also patient with us and making sure we were always comfortable and taken care of. I highly recommend booking this trip and hope you get Gerry as your guide. Juan was also a fantastic driver and we felt safe the entire time. 10/10 experience!

This was a really great experience. It is an early morning, but it is worth it to avoid the traffic and get to the pools early. We arrived and there were hardly any people, so it gave you an opportunity to get pictures and be alone. Our guide was good and helpful the entire time. He showed us the different areas. We really loved the cave and the waterfall. It was the best part of the trip. Our guide also took us to a more secluded part of the river so that we could swim in it alone. Overall, it was a great trip and highly recommend.

I booked this experience well in advance. Although my hotel was not included on the pickup list, the company agreed to pick us up at my hotel in the historical district. The night before, the guide messaged me to confirm pickup at a location near my hotel. I told her that pickup had been arranged at Umbral Hilton. She asked for proof so I sent her a screenshot of the confirmation. She didn’t respond but I received a message from the company that their “policy had changed” and they were no longer picking up in the historical district due to road closures in the area (due to the World Cup game that was two days away). I understand the rationale, except there were NO road closings at 430 in the morning when the pickup time was and the road my hotel was on was never closed. The other issue that took place was with the driver. We went over a bump so hard that everyone flew out of their seats. I was wearing a seatbelt and my head still hit the ceiling. Hard. The guide was sweet, but not very knowledgeable. She didn’t tell us anything about the thermal pools except that the pools that were higher up were warmer. She was great when we went to the cave and stayed with us in the water, holding a flashlight for us in the dark sauna cave. On the way back to the van, my partner and I got stuck behind some ppl who were walking very slowly. The guide didn’t wait for us and we wouldn’t have been able to find her if we didn’t What’s App her. I was lucky that my phone wasn’t dead. I’d been using it for pictures.
Tip: Expect a rough drive the entire way.
Tip: Bring a cover up and a towel.

This trip was absolutely amazing! Both Michel and the driver were kind. Do try to visit during the weekday and non-vacation times since the hot springs can get PACKED. There is also so much more than just the hot springs too. Additionally, be cautious if you get bad motion sickness since we passed through lots of speed bumps, mountains, and rough roads. Thankfully, we were provided with water and medicine for motion sickness. We were also allowed to stop if we needed some fresh air too.
To prepare, you should bring some water shoes and a fair amount of cash since only the restaurant takes cash. There are some shops there if you need towels, shoes, etc… but they are cash only.

The early morning start was well worth the time spent at Tolantongo. Less crowds and more relaxing moments. We also went on a Monday, which was probably better. The drive was about 2.75 hrs one way. We had a good tour guide and driver. There were 6 others in our group. Perfect size group to make it a wonderful experience. Just know there is no bathroom stop on the way there, but there is one on the way back.

Raul (guide) and Abraham (driver) were amazing! I went solo and the Raul made sure I had plenty of pictures. The experience was smooth over all and I enjoyed the variety of activities this tour had. The best part was the tunnel and I would absolutely sign up to do it again!

They picked us at our hotel , but dropped us off about a mile away at the end of the tour. We walked and couldn’t find our way back. had to take an uber because we got lost and nobody gave exact directions. Our GPS wasn’t working. Please make sure you know where you’re gonna be dropped off and what they bring you back. Lalo just wanted to get back early and finish his day . We were not the only ones that got dropped off away from our hotel

My husband and I did the Express Tolantongo Hot Springs tour and had such an amazing experience! It was the perfect full day of relaxation and adventure. One of the best parts was getting there early enough to enjoy the hot springs before the crowds arrived. The caves and waterfalls were absolutely beautiful and felt surreal in person. Lunch was also delicious and a great addition to the day. Our tour guide Aline was incredible, she was so organized, kind, and made the entire experience smooth and enjoyable. We had the best time and would 100% recommend this tour to anyone visiting Mexico City!

Incredible experience! I went with my 11 year old daughter, and we had a fantastic time. Our tour guide, Ara, provided pick up instructions the day before and was very responsive with my questions. She made the entire experience seamless and fun. I would 100% recommend this excursion. Don’t let the early pickup and 3-hour travel time deter you. It’s an unforgettable experience!
P.S. Water shoes and a waterproof case for your phone are essentials! You will want them.

We booked this trip on a Monday. It was amazing! Our tour guide Gerry and driver Mario were exceptional. Mario got us from point A to B safely and quickly (especially with those steep cliffs, he mastered is like a pro). Gerry was prompt with pickup and stayed in communication prior to the trip. He knew much history and was very personable. His high energy really got us in the zone especially early at 8am when we arrived to the hot springs. With this group we were the first ones to arrive prior to all the other groups. He made sure everyone had a great time while being safe. Would definitely book this trip as you can tell he really has a passion for the hot springs and hospitality. Couldn’t have picked a better tour to book with. Thank you for everything!!

This was a great time. The tour guide was very friendly and explained all that was required of us to have a good time throughout. It is a full day so be prepared to be on the go. The natural spring was amazing (the views and pictures I was able to get!!). The food at the restaurant was delicious (I got the fried fish). Don't hesitate to book with them.
