trip was ok, but one thing was very bad, restaurant option in puebla was very bad, food there just bad, no other way to describe it and guide never advised that we will have an hour free time later in town squire with plenty of restaurant options

It is a very long day but worth it. Really enjoyed the free time in Puebla it is a beautiful place. I wish the guide did speak slower as I know I missed some information.

A lovely day . Ive done this trip before. But this time it eas in reverse, starting in puebla . No issues with this as it was quieter making the markets more comfortable to move around . Alexa was a great guide . I learned new things through the entire trip . She really has passion .

The full day tour of Puebla was long but my husband and I were comfortable in the van,
and in the places we visited. Oscar was full of information to share and the use of the
portable audio device was a positive.
Oscar was very professional, knowledgeable
and we appreciate his narrative of this
UNESCO city- the colonial architecture
and beautiful churches. Amazing experience.

This was a long day. Two things made it worthwhile: the views of Popocapetl steaming away, closer than you can see it in the city, and the truly spectacular church in the Tonantzintla neighborhood of Cholula. I've seen a lot of churches in South America, but this is the most amazing and the most interesting. Photos don't do it justice, so the few you will find on the internet will not show you. Bring binoculars. Had a wonderful lunch at Los Vampiros Empatedados in Puebla---this was off-tour---and visited the tiny but interesting university museum nearby in my free time. The tour itself was a bit of a slog--too much traffic, too much hot sun, too little food (we started at 6am and lunch was at 2:30!), not a lot of info.

Dear Valerie, thank you for sharing your feedback. We are pleased you enjoyed the views of Popocatépetl and the church in Tonantzintla. We are a serious and responsible company, and all tour details, including schedule and stops, are clearly specified before booking. We regret that parts of the experience felt challenging and will take your comments into account to improve future tours.

A must see and the most beautiful churches I have seen and Puebla is a quaint town. Javier is awesome and very informative.

Perfect day trip from CDMX to experience the historically important archaeological site of Cholula, view the Popcatepetl and Ixtaccihuatl volcanos on the horizon (Popo is still active and smoking!), and take a walking trip through the colorful architecture of Puebla. Our tour guide, Ara, was very knowledgeable and provided insight into the cultural mix that has shaped the region. The bus was comfortable-try to get a seat toward the front for best visibility. I’d recommending branching off for the lunch portion. Puebla is famous for mole and we had a great sampling of various types at Mural de los Poblanos a few blocks away. Be prepared to walk-we clocked over 6 miles over the course of the day but there was so much to see we hardly noticed it. There is the opportunity to shop for authentic Talavera pottery in Puebla, look at the bottom of each piece for the signature of the artist. Great tour!

Excellent tour with Ara. She was very insightful and kept the group engaged. Great locations with a lot of historical background. Timely rest breaks and the right amount of free time. Highly recommend. The only downside people who are prone to car sickness should know, the tour bus ride was quite fast and bumpy. Request a seat upfront if you are sensitive to motion sickness. Great tour.

The itinerary itself is outstanding and focuses on places that truly deserve more attention. Cholula was mind-blowing - standing on the largest pyramid base in the world is something photos don’t do justice to. Puebla was a total delight: beautiful streets, rich history, and we even stumbled upon a parade, which made the visit feel extra special. The Chapel of the Rosary Capilla del Rosario inside the Templo de Santo Domingo is absolutely stunning and a must-see. Santa María Tonantzintla was on another level entirely. The church is unbelievably beautiful, and Álvaro’s commentary added so much depth and meaning that it became one of the most memorable moments of the trip.
