We had an incredible tour...

We had an incredible tour of Casa Pedregal with Isaac on Saturday (7/11). He was the perfect guide: incredibly knowledgeable, thorough, humble, and thoughtful. You could tell he has a deep appreciation for Luis Barragán's work, and he shared that knowledge in a way that was engaging and easy to understand. Although visitors are only able to walk through a portion of the house, I never felt like I was missing out. Through Isaac's explanations, I came away with a much deeper understanding of Barragán as both an architect and designer, as well as the vision and philosophy behind his work. He connected the architecture, use of light, color, materials, and spatial design in a way that made the experience far richer than simply viewing the house. If you have the opportunity to tour Casa Pedregal, I highly recommend doing so with Isaac (from Chill And Go). He made the visit memorable and gave us an entirely new appreciation for Barragán's genius.

Great Tour!!

I’ve taken a lot of tours in a lot of places but Alejandro was an incredible guide! He took us all around and inside the castle. We had an early morning tour at 8:50am with Israel. He was friendly & greet us upon arrival. Our group needed coffee and Israel listened to us. He changed the itinerary to allow us to get coffee in the museum which we are grateful for. Then we continue our tour. Israel is knowledgeable with many details of different civilizations, symbols & religion. However, we wish we could learn more about how life, culture & evolution of the various civilizations. The tour was too heavy in technical details that they were hard to follow. Overall, we appreciate Israel passion for these details, his positive energy & flexibility with our group.

Top tier tour experience!

Wow! We can't say enough good things about our experience. Ramon was so knowledgeable and knew the answer to every question we had. Him, along with his driver, Monte allowed us to take the tour at our own pace. We never felt rushed and could tailor the experience to what we wanted. He seemed generally excited to share all of his knowledge with us. Not only was it incredibly informational, but it was so much fun and exciting. The day went so smoothly with them taking care of every detail of our experience. Since there were protests outside of our hotel, they even met us in our lobby and walked us to where it was safe to be picked up. I would also highly recommend getting the included lunch, as even the meal was incredible overlooking the pyramids. We never felt pressured to stop at gift shops or to purchase things, but they were very flexible when we wanted to do so on our own accord. I can't recommend this experience enough! This was my second time booking this tour, and after experiencing as a solo traveler, I knew I wanted to do this again with my friend, and this time was even better than the last.

This is a great experience for those that want to have a little taste of traditional mexican environment with the guidance of Hector. It is a walking tour, the time allows for it to go at your own pace, there is food along the way that is a great break. We loved the traditional taco stand inside a market, we eanted that experience but were a little scared of picking the wrong stand. The attention of Hector was the best and always ready to answer all questions.

If you visit the Luis Barragán House, do yourself a favor and book this tour. Our guide was wonderful, thorough, passionate, and consistently checking in to make sure we had everything we needed. His deep knowledge of the architecture and the story behind how this iconic home came to be at its location made our visit much more meaningful. We would never have appreciated the significance of the design details, especially Barragán's extraordinary use of color, without someone who understood them so well. Truly one of the highlights of our trip to Mexico City.

Fun and good tour for seeing multiple sites

We loved this tour and found it to be a great way to visit multiple sites in one day. Our tour guide, Alan, took great care of us and was very knowledgeable on Mexican history. Hey, book it!

Traveled with my elderly parents and it was a nice walking pace. My dad enjoyed the history explanation. As Mexicans, we thought the restaurant food lacked a bit of authentic flavor. But we get it. They're catering to non-mexican tourist. We appreciated the service. The tour guides were excellent, bilingual (English/Spanish), approachable and knowledgeable. Main reason I booked this trip was because the Frida Kahlo tickets were sold out on the museum's website and this 2- day package included tickets to Frida. Again, the overall experience was a great!
