Good experience that allowed us to learn more about the history of Mexico with a small group of 10 people—not overwhelming and just enough to strike up a mix of conversations. Good blend of time together and free time to explore. Guide and driver were attentive and friendly. They impressively and seamlessly switched between English and Spanish based on the needs of the group.

Great trip! Guide was very knowledgeable and was able to communicate in both Espanol and English to the split tour. Driver was great and drove with care. Good experience at all 3 stops. Food stop was ok, lots of vendors at the artisanal shop and teotihuacan. But overall, learned a lot and had a great experience

Katya and Jose our driver were great, we recommend this trip. But the time at the Basilica of Guadalupe was very limited, it could have been better if we spend at least 2 hours there.Thank you.

I signed up for a tour in English, and ended up the only one in the group who didn’t speak Spanish. The guide was careful to deliver his information in both languages.

Driver never turned up

Rosy_D, Sep 2025
We were let down by Wayak as the driver never turned up. I received an email the night before confirming we would be picked up from the hotel lobby at 8.35am. We waited from 8.15am tilll 10am thinking driver could be late due to traffic. I never received a message or call and it was too late to organise alternative arrangements. It spoilt our day as the tour would have been the highlight of our trip to Mexico. As I had done the booking I felt I had let my family down. We were offered a refund with no explanation given. As we had other arrangements the next day and leaving Mexico city the day after it meant we missed out on this particular tour. I have never booked with Viator before and this was a bad & disappointing experience.

Highly Recommend!

What a wonderful trip! Felt like we were in great hands with Gil behind the wheel. Marco the guide was SUPER informative. Truly enjoyed my experience and would recommend to anyone.

Great tour. Francisco was an awesome tour guide. Not only was he very informative but he had the answer each time I asked a question, demonstrating his depth of knowledge. My recommendation is to book the tour for Monday to Thursday to avoid the tourist crowds. We booked ours for Tuesday for this exact reason and it paid off. The 16 passenger van had only 4 people in it! This was essentially a private tour as we made friends with the other party of 2.

An Exceptional Tour with Marcos and Gilberto.

Nick_R, Jul 2025
Marcos and Gilberto were fantastic. Marcos was incredibly knowledgeable and his detail on every site was fantastic. He was able to address complex histories from a variety of perspectives. Gilberto's ability to maneuver through the frequently difficult traffic was much appreciated and he always made sure we were comfortable.

amazing experience

Francisco was a phenomenal tour guide. He was quick to translate everything in English and Spanish. He was very informative and knowledgeable to answer questions and guide us. We had a wonderful experience! They even pick us up from where we were staying- which was extremely helpful. There were other people on the tour so we got to meet new people.

This day tour was a great way to see some of Mexico's most important sites without any hassle. Everything was well-organized and ran smoothly. We got to explore the ruins of Teotihuacan, visit the beautiful Shrine of Guadalupe, and learn some cool history at Tlatelolco. The guide was friendly and explained things in a fun, easy-to-understand way. It was a full day but didn’t feel rushed or tiring. A perfect trip if you want to see a lot in a short time!

My wife and I had a great day exploring with Francisco and Hector! Communication about hotel pickup was seamless, and the transportation was cool and comfortable. Francisco did a great job of providing background and information about the sites, while also leaving enough time for individual exploration. Would definitely recommend this tour!

Fernando and Joel were fantastic, the pick up was at our hotel and then a few stops along the way to see ruins, the pyramid, the church. The ride was air conditioned and clean. Worth the money!

This was an excellent excursion that lasted the perfect amount of time. Our guide, Marcos, was extremely knowledgeable about all the sights we visited. He was also very passionate about the history of Mexico and shared fascinating facts about pre- and post-Columbian culture. Moises, our bus driver, was friendly and drove safely throughout the trip.

Highly Recommended!

Jett_Z, May 2025
Marcos absolutely gave us a great tour and showed tons of passion on the subject! The pyramids were great and not too crowded!

Full day

quata53, Apr 2025
Our guide Marcos and driver Hugo were very good. Marcos was full of information. The tour was a lot longer that we expected. There were a few stops that we could have skipped to allow more time at the Basicilla,

Teotihuacan and Basilica

Eugene_M, Apr 2025
Our tour guide was fun and informative. The trip was well worth the money. Everything turned out really nice. I would definitely recommend. Allan Fernando and our drive Joel were excellent!

Best Teotihuacan Tour

Ruoqing_W, Apr 2025
It’s the best teotihuacan tour on the market! Marcos (guide) and Hugo (driver) met us at our hotel at the scheduled time (8:50am), and we joined a small group of 9 people only. The first stop was the Tres Culturas archeological site, which we learned various clashes in recent Mexican history. The second stop was a center of local arts, where we sampled numerous alcoholic drinks and learned about local arts. The third stop was the highlight of the day - the teotihuacan pyramids! Marcos did a fantastic job explaining everything, and we spent 2 hours visiting every structure. Lunch was excellent. Though the food was on the pricier side, but it was delicious! A lunch for two cost about MX$1300 (with drinks and tips). The last stop of the day was the basilica where the original virgin of Guadalupe painting is housed. We spent another hour there. It was a long day (9am-6pm) but we learned so much! Marcos and Hugo are the best!
