Top Madeira Day Trips

Fabulous day had with our guide and driver, Ben. Very knowledgeable and friendly and we both enjoyed our walk and the company of our group. The walk itself is set mostly through trees and does have many steps, both up and down. Finishing with a walk through a 800 metre tunnel. Highly recommended.

First, our host, Nadia greeted us warmly. Pickup was on time. She explained everything well on the drive up. She noted all of the best viewers and stopped at perfect moments (when we were exhausted) to give us great history of the area/island. It was a very tough hike at times (for me, 45 y/o male, average fitness). Lots of steep uphill climbs. Ultimately the payoff was at the end. You will be walking in the clouds.

Very good experience , is definitely worth it!. Mauricio is a fantastic tour guide and his driving skills are 10/10 literally felt like a little rollercoaster at times due to the curvy roads in Madeira. You get to see all the island with some amazing sights, Mauricio was very informative throughout the tour and drove us to multiple free locations where theres no charge and still had the same views ! Personally I loved this ! We did make a quick stop towards the end of the tour for some Poncha 😅 which was a great end to the tour . I would definitely recommend!
