Disneyland never disappoints but lines were long at a slow time of year due to many major attractions being closed for refurbishment. Ticket transaction through Viator was excellent.

Great place but don't go on a Saturday

The Adventure park was better than the Disneyland park. It was a Saturday we went to be Disneyland and the genie plus was useless as there were so many people. Also some rides were not operating. We couldn't get into the popular ones even with the genie plus. Disappointing when you fly from Australia to experience, spend a fortune and you can't get into the rides. Surely if you come from overseas you should be able to pre-book.

Deciding beforehand exactly which rides and attractions you want to experience can be useful, especially for first-time visitors and those with limited time at the park.
Look out for the Hidden Mickeys throughout Disneyland® Park, especially Main Street, U.S.A.
There are plenty of dining options within Disneyland® Park, as well as at the nearby Downtown Disney® District. Check which ones require reservations in advance.
