This experience was excellent. The guide, Clive, was easy to find and greeted us right on time. The bus was clean and comfortable. A great start to the tour. Clive was entertaining and knowledgeable and the bus driver was masterful driving during a busy time on London streets. Tons of information that we would not otherwise know just touring London without a guide

Great Rock Tour!

JENNIFER_C, Apr 2026
I previously lived in London, but my husband is a huge classic rock fan had never been before and really wanted to see where it all began. He wanted to cross Abbey Road and see where the Beatles played on the rooftop. He really enjoyed the whole tour and I learned things I hadn't before on my many tours while I had lived in London previously. Clive was a great tour guide and since he is a musician himself, seemed to really relish the feel of the tour and enthusiasm for the ROCK!

Worth a return trip!

Alyx_M, Apr 2026
Our guide, Steve, was full of information about both Rock and Roll and London. He easily engaged his audience and has a great sense of humor. I can't for the life of me remember our driver's name, but he was a navigation wizard on a high traffic day due to the tube drivers' strike. We had booked this trip for last year and missed the bus, so we had to come back to London to try again. It was more than worth it!

Unmissable if you love your rock n roll history

Dale_N, Apr 2026
Absolutely fantastic afternoon out. Our tour guide Frank was a fountain of knowledge and even showed us another couple of places after the tour had finished. Thank you Frank, you are an absolute star!!

It was very informational. I love the Beatles info but he also talked a lot about people I didn’t know. I was only disappointed that we did not go to Freddie mercury's house.

Clive was a Rock and Roll encyclopedia! We enjoyed this tour immensely...especially walking across Abbey Road! Highly recommended for classic British rock fans!

It's Only Rock-n-Roll; but, I Like It!

Robin_E, Sep 2025
This was very enjoyable, and while our guide, Clive, was quite knowledgeable, he was late arriving. Our bus driver, Gocan was INCREDIBLE! We felt that the meeting place instructions were kind of vague, and we weren't sure we were at the correct location. The tour ended up running over approximately 30 minutes, which was not an inconvenience for us; however, it may have been for others on the tour. We all had the opportunity to recreate the Abbey Road photo, as well as see the original Hard Rock cafe.

Great tour

Hilary_L, Sep 2025
We had Colin for a guide on our Rock & Roll tour. He took us around London to see pivotal areas where music history was made. The Beatles, Rolling Stones, Rod Stewart, Eric Clapton, Jimi Hendrix, Queen, and more. We, of course went to Abbey Road at the end and all got out pictures taken. We even inquired about a band my husband liked, Joy Division, and he looped some sites into our tour. Great driving too in busy London traffic. We will book tours in the future with Viator.

Not much to see here

Daniel_S, Aug 2025
Disappointing afternoon, didn’t see much, didn’t learn much, way to much time on the comfortable bus, but could have spent the time bettet

The Rocking Rock and Roll Tour

NaganathM, Aug 2025
The tour was fabulous and we got to see many cool areas covering punk rock and classic rock culminating with the iconic Abbey Road. We saw Jimmy Page’s castle like home with turrets near Holland Park. Covered some facts about Rolling Stones, Pink Floyd, Sex Pistols, Led Zeppelin, Black Sabbath, queen, Beatles, Hendrix and few others. We did the afternoon tour and our tour guide Richard is fantastic. Extremely knowledgeable and very friendly and helpful. Definitely recommend Richard. He was paired with Neil the amazing coach driver. Navigating the tight streets with aplomb and flair. Absolutely fantastic tour with a photo op opportunity at the legendary Abbey Road traffic crossing. Huge kudos to Richard. Worth the 4 hours

Pretty good but room for improvement

MIchael_W, Jul 2025
Clive was a great tour guide with lots of knowledge and the bus driver with him was great as well. I felt there could have been a bit more structure - music playing all the time over the speakers instead of just here and there; a stop for a snack; also, we visited locations and heard the stories but we didn't see for example, this is the guitar Jimi Hendrix played, or a visit inside an actual venue; that would have felt more complete.

Total Cool vibes

debbie_b, Jul 2025
Our tour guide was extremely knowledgeable. Had a great sense of humor tolerated our behavior… the record store we stopped out, however, was so tiny. I couldn’t really enjoy it and I got kicked out.

Sherrill_B, Jul 2025
This is mainly a bus tour pointing out where various rock stars lived or performed. I enjoyed seeing parts of London that are off the beaten tourist track. Stopping for a picture crossing Abbey Road was the highlight of the tour.

Disappointed

Randee_W, Jul 2025
It really wasn't much of a Music Tour we were in a bus and we just drove around for 4 hours we only got off twice and no water or beverages and then when I asked to use a restroom I felt uncomfortable I didn't feel that the guide really knew that much about music I'm going to be perfectly honest and it was not cheap I went on a previous music for on Tuesday that was half the price and 100% better

Great tour!

Desiree_S, Jun 2025

Great tour, highly recommend to anyone who enjoys London music. Tour guide extremely knowledgeable and tour lasted 4.5 hours.

Good historical overview, not much to see (?)

Laura_M, Mar 2025
Great historical overview, but not much to see. Tour was ok, the guide was great and good storyteller, but every site was like, ‘this Tesco’ used to be’…. Didn’t really ‘see’ much until Abbey Road intersection. Sat in a lot of traffic too.

Great overview of other parts of the city. Plenty of back stories of various recording studios. The guide Richard was great The driver Richard was a very skillful.

Worth it!

Kristen, Jan 2025
Colin was great and it was a really great way to see not only the cool rock locations but also the sights of the city that you wouldn’t on any other sight seeing tour on a comfy bus. Very much targeted at Beatles, the who

Music die-hards only

Kelly_R, Dec 2024
The guide was very knowledgeable, but definitely leaned more on factoids than creating a fun and engaging tour group atmosphere. I felt rushed through some stops and I think some prioritizing could have helped. Overall, it was a pleasant enough morning, but really only for music die-hards.

The London Rock and Roll Music Tour really Rocked.

catherine_B, Dec 2024
I booked the London Rock and Roll Music Tour for myself and a relative while we stayed in London. I am familiar with London and many sites but this tour was fantastic. Our tour guide Richard was both informative and great to talk to. His wealth of music knowledge was remarkable. Our stops included passing by where the Rolling stones lived , members of Pink Floyd got their inspiration, Jimi Hendrix lived when in London, and of course the Beatles and Brian Epstein. One of the highlights was jumping off and walking the famous Abbey Road zebra crossing which appears on the Beatles Abbey Road album. There was so much more which was really interesting and fun we had a fab time. The only slight recommendation would be to identify the coach as being The Rock and Roll tour bus as myself and companion walked by it several times. Kind Regards to our wonderful host and driver.

Magical Musical bus tour!

Kathleen_C, Dec 2024
Fun, interactive, small groups, time to stretch legs and walk a bit, personable leader, time efficient

Going back in time!

Lorna_F, Dec 2024
We had the best time with our guide Rich. He is very informative and fun to be with. Did over and above what was expected. Worth the time and money.

Great fun

Thomas_G, Nov 2024

Fun and Informative!

Rodney_T, Oct 2024
